00:00Go ahead, Red.
00:01Mr. President, you said today, Inez de la Quatera with MS Now, you said today that countries...
00:06You're with who?
00:06MS Now.
00:08MS Now, that's a failing network. Why would you want to work for them?
00:12MS Now, can you imagine? They wanted to get away. They took the name NBC because they were embarrassed by
00:17it.
00:17Go ahead, let's go. When did you hear this question?
00:20You said today that countries like Spain, Italy, and the UK were not there for the U.S. in its
00:25war with Iran.
00:26Should those countries be attacked, will the U.S. be there for that?
00:29Well, I'll tell you what. Number one, Spain has been very bad, but, you know, Italy has been good, and
00:35almost all of the countries have been good.
00:38They just had a bad moment. They didn't help us. We didn't need the help, but if we would have
00:43wanted the help...
00:44I said, by the way, if I want help, sure would rather remain on the sidelines, and I didn't like
00:49that answer.
00:49The UK gave an answer that was sort of weirder than that. They went out. I said, would you like
00:55to help?
00:55They said, we do, but we want to wait until the war is over. This was not in the spirit
00:59of Winston Churchill.
01:02So, yeah, I mean, I'll tell you what. I can only say if there's one word that comes out of
01:08today, it's unification.
01:10I've never seen anything like it. Every one of those countries, they love us. They love each other.
01:16That was tremendous unification. It was a nice thing to say, and it was a very fair question, too.
