00:11Well, I had a great relationship in my first term.
00:16You remember Pastor Brunson and he was put in jail for 35 years and I called, he was
00:22an evangelical hero actually, very good man, and I called President Erdogan and he let
00:29him out.
00:29I didn't pay anything like Obama and Biden pay billions of dollars all the time.
00:33I never paid any, for anybody, I just tell him, let him out, let him out.
00:40But in this case, I didn't say it the second way, I said it the first way, I said, look,
00:45he's a good man, he's highly respected and the evangelical, and I'd like you to let him
00:49out.
00:49And he was in my office, in the Oval Office, the following day, Pastor Brunson.
00:54I had a great relationship.
00:55When sleepy Joe Biden got in, bad things happened, with a lot of things, between the border,
01:02everything was bad.
01:04We were laughed at all over the world and we had a very bad relationship with a lot of
01:08countries.
01:09I think Turkey was one of those countries.
01:12But that changed on November 5th, when we had the election, and we've, I've, it's one
01:19of our best relationships, we have a great relationship.
01:21And they're talking about the F-35 airplane.
01:25And it's the best plane and everybody wants it.
01:27And we have to make a decision who we give it to.
01:31I mean, my inclination, because he, again, he stayed out of, he's not a huge fan of Bibi,
01:37and he's not a huge fan of Israel.
01:39But he stayed out of that war.
01:41He could have gone into that war very easily and he didn't, at my request, he stayed out
01:44of that war.
01:45And he's been a very good ally.
01:47I mean, Marco could tell you, we have a very strong relationship with Turkey.
01:51It's a very big country.
01:52It's a very powerful, militarily, it's a very, it's the second most powerful country
01:57in NATO.
01:58It's a NATO country.
02:00So whether or not we do that, I haven't totally made up my mind.
02:04But my inclination is to say, look, he's done everything we've, he's helped us in so many
02:09different ways.
02:10And you know who else has been good to us?
02:12China.
02:13China never came into the war.
02:15They get 50% of their oil from Harmu strait.
02:19They never came into the war.
02:20They never said, I'm going to send a ship in five destroyers along each side of the
02:25ship.
02:26They never did.
02:27No, he was, he's been president, she's been great.
02:31Everyone's been sort of great, to be honest.
02:32You know why?
02:33Because they respect our country again.
02:36They laughed at our country.
02:37They thought we were a bunch of fools.
02:39They saw a president that couldn't talk, he couldn't walk.
02:43It was a disaster.
02:45They lost respect for our country, but now they have more respect for our country than
02:49they've ever had before.
