Number of policemen to be reduced to 3K

National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) chief Anthony Aberin says they will reduce the number of police officers to about 3,000 within the Senate Complex starting July 7, 2026. This comes after Aberin said that the events on the first day of the Senate impeachment trial was 'generally peaceful.'
