In the aftermath of the severe weather incident on July 1, Ottawa is advancing its recovery efforts by establishing temporary collection points for hazardous household waste. Residents meeting the criteria can access these sites on July 11, 13, 14, and 15, operating from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally, electronic waste will be accepted at no cost at the Trail Road Facility Landfill and during a designated drop-off event at the Tony Graham Recreation Complex on July 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This cleanup initiative is focused on the safe disposal of storm-related debris as recovery operations progress.
