00:30Perhaps you haven't played since the Early Access release back in January 2024.
00:34Well, a lot has changed since then, so today I'm going to give you a crash course in all the
00:40major additions and changes to Palworld over the last two years.
00:46As a quick reminder, Palworld launched into Early Access on January 19, 2024.
00:53The game launched with the main archipelago, 137 pals, and a level cap of 50.
01:01Palworld's first update, version 0.2, aptly called Raids, introduced the raid mechanic to Palworld.
01:08Players could summon powerful raid boss pals at a summoning altar in their base, and the first two introduced were
01:14the Bellenoir twins.
01:16This update also brought some quality of life, like training manuals and power fruits, to give players more freedom over
01:22how they level their pals.
01:25Summer 2024, we had Sakurajima, a major update which added the first new zone to Palpagos, Sakurajima Island, as well
01:33as 24 new pals.
01:37On Sakurajima, players met a new faction, the Moonflower Clan, and the first new tower boss, Saya.
01:43This update also introduced hard mode for towers, giving players an extra challenge.
01:49A new raid boss, new resources, and a new style of building material were also introduced.
01:55Sakurajima also added the arena to Palworld, allowing players to face off against their friends.
02:00The first faction stronghold, the Oil Rig, also appeared in the ocean to the east of Palpagos.
02:09At the end of 2024, we had the massive Faebreak update, bringing 24 new pals and a new large landmass,
02:16Faebreak Island, along with a new faction, Faebreak Warriors.
02:20Led by their tower boss, Bjorn, players faced a whole new set of challenges on this island.
02:26This faction set up anti-air turrets all around the island, forcing players to take a different approach than usual.
02:33This update also brought a whole host of new mechanics to the game, such as pal expeditions, a research tree,
02:40and rainbow passive for pals.
02:43Hardcore mode and randomizer mode were also added to give players a new way to play the game.
02:49A new raid boss, new stronghold, and many new resources and weapons also arrived with this update.
02:55Some much needed quality of life in the form of work technique books to raise pal work suitability of your
03:01favorite pals were also added.
03:04March 2025 was version 0.5, the cross-play update.
03:09Full cross-play was added to Palworld across PC, PS5, and Xbox consoles.
03:13A global pal box was also added, allowing players to move their pals between saves.
03:19Dimensional storage, transmog, photo mode, and more were also added in this update.
03:26June 2025 was Tides of Terraria, Palworld's first major collaboration with another game.
03:32Over 20 new pals and a new zone for Terraria Island were added.
03:36A new raid boss, Terraria's Moon Lord, as well as several iconic Terraria mobs, made their way into Palworld.
03:44Fishing, salvaging, and an expanded mission system.
03:47A new Pal Trust mechanic, rewarding players for sticking with their favorite pals.
03:52A chain of missions for Zoe was also added, allowing players to recruit Zoe as a companion NPC.
03:59Enemy faction bases popped up all over the world, and the arena got an upgrade with the Arena Challenge mode.
04:07That brings us up to Winter 2025, Palworld Home Sweet Home.
04:11This update introduced Palworld's second collab, Ultra Kill, as well as improvements to the building system, new building pieces, painting,
04:18and more.
04:19Improved melee combat, and a new raid boss, and the raid arena.
04:23Finally, no more raid bosses smashing up your base.
04:26This update also introduced the Steam Workshop, allowing players on Steam to easily download and use mods in the game.
04:34By this point, the level cap in Palworld had reached 65, and there are now 215 pals in the game.
04:43There is so much more I could talk about, but it would simply take up too much time.
04:48Over the last two years, Palworld has grown alongside its players, and we're so incredibly grateful to you for all
04:55the feedback you've given us up to now.
04:58Palworld 1.0 will be our biggest update ever, and it will bring not only many new pals, weapons and
05:06items, but new areas to explore, complete overhaul of many mechanics, and of course, a few surprises.
05:12We can't wait to see you and your pals when Palworld 1.0 releases on July 10th.
