Watch this clip where a family’s safari adventure takes an expensive turn after a mischievous monkey leaps onto their car and begins tearing off parts of the vehicle, leaving everyone stunned as the damage mounts.

Adam Maddock from , Orpington, UK, was driving through the monkey enclosure at Longleat Safari Park with his family when his wife, Rowena, captured the unforgettable moment.

The footage shows a monkey climbing onto the roof before pulling at trim pieces, stripping off parts of the car and causing costly damage.

While the adults watched in disbelief, their daughter found the monkey’s antics absolutely hilarious, laughing throughout the encounter despite the growing repair bill.

Another user commented: "Hahahahaha oh this is why PCB refuses to go in the monkey enclosure. I remember being in his old Shogun and they ripped the tyre cover off the spare wheel and the wipers. My mum had to stop him from getting out and stopping them."
