Looks can be deceiving! In today's video, we are building The Ultimate Sleeper Build. We took a classic, retro, yellowed office PC case from the early 2000s and completely gutted it to pack it with cutting-edge, top-tier modern hardware.

We are talking about a stealthy beast engineered to destroy modern AAA games, breeze through high-end multitasking, and fly through heavy 3D architectural rendering workflows—all while looking like a useless piece of e-waste from the outside. Watch until the very end to see the look on people's faces when this ancient tower boots up in seconds with full modern performance!

00:00This is a PC from 1998 and I have over $3,000 worth of brand new PC parts that we're
00:06going to
00:06put inside of it and try to build the ultimate sleeper PC. Alright, the first thing we need to
00:10do is get rid of absolutely everything from inside the PC because we're going to need
00:14literally all the space that we can get to fit the new parts in. After that, it's time to drill
00:17a couple holes for airflow, sand, and paint the inside white to match the rest of the parts.
00:22Once the inside of our PC is fully prepped, we can finally start putting our very expensive PC
00:26parts into the case. Starting with the motherboard, which somehow already fits perfectly with no
00:31modifications, then the AAO, power supply, fans, and then by far the worst part, the cables. After I get
00:37everything plugged in and the cables decently managed, it's time to mount our RTX 4080 Super.
00:43Now, this thing literally takes up 90% of the case, so I had to mount it vertically for it
00:47to even fit
00:47inside, but so far, this thing is starting to look absolutely insane. Then the last thing we need to
00:52do is put all the panels back on, set it up, plug it in, and we know have definitely the
00:56best looking sleeper PC I've ever seen.

Welcome back to Mr. metech! 🤫💻 There is nothing better than having a PC that looks like it belongs in a 2004 school library but performs like a high-end workstation. What do you think of this sleeper setup? Would you build one yourself to hide your expensive hardware, or do you prefer the classic modern RGB glass cases? Let's chat in the comments
