Aryna Sabalenka ne remportera pas encore son premier Wimbledon. Ce dimanche 5 juillet, la numéro 1 mondiale s'est inclinée 6-2, 7-6[2] face à Naomi Osaka en huitième de finale du Grand Chelem londonien. Comme après sa défaite en quart de finale de Roland-Garros, Aryna Sabalenka est apparue particulièrement touchée par cette défaite lors de son passage en conférence de presse après sa rencontre face à la Japonaise. Après ce nouveau revers, le meilleur résultat de la Biélorusse à Wimbledon reste une demi-finale, qu'elle a atteinte en 2021, 2023 et 2025.
