00:55What if you didn't have to find a moment?
00:58What if your entire day, could become the moment?
01:01Hello and a very warm welcome.
01:04I'm Hamza Sabir, and on behalf of Mindology, I am truly grateful you're here.
01:09This is not about adding one more thing to your schedule.
01:13This is about transforming the schedule you already have into a practice of profound peace and presence.

01:24who needs it today, and subscribing to Mindology for more pathways to a mindful life.
01:29Now, if you're ready, let's begin.
01:33Please, get as comfortable as you can.
01:35Whether you're at your desk, on a train, or finally at home.
01:40There is no perfect posture.
01:42Simply allow your body to settle.
01:45You can close your eyes, or simply lower your gaze, softening your focus.
01:50And we start not by changing anything, but by noticing.
01:54Notice the weight of your body on the chair.
01:56Notice the feel of your clothes on your skin.
01:59Notice the air temperature on your hands.
02:02And now, bring your attention to your breath.
02:05But I want you to hear this clearly, do not concentrate.
02:09Do not force it.
02:11Do not try to make it deep or perfect.
02:14We are not concentrating.
02:16We are simply becoming aware.
02:19Awareness is gentle, concentration is forceful.
02:23So, with a soft, easy attention, just notice the breath as it is.
02:28Feeling the slight coolness as it enters the nostrils, the gentle warmth as it flows out.
02:33The natural, slight rise and fall of your chest or your belly.
02:37There is no need to relax the whole body.
02:40Just relax the breathing system.
02:42Let it function as it does when you are naturally at ease.
02:46And as you watch, thoughts will come.
02:48Plans for tomorrow, a conversation from earlier, a worry, a memory.
02:53This is not a failure.
02:55This is the mind doing its job.
02:58See each thought not as a distraction, but as a cloud passing in the vast sky of your awareness.
03:04Don't follow the cloud.
03:06Don't fight the cloud.
03:08Simply notice it, and gently, without any judgment, return your soft attention to the anchor of your breath.
03:14The phone may ring in the distance.
03:17The train may hum.
03:19Someone may walk by.
03:21Perfectly okay.
03:23This is part of life.
03:25In this watching, nothing is excluded.
03:29Nothing is rejected.
03:31The noise is not a disturbance to your peace, it is a part of the symphony within which your peace
03:35exists.
03:37Allow it all to be exactly as it is.
03:39And you, simply, are the aware, gentle watcher of it all.
03:44Now, I want you to imagine cultivating a subtle, inner smile.
03:48Not a grin on your face that anyone can see.
03:51But a gentle, delicate smile within your being.
03:55As if a small rose is opening in the very center of your chest, allowing its fragrance of peace to
04:00spread all through you,
04:01down your arms to your fingertips, down through your torso, through your legs, to your toes,
04:06up through your neck, soothing the mind, softening the face, an inner smile, radiating calm.
04:11This is a quality you can return to at any moment today.
04:15In a challenging meeting, before an important call, walking down a hectic hallway.
04:20Just for a second, reconnect with that inner smile.
04:24It is always there.
04:26And as we gently prepare to bring this practice to a close, carry this feeling with you.
04:31This is not a 20-minute escape from your 23 hours and 40 minutes of life.
04:36This is a microcosm of how you can live.
04:39Meditation is not something you do, it is a way of being.
04:43It has to become just like your heartbeat.
04:46Natural.
04:48Constant.
04:49The rhythm of your life.
04:52Whenever you find time waiting for a file to download, before you start your car,
04:56riding an elevator relax the breathing system for just three breaths.
05:00Close your eyes and watch.
05:02Let your whole day become an orchestra of mindful moments.
05:06And as you feel ready, gently bring your awareness back to the room.
05:10Wiggle your fingers and toes.
05:13Notice the sounds around you.
05:15And when you feel ready, you can open your eyes, bringing this new, refreshed, and peaceful awareness back into your
05:21world.
05:22Thank you for gifting yourself this time.
05:25This is Hamza Sabir from Mindology, reminding you that your peace is not a destination.
05:30It is the very path you walk on.
05:33Until next time, be well.
