00:00Jordan, huge congratulations. You're in another World Cup semi-final and you are the England player with more appearances at
00:08World Cup now than any other player.
00:09Those are two massive things to happen to you in one night, aren't they?
00:12Yeah, I think first and foremost it's more about the team like I always talk about to get another semi
00:18-final.
00:19We're at that stage where we need to keep going. We've had a great game tonight against a top opponent
00:24and we come through a test and yeah, a great honour to be in another semi-final.
00:30Give us the other bit as well about the record.
00:33Yeah, the record's a massive honour for myself and my family but we're here for a team game.
00:38I mean, I'll reflect on that in years to come but at this moment in time, yeah, everybody knows me.
00:43It's about getting the job done and focusing on the next game.
00:47Hi Jordan, from Norwegian Daily News here. Congratulations so much on going through.
00:53What was the key for you today to stop Erling Haaland and what was your thought when you saw him
00:56getting subbed off?
00:57Yeah, I think, I don't, everyone knows how good a player Erling is but we also know how good a
01:03team know we are.
01:05So it's not just an individual, it's a team game and yeah, they played good today, they got the goal
01:11and we had to bounce back and we had to go into deep waters and go in extra time and
01:15get the result.
01:18Jordan, from Colombia, Wilson Gannon.
01:21I want to ask you, how do you describe Jude Bellingham that today he was the man of the match?
01:28Yeah, it's brilliant.
01:29His mentality is what puts him on that level to come at times every game to make blocks.
01:37You see in the last game against Mexico, that last hit tackle from a set piece, that's just as good
01:42as a goal.
01:42And we know the qualities everyone else has up top and Jude's getting the rewards and yeah, he's been top
01:49level and may continue.
01:52Jordan, obviously the manager has spoken after the game about maybe not being the best performance but how would that
01:58show the standards that you guys are setting that you're in a World Cup semi-final and it feels like
02:02you could even improve and go on and do better?
02:04Yeah, I think you've got to always want to improve to get another semi-final is great and we always
02:10want to keep improving.
02:12We'll reflect on the game and we'll analyse it before we move on to the next game and that's the
02:16standards the manager's setting.
02:17That's what we set as a team ourselves.
02:19I think tonight though, the humidity, I think it was, for me, we talked about altitude in Mexico but I
02:26think tonight was probably the most humid game we've played in all tournaments.
02:29So, I would say that plays a bit of a factor as well.
02:32Jordan, over here.
02:34Stephanie Sherman from Venezuela first.
02:36Well, congratulations.
02:38And second, can you talk a little bit about the mentality of England because the, sorry, can you hear me
02:43better?
02:45The game before against Mexico and then this game, you guys fought until the end even when the other team
02:53were doing a very good game too.
02:55Yeah, you know, sometimes you've got to go in the trenches and you've got to be resilient and you've got
03:01to roll your sleeves up as a team and that's what we've got.
03:04We've got that togetherness, that team spirit and, you know, the commitment.
03:07We drive ourselves.
03:08We'll never say never and, you know, the manager wants us improved going forward and, yeah, we definitely, we want
03:15to do that ourselves.
03:15But when the going gets tough, we're resilient and we dig in as a team and make blocks, we make
03:21errors, we make saves and everyone's putting the effort in to get the result.
03:24And I think everyone, everyone can see that.
03:27Everyone can see that at home and hopefully they're having a good night.
03:30Hi, Jordan.
03:31Congratulations.
03:32Ayesha Gilati, HATES TV.
03:34Really an amazing performance all rounds.
03:37But for you, you have a really unique position in goal, being so close to the fans for so much
03:41of those matches.
03:43Just how much do they get you guys going and ultimately get you over the line and into a semi?
03:48No, we're like, for us as lads, we know how much it means to us and we know how much
03:55it means to them.
03:56And for them to be out in their voices in every game, you know, spending well-earned money, well-earned
04:01money to come over and support us, it means a lot to us.
04:04And all we want to do is pay them back and we also have our families there as well.
04:08So it's a team thing and we all do it for this badge that we're wearing and we're immensely proud
04:13to be putting them in their shirt on every game we play in.
04:16Hi, Jordan.
04:17We're here.
04:17From a Norwegian VG, from a Norwegian perspective, of course, the disallowed goal was a big talking point.
04:24What was your view on that situation and what did you think when the referee went out to the screen?
04:30Yeah, it always happened in football.
04:32VAR is there now.
04:34I've not seen it back.
04:36I would say VAR has, you know, stopped us getting a penalty and stopped them scoring a goal.
04:42So it's even itself out and you can't comment on it too much.
04:46And for me, that's the laws of the game now and that's what you've got to be careful for.
04:50So we were in the pre-World Cup meeting and they said they would punish things like that and that's
04:56what they've done.
04:57Hi, Pickford.
04:58Gottspa from Nigeria.
05:00Good one today.
05:01What can you say about Harry Kane's leadership and Belliam getting a brace today?
05:07And yes, what can you say about that?
05:08Yeah, Harry sets his standards on and off the field and we know the standards you set from yourself and
05:15he's a great role model for everybody.
05:17And when you've got a lead like that, you need other leaders behind him and that's what we've got.
05:22We've got a team full of leaders and like we've spoke about earlier, Jude's popped up with two great goals
05:27again and we've got over the line and now we need to recover and get ready for the next game.
05:31Thank you, we'll leave you there.
05:33See you, Bobby.
05:34Jude, over here, mate.
05:36No, I'll be okay.
05:38Huge congratulations, Jude.
05:39You're in a World Cup semi-final.
05:41I said to you after the Mexico win, I asked you about the guts and the sheer will to win
05:46in this team.
05:46It was there again for all to see.
05:48Was it even there even more tonight with the injuries and the heat?
05:51Yeah, good evening all.
05:53No, definitely.
05:54I think it's the game split into loads of different kind of facets, you know, some of it's technical, tactical
06:02and for me the biggest one is psychological and how you can manage setbacks, how you can manage adversity.
06:08And this team showed yet again that they can do it and that's a really valuable skill and trait to
06:14have going into this stage of the tournament.
06:16Thomas has just been quite critical of the performance after the game.
06:19Does that show the standards that he expects, the standards you guys expect of each other and maybe that there's
06:24more to come from the team?
06:25Maybe.
06:26Well, maybe he doesn't know what it's like to play in those kind of conditions against Erling Haaland, Odegaard, Nusash,
06:31Soloth.
06:32You know, that's not an easy team to play against.
06:34So, you know, I think we've tried to create a positive environment.
06:38We should continue that going into the final four.
06:41I can't speak highly enough for the lads.
06:43You're not going to win every game popping the ball and making a thousand passes sometimes.
06:47You have to win dirty and we've done that again tonight.
06:49Hello, Jude.
06:50Here is Roberto Quintana, of Televisión Española.
06:53First, congratulations on the pass to the semifinals.
06:56You have three of the best selecciones, two finalists of the Eurocopa, one of the finalists of the last World
07:02Cup.
07:02We'll see what does Argentina do.
07:03What do you say to you, that the great have responded and you are in the semifinals?
07:08Spain, France, Inglaterra.
07:09Well, it's incredible for our country, for all of our country.
07:17It's a very special day and for more, I hope.
07:21Hi, Jude.
07:22Over here.
07:23Hi, yeah.
07:24Sorry.
07:25Congratulations.
07:25Aisha Gulati from Haters TV.
07:27You were the match winner in a World Cup quarterfinal.
07:30You're into a semifinal.
07:32That must just feel incredible.
07:33Is this something you ever dreamt of growing up?
07:35Is it beyond your wildest dreams?
07:37Yeah, probably a bit beyond, to be honest.
07:39I'm a confident boy, but I don't think you go to bed at night dreaming about games like that.
07:44So I've said before in the other interviews that I've done, it's nice to have an impact and to help
07:49my team.
07:50But my God, the effort of those lads in there, you know, I'm so proud of how they keep battling,
07:55regardless of what situations we find ourselves in.
07:58They can be really proud, and I know they are, and I'll make sure they feel that as well.
08:03So, Jude, congrats to your two goals and to make it to the semifinal.
08:08Before your first goal, the ball touched the camera or the rope of the camera.
08:13Did you see that?
08:15Did you guys see that?
08:16I didn't say that, mate.
08:17Sorry.
08:18I didn't say that.
08:19Sorry.
08:22Bellingham, por acá.
08:23Bueno, Stephanie Sherman de Venezuela para Solo Next.
08:26Primero, felicitarte.
08:42Estoy contento.
08:43Ayuda a mi equipo otra vez.
08:45Pero es un gran esfuerzo de todos, todos mis compañeros, staff y los fans también.
08:52Es un día muy especial para Inglaterra.
08:56Hey, Jude, ¿cómo estás?
08:57Congratulations, Alonso Contreras, for Air Sport Network.
09:00How do you manage the pressure because you work with a positive yellow card to play in good means the
09:07semifinal?
09:07How do you, I mean, through the game, do you think about that?
09:10How do you manage the pressure?
09:11And why do you talk to the coach as well?
09:12Yeah, me mom's telling me all week to watch my language, watch my tackles, watch my face, watch my emotions.
09:19So, yeah, I think she drilled it into me all week about being careful of that yellow card.
09:26And to be honest, when you play the right way, and credit to the referee who was classy, still let
09:31you communicate in a respectful way.
09:32A lot of referees don't let you do that.
09:34So, I think when I get the balance right and as a referee who's willing to listen, it makes it
09:38a lot easier.
09:39And in the end, it was just a really well competed game of football.
09:43And, yeah, luckily I got through it.
09:45Hey, Jude, dispara Globovisión en Venezuela.
09:50Well, the people sang everything, hey you, at the end, you know, I think you've had two extraordinary games, a
09:56incredible mundial.
09:58How do you feel in particular, you?
10:01And the physical condition of the team, because it has costed a lot every minute of the game.
10:06Well, thank you for these words.
10:10It's difficult, but it's difficult to win the world.
10:15We all need more every day, every game, and that's why we're in the semi-finals.
10:23Hello, hey Jude.
10:25Here from Norwegian newspaper, congratulations with the victory.
10:30Thomas Tuchel said after the gaming interviews that you were a tad lucky also to beat Norway today.
10:36What do you think about the statement from the boss?
10:38No comment.
10:39Oh, okay.
10:44Jude, over here, mate, straight in front of you.
10:47Huge congratulations.
10:48You're in a World Cup semi-final.
10:50What does that mean to you?
10:52Yeah, it's a blessing.
10:53A dream come true.
10:55And, yeah, man, I'm very happy to be in a semi-final.
11:00Can you hear me?
11:03No, just try again.
11:05Jude, let me do that one again.
11:07You can guess what's coming.
11:08Huge congratulations.
11:09World Cup semi-final.
11:10What does that mean to you?
11:11Yeah, it's a blessing.
11:13I'm grateful.
11:14And, yeah, it's a dream come true.
11:16And in terms of, you talked about the guts that the team showed in altitude and backs to the wall
11:22with 10 men against Mexico in Mexico City.
11:25With all the injuries that were happening with the heat out there, was that even more guts at the time?
11:30Yeah, it was a tough game with the heat.
11:32But, you know, the boys dug in.
11:34We were dug in.
11:35And, yeah, we got over the line, man.
11:40Spence.
11:41Hi.
11:42Well, first, congratulations.
11:45And I also want to ask you, what do you feel like coming into a quarter-final that's already very
11:49hard to play?
11:51And to a Norway that did have a very good game against you guys.
11:55I don't know if you can hear me.
11:56No, not really.
11:57Sorry.
11:57Sorry.
11:58I was just, can you hear me now?
11:59Yeah.
12:00I was just saying, first, congratulations.
12:02And, well, I was just asking you, you came into one of the, like, most typical games now, I think,
12:07in the semifinal.
12:08And what do you think about Norway?
12:11Because, well, they did a very great game.
12:14Yeah, they did a good game.
12:16They're a good team.
12:17They defended well.
12:18And, you know, we had to break them down, pound the rock.
12:20But, yeah, we've done it.
12:22And we're happy.
12:24Hi.
12:25How are you?
12:27Hi.
12:28How are you?
12:28My name is Alonso Contrero from Airy Sport Real World.
12:30What does it mean for England to have Jude Bellingham at the best level that he's showing?
12:36You know, he was with a yellow card precaution.
12:38I think that he could miss the next game.
12:40But he showed up with two goals and put England to the next face in the semifinals.
12:46Yeah, he's a phenomenal player.
12:48A big player.
12:49And big players turn up at the big games.
12:50And that's what he's done every game for.
12:52So, yeah, fantastic player.
12:54Hello, Spence.
12:56What did Thomas tell you before you go into the pitch?
13:00It seems like both of you were a little bit mad.
13:03Sorry, say that again.
13:04What did Thomas tell you before you get into the pitch?
13:08It seems like both of you get a little bit mad.
13:11He was a little bit mad?
13:13No, I think it's just passion.
13:15It just psyched me up to go into the pitch and cause trouble.
13:18And, yeah, that's what I did.
13:23Many controversies in this game.
13:27One of the penalties, can you please tell us how you've experienced that situation?
13:32Say that again, sorry.
13:34The penalty situation, how did you experience that?
13:36What do you think about that part?
13:39What's my thoughts on it?
13:42I mean, the whole world saw it.
13:43So, yeah, I'll let everyone decide.
13:45I've got no comment for that one.
13:51Hi, Spence.
13:52Congrats on the win.
13:53I wanted to ask you, how important is it to have the fans?
13:56I know that you've trained in Florida already in Tampa.
13:59You have some friendlies.
14:01How did the weather?
14:02It seems like you guys got more rhythm, faster, stronger, and obviously you guys got the result.
14:08Yeah, we had to dig in.
14:11And as the game got on, we got stronger.
14:13The players came on, made a difference.
14:15And, yeah, I thought we were stronger, stronger than them when the game went on.
14:19So, yeah.
14:21Could I ask you about the resilience that you guys have shown at Mexico City to come here today,
14:27the heat, all the rest of it?
14:28I mean, what kind of position does that put you in for the rest of the tournament here?
14:31And just the character that you guys have right now is pretty incredible to be a part of, right?
14:36But, yeah, we've got a great character, a great team spirit.
14:39And that's what we've been building over the last couple of months.
14:42And, yeah, it's a family and we're all together.
14:44And, yeah, we'll die for each other.
14:47Hi, Jed.
14:48Huge congratulations.
14:49Incredible to make it through to World Cup semi-final.
14:51I want to ask you a bit about your performance because when you came on,
14:54it felt like you really had the bit between your teeth.
14:56You were so tenacious, really going for everything.
14:58Can you talk me through a little bit about that mentality and what it meant?
15:01You must have known the end goal, right?
15:03Yeah, listen, I just want to make the country proud, the nation proud,
15:08my team proud, the manager proud.
15:10And, yeah, when I step on the pitch, I'll give 100%, 110% for this country.
15:14And, yeah, I'm just grateful to do my part.
15:24Hi, Jed.
15:24I just wanted to ask you about the Norway team one more time.
15:27Erling Haaland came off in the midway through extra time.
15:30I wonder what your reaction was.
15:31Obviously, you prepared for every Norwegian attacker,
15:33but were you surprised by that decision?
15:36No, not really.
15:38I wasn't really focused on him, to be fair.
15:40But, obviously, it was a tough game.
15:41Everyone was feeling it.
15:43And just because he was tired, I guess, so he had to come off.
15:46I don't know.
15:48We'll leave you there.
15:49Thank you very much.
15:49Thank you, guys.
15:50Cheers.
15:50Cheers.
15:50Cheers.
15:50Cheers.
15:51Cheers.
15:51Cheers.
