Sen. Grassley Trys To Add Photo ID To Health Care Bill

Having failed earlier to add a provision that would have prevented private insurance companies from funding abortions, Senator Grassley (R-Iowa) tries to add a provision to the health care bill requiring children to have a national photo ID. The amendment, just like his abortion funding amendment was defeated 13-10 in the Senate Finance committee.
