00:00But we're leading China by a lot. We're leading everybody. Crypto is the same thing. If we didn't
00:06do it, China would do it. It's a massive industry. And frankly, when I went very pro-crypto, as you
00:13know, Biden was totally against it. But he has no idea what crypto is. He had no idea. He didn't
00:18have a clue. But they were very violently against it. They were putting people in jail. What they
00:23were doing to the crypto was horrible. It's amazing it survived that onslaught. It was a
00:29weaponization of government. So when I went very much for it, and I must have gotten, I think I got
00:36100% of the vote, but what happened is, I think it was 100 million people. That's a big industry.
00:42And that means some pretty good things. But what happened is, Biden then, after he was getting killed, he was
00:48down so much, all of a sudden they became pro-crypto. And their head of the SEC was horrible, unlike
00:56Paul, who's really good.
00:58No, I mean, he's the best man for the job. Everybody wanted him. But he was horrible. What he was
01:04doing to the crypto, they were putting people in jail.
01:07Oh, you know that better than anybody. Good people, great, prestigious people. They were putting them in jail.
01:14And I said, you've got to be kidding. And they were trying to destroy the industry.
01:18Okay, ready? So now I'm killing Biden. I'm winning by so much.
01:22And all of a sudden, he becomes totally pro-crypto. They dropped all investigations of everybody.
01:29They allowed people to come out of jail.
01:32And every time I see a crypto guy that, where they dropped an investigation, I said, you're lucky I'm president.
01:40Because they, you know, I don't know if you know, the Biden administration became totally pro-crypto
01:46that last couple of months. Because they were getting killed.
01:49Because crypto has a tremendous audience.
01:51So, yeah, I'm very much for crypto.
01:53Because it's, I don't, it's not a question of
01:57a personal thing.
01:58I, because I let my kids do whatever the hell they do, they can do.
02:00I don't talk to them, ever talk to them about it.
02:02I'm allowed to, I think.
02:04I'm allowed to. But I don't bother.
02:07Because this is a much higher, this office
02:09is a much higher calling.
02:11So I make, as president,
02:13the president of the United States
02:15get essentially two and a half million dollars
02:17for four years, right?
02:18Spread, wait a minute.
02:20It's spread out over a period of four years.
02:22It's about two and a half million dollars.
02:24I waived my salary.
02:25Now, I figured, because we've had other wealthy presidents,
02:28we've had Kennedy, and we've had
02:31FDR was very wealthy.
02:33Teddy Roosevelt was wealthy.
02:34And one of the wealthiest, believe it or not,
02:36was George Washington,
02:37who wasn't in the White House,
02:39but there are pictures of him surveying this ground.
02:42He's the one that sort of picked the location.
02:44He picked a, I think he made a good choice.
02:45He picked a good location.
02:47But George Washington had two desks
02:49in his pre-White House.
02:52One was, and they were right next to each other.
02:54One was for business,
02:56and one was for the presidency.
02:59He had two desks in the same room.
03:01And so you're allowed to,
03:03but I choose not to.
03:04I don't talk to my kids about, you know, this stuff.
03:07But I will say this.
03:08To me, cryptos are very powerful.
03:12A lot of people are using it.
03:13Bitcoin, they're using it at levels that nobody,
03:16I don't think anybody understands really how powerful.
03:18And if we didn't do it,
03:20China would do it in a minute.
03:21And if we let our guard down on AI,
03:24if I didn't come up with the idea
03:26for electric plants producing plants,
03:28they become a utility.
03:30Basically, these guys producing,
03:32you might as well put them down.
03:33Paul, I think you should mark them down as utilities
03:36because, frankly, in many ways,
03:38I'm more impressed by their electric plants.
03:40And they're building them on top of the buildings,
03:43alongside of the buildings,
03:44stand-alones right next door.
03:46And they're building them on top of the buildings.
03:46And they're building them on top of the buildings.
03:46And they're building them on top of the buildings.
03:47And they're building them on top of the buildings.
