00:00There is a gift that God died to give. It is not something that we earn. There is not a
00:06man that's
00:06good enough. Do not think that, oh, I'm not as bad as this person, and I'm not as bad as
00:11that person,
00:11so I'm okay. No matter how religious you are, no matter how sinful you are, oh, I'm a preacher,
00:19but we stand on the same ground needing the grace of God, needing the mercy of God. All of us
00:26stand
00:26on equal footing. It doesn't matter. The religious man needs God and the mercy of God just like the
00:33sinner man needs him. Oh, Lord, help us today. So nobody's exempt here. Therefore, I want to talk
00:39about the gift. God said, I give you a gift. Oh, our God is a great God because he gives
00:46us a gift
00:47in place of the payment. He gives us a gift in place of eternal separation. God said,
00:56I'll take your punishment. That's what he did on the cross. He said, I'll take your punishment,
01:02and what I'll hand to you is the gift. Oh, you don't deserve the gift. I don't deserve the gift,
01:08but God said, I want to give the gift. Oh, he gave the gift. There's nothing that we can earn.
01:14For all men are sinners, and when we broke one part of the law, since our God is perfect,
01:21if you broke one part of the law, the Bible said that you've broken the whole thing.
01:51God said, I'll take your punishment.
