03:57Last one, into the basket.
04:132, 3, roger!
04:16All right, thank you all for coming.
04:17Thanks again, Roger, the coaches.
04:29What does being legendary mean to you?
04:32Being legendary.
04:34I guess doing something exceptional maybe for a long period of time.
04:39And then also, I feel like using that power to pass it on to other people
04:44and inspiring others to also achieve their greatness.
04:49So I think that that's being legendary.
04:53Amazing.
04:53So the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative and the Wimbledon Learning Program
04:57are celebrating 25 years of inspiring young learners and players this year.
05:02How does it feel to be part of that inspiration today?
05:04I feel very happy to be part of that inspiration program here at Wimbledon
05:08and just giving back to the kids and the community and inspiring
05:14and sort of motivating kids to go out on a tennis court or go out and do sports.
05:20I mean, it's one thing talking about it, it's one thing, you know, hearing about it,
05:25but it's also another thing visually being there and actually being in touch with them
05:29and giving some advice, pictures and videos coming out, other kids seeing it,
05:33other parents seeing it, and actually truly showing also and showcasing
05:36what a great sport tennis is and it's my biggest passion in life, you know, has been tennis.
05:41It's given me everything that I could ever ask for and more.
05:44So I think it's normal for me to come to a place like this and actually also volunteer my time.
05:52Could you share a favorite Wimbledon memory either on or off court for you?
05:58I mean, look, it was an amazing moment when I had the chance to come
06:01and play the Juniors here actually back in 98.
06:03It felt like a big deal for me and sort of a full circle, you know, even though that was
06:09only the beginning,
06:10but at the time it was sort of the end almost of a junior career.
06:14And then coming back and beating Pete Sampras in 2001, who was my hero.
06:18It was my first time on center court and I won 75 in the fifth.
06:22It felt like that was the best that I could ever achieve.
06:25And then two years later I go on and win Wimbledon.
06:27So I've had so many wonderful moments, emotional moments, winning and losing on either side.
06:34I've lost first rounds.
06:35I've won, you know, the championships back to back.
06:38So I've lived all the highs and lows of this incredible tournament.
06:41and I'm happy to be part of the fabric of this incredible event.
06:45Yeah.
06:45And last question.
06:46Your induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame is just seven weeks away.
06:51Yeah.
06:51Can you speak to what it means to you to become a Hall of Famer
06:55and what you're looking forward to when you arrive at 2024?
06:58Yeah, I mean, it's one of the great honors, I believe, to become a Hall of Famer.
07:02I think it's an incredible reminder maybe of what I've done, what I potentially mean to the game,
07:09how small I am in the big scheme of things of the game of tennis
07:14because there's so many incredible legends, you know.
07:17And I think for me personally to have a look back at my career
07:21and being able to thank people that have helped me along the way,
07:24I think it's going to be really special and important to me.
07:26So becoming a Hall of Famer is definitely something that is very, very high
07:31on my all-time favorite list of things that I would have achieved, yeah.
