00:30and there is no doubt that this is a provocative act by China
00:34which does destabilise the region.
00:36This is one of those occasions where we must disagree with this action
00:41and in particular we point out that it is standard procedure
00:49for tests such as this for there to be given 48 hours' notice.
00:54This was not done on this occasion.
00:56China is a good friend of Solomon Islands
00:58but this is not something a friend does.
01:00This is not good in our region.
01:03And as chair of Pacific Islands Forum
01:06I expressed my strong, registered my strong protest
01:10yesterday with the ambassador.
01:14Solomon Islands also lodged a protest note.
01:19But we don't want to see any more countries,
01:22China, America, anybody.
01:23We don't want anybody testing the ICBMs in the Pacific Islands region.
01:27That's the bottom line.
01:30Be our friend but don't threaten us.
01:35It is the fact that this was a test of a nuclear capable
01:42intercontinental ballistic missile fired from a nuclear powered submarine.
01:47That is of real concern because what we need is less nuclear weapons, certainly not more.
02:04And the fact that this test took place yesterday with very little notice is of real concern.
02:14And so we join that is part of the concerns that that we will express is the nature of the
02:23weapon that was tested that has a capacity clearly to reach long range and to cause considerable damage were it
02:35to be weaponized.
02:36Weaponized.
02:47Weaponized.
03:02Weaponized confinement.
03:05and the international cooperation of the international forces.
03:09The American military military is now on the Earth's nuclear mission.
03:13Thank you, President.
03:14The U.S. Secretary of State's question.
03:16The general question is, you can understand the director's office to continue to understand.
03:20I can tell you that this is a serious exercise.
03:25It is not a specific country and aim.
03:27It is already been made to the government and international law.
