Roseann Sureda is a singer-songwriter, producer, and captivating performer hailing from the Hudson Valley, known for her ability to charm audiences effortlessly. With a vintage star aura, she has been making waves in the music industry, and her gig at The Metropolitan Room marked a turning point in her career.
In 2019, Roseann released her highly anticipated debut album, "It's Called Love," which steadily climbed the radio indie charts throughout spring and summer. The album boasts an eclectic and luxurious collection, showcasing her vocal versatility. Notably, it consistently ranked in the top 10 on Jazz Juice Radio UK and saw three of its singles reach #1 on the Indie Alliance top 20 charts. Moreover, it also earned her a place among the top 10 artists on the esteemed Unisoul Radio Network. Her talent has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by her three World Song Writing Awards (WSA) Best Blues Song for “Stand Up And Be Counted “ Fall 2025, Best Music Production for "Beauty Of The Islands" in Spring 2021 and Best Music Video for “It’s Called Love” Fall of 2021.
Before the release of "It's Called Love," Roseann garnered national acclaim for the music video accompanying the title track, debuting in 2015. Shot on the historic Kingston, NY waterfront, the visually cinematic video earned the prestigious Best Music Video prize at the 2018 Silicon Beach Film Festival, along with five bronze awards at the 2018 Global Independent Film Awards.
Sureda, Doug Gray, and Jose Figueroa co-wrote and recorded “American Baby” with The Brotherhood Band, in 2019, at New York Based Unity Gain Recording. It’s an old-fashioned patriotic song charting #1 by King of spins and became a favorite Hudson Valley Independence Day parade song. “American Baby” has been re-released for sale on 10/28/24, as a Stadium Anthem Mix - American Dreams under UGE Unity/ Gain Recordings.
In 2020 she teamed up with the highly regarded Dave Howard Initiative, resulting in their co-written single "Your Smile" released on David's CD entitled "Next" in November 2020. The song, which was considered for the 2020 Grammy Award for Song of the Year, showcases Roseann's lyrical prowess and musical collaboration with David Howard. Adding to her accolades, she also co-wrote the 2022 festive holiday song "The Good Ol' Days Are Now" with Lara Hope.
Throughout her career, Roseann has worked with a plethora of esteemed musicians, including Pete Levin, Scott Petito, Bruce Katz, Jay Collins, Matt Finck, Nanny Assis, David Spinoza, the late Malcolm Cecil, Jerry Marotta, Manuel Quintana, Jeff Siegel, Rich Syracuse, Chris Pasin, among others.
Recently, her classic remake single, "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes," was internationally released on July 7, 2023, with the official US release set for July 31, 2023. The song was considered for the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Performance.
