00:01Entries are now open for Liverpool's annual Santas Dash, with thousands expected to join
00:06the festive fun this December. The 5km event takes place on Sunday 6th December,
00:11starting from the Pier Head. Organisers BTR Liverpool say it remains the UK's largest
00:17festive fun run and hope to attract even more participants this year. Last year, more than
00:2311,000 Santas took part, including 1,000 Blue Santas. The event welcomes runners, walkers and
00:29participants using a wheelchair. Fundraising supports 10 local charities across the Liverpool City region.
00:36The event also includes the 1km Mini Santa Dash for youngsters who are aged 12 or under.
