00:00Hello everyone, I'm Kay, I'm the creative producer at GoodShore, and without proper budget, you're host at GoodChat.
00:31Today we're super lucky to have Ben Taylor and Dominique Rose. Hi, Ben. Hi, Dominique. Hi.
00:38Hello. Would you give us a little lock line of yourself, an elevator pitch of yourself?
00:43My name is Dominique Rose. I grew up in a small farm town, Suffield, Connecticut.
00:49I lived in New York City, did some theater there, and then I drove my little car across the country,
00:55moved here to pursue film and TV.
00:58Hi, I'm Ben Taylor. I'm from Virginia Beach, Virginia. I've been acting for nine years now. I've been in L
01:06.A. for four and a half years.
01:08I've been doing some theater, some short films, and I've recently gotten into verticals in the past eight months.
01:15How did you first start it in the verticals? What was your first experience like?
01:19I actually started friend of a friend, needed some background people on the vertical.
01:25I didn't even know what it was at all. I just wanted to help her out, so I came on
01:29set, and it was a werewolf one, I believe, and I was like, this is so crazy.
01:35I ended up really not even being in it much at all, but I meant, I'm pretty sure the camera
01:41never saw me.
01:43But I was like, this was really fun, and I met so many amazing people that when they ended up
01:48contacting me again for a slightly bigger role, so I was like, yeah, of course I'm going to do this.
01:54How did you get your first lead?
01:55I had auditioned for the supporting character, kind of went through the whole callback situation with that, and I got
02:05that role at 10 a.m. in the morning.
02:07And then at 10 p.m. at night, they're like, never mind, you're going to be the lead.
02:11So it was such a crazy experience to turn that around. I think we had started filming six days later,
02:17and I've done four now.
02:19Have you ever done any villains?
02:23Yes, I have, yeah, which is really fun. I think I've had a good array of people.
02:27I had one girl that started out kind of as a villain, the mean girl, but she ends up coming
02:34around.
02:35But I did this other one that was, I seemed like the innocent best friend, and then I ended up
02:41being the main villain.
02:42It was a witch story, so that one was pure evil, pure evil witch, yeah.
02:49And Ben, tell us a little bit about, what did you find different in verticals when you started?
02:54And it's like, oh, this is a new thing.
02:56My first vertical, I realized it was really different just because of how much you do in a day and
03:00how fast you go.
03:02I remember getting the sides the night before, and my wife and I, Kelsey, we were, she helped me like
03:09go with all the lines.
03:10I was like, do all of this in one day. It's crazy.
03:14How much does it usually take for you guys to remember the lines?
03:18I always look at them the night before to kind of get them in my head, but a lot of
03:22times it's like, what scenery?
03:25Oh, yes. Just to kind of refresh, but yeah.
03:28But how long does it take you to actually memorize it?
03:31Sometimes a couple minutes right before we do it, yeah.
03:34But it's like, you get used to it.
03:36And like I said, I've done it four times now in terms of the lead.
03:39And it reminds me of theater in a sense, where you're like, you're on stage and you can't change it
03:46and you have to just go with it.
03:47And sometimes like that's when the most beautiful things come out.
03:52How do you explain your job to people who have no idea what verticals are?
03:56It's a mini soap opera that you can watch on your phone.
04:00They're on different streaming apps.
04:02People like that.
04:03A lot of people are like, wow, okay.
04:04Vanilla version of describing vertical.
04:08To not make it so extreme.
04:11I got my hair cut recently for a vertical.
04:14The hairstylist was like, are you an actor?
04:17Like, yeah, I'm an actor.
04:18You're like, oh, what do you do?
04:19And I learned the best way to describe it is just Gen Z soap operas.
04:25That's good, Gen Z.
04:27Trying to like say what it actually is, as someone who doesn't understand verticals, it's, you just can't.
04:35They can't cover it sometimes.
04:37I just go, it's like a soap opera.
04:40What's your favorite vertical trope and why?
04:43I love like a romance story.
04:45I love, let's just get married right now and they know they're actually supposed to be with that person
04:52and they might not get along at first, but then they grow to love each other
04:56and then they're hurt because they find out who the other person is.
05:00But then it all comes together in the end.
05:02I like those kind of stories.
05:04You know what I like?
05:05And it's been on like three or four I've done.
05:08Don't know why it's so prevalent.
05:10The idea of like the mean girl hates the lead female and so to like get back at her,
05:20she pushes her in front of a car, but they both go in front of the car.
05:24That's happened, again, like probably four times.
05:26Okay.
05:27It's about that idea of like having such a hate for somebody.
05:30Like I'm going to make both of us get hit by a vehicle and somehow it's going to fix everything.
05:36What do you think is the best part and the most challenging part of shooting a vertical?
05:41I think the best part is meeting so many amazing people.
05:46I've met so many great people and some people have become like my best friends.
05:53So that's my favorite part and just getting to do what you love for eight days straight.
05:58I'm always kind of sad when things are wrapped.
06:01I've worked in restaurants forever and it's way better to work on a set and be around people.
06:09The most challenging, I guess, is, yeah, the amount of lines and how quickly you film everything
06:16and also just like not being so hard on yourself because you might only have one or two takes
06:22and if you just beat yourself up, then you're going to be like falling backwards the rest of the day.
06:28You have to just embrace every moment of it, the good and the bad.
06:33Do you guys ever ask to have one more take for yourself?
06:36Yes, if I can.
06:38And sometimes it might be, we're really busy, we might not have enough time to do that.
06:43But I think sometimes if I'm not really fully feeling it or I want to get the words down a
06:50little better,
06:50I'd be like, can we just do it one more time?
06:53But sometimes the first one is better even because it's just more natural.
06:57And I'm like, can we do one more if I do something else?
06:59That's a good one, yeah.
07:00And usually it's like too much.
07:02I know it won't read, it won't be good.
07:05But I've asked like, can we take into like some stupid little crap?
07:11I don't know before.
07:12Yeah, yeah, yeah.
07:12And I will say too, just to throw it in there real quick,
07:15the toughest thing about verticals to me, I don't know why,
07:20it's all the changing, all the outfits.
07:22Because there's some different scenes.
07:24Yeah.
07:24And I'm always wearing a suit and a tie.
07:26Yeah.
07:26It's like a three-piece suit.
07:27I don't know why, I just like it so much.
07:30Yeah, the guys have it rough.
07:32Mic'd and all that.
07:33Oh, yeah.
07:33And I did one and it was like, again, 12 scenes.
07:37I changed like eight times.
07:39We'll talk a little bit more about We'll Meet Again,
07:43the show that you guys recently wrapped.
07:45What is the most memorable line?
07:48Or like the weirdest?
07:50I think this was a change, but something like,
07:54I've never been drunk before.
07:55It's kind of a crazy line.
07:57I was like, wow, this girl, she's 28.
08:00She's never been drunk before.
08:02So, yeah.
08:04Good for her.
08:04That just describes her character.
08:06She's a very good, well-behaved character.
08:09So maybe that was the craziest line.
08:11It's not that she's never, she's too good a drinker.
08:15She has never been drunk before.
08:16She's just like, too good to drink.
08:18She has kind of hard liquor.
08:19Yeah, yeah.
08:20She drinks all the time.
08:24She's immune, yeah.
08:26Oh, yeah.
08:28This, oh, today's your unlucky day.
08:30Or something like that.
08:31Yeah, it would be like a boom, got him.
08:33Which is like, it's something like,
08:35it could be your lucky day.
08:36Or your unlucky day.
08:39I was like, that writing was airtight.
08:43That was funny, yeah.
08:44I loved it.
08:45That was one of the scenes for it.
08:51Between Nelson and Dorothy,
08:53who's more likely to fall in love
08:55after the first date?
09:03One, two, three.
09:07Okay.
09:08Yeah.
09:09Bye.
09:10Like, how's up?
09:11He like, really waits for her for a long time.
09:13Yeah, they like, met as like,
09:15six-year-old or something.
09:16And then, again, at 28,
09:18he's still like,
09:19my fish necklace.
09:20I gotta meet her again.
09:22Which I still have.
09:25Yeah, and the umbrella,
09:26like, very, very romantic.
09:28I have an umbrella.
09:29It becomes an ENT for her.
09:31Yeah, he does a lot.
09:32Yeah.
09:33I have the umbrella in a glass case, too.
09:35Yeah.
09:36But then also use it
09:37for like, the smell.
09:40So it's like, it's,
09:41care for it.
09:42But not that much.
09:43But also...
09:44So in utilitarian use.
09:45Takes it out of everyone.
09:47Yeah.
09:48Give it some air.
09:49Okay, next one.
09:51Between Dorothy and Allison,
09:53who would make the first move?
09:55One, two, three.
09:59Oh, okay.
10:00Yeah.
10:00I think, I think I do.
10:02You did make the first move.
10:03There's like, a very
10:06dramatic scene
10:07where I'm rescued.
10:08And then I decide to
10:11make the first move.
10:12Almost like,
10:13thank you.
10:13Do you remember?
10:14I'm like,
10:16what's the entire show right now?
10:17It was with the,
10:18the car in the snow.
10:20Oh, yes.
10:21Yeah.
10:22I think that was the first one.
10:23Yeah.
10:24Yeah.
10:24And then that's when she was drinking.
10:26She had never been drunk before.
10:28Oh, Lord.
10:29Yeah.
10:30There's a lot of, you know,
10:32there's a lot of vertical stuff.
10:33Between Dorothy and Allison,
10:35who is more likely
10:35to fart in an elevator?
10:39One,
10:40two,
10:41three.
10:42It's gonna go that way.
10:43I feel like that.
10:44I knew that was gonna be versus.
10:46Please elaborate.
10:47Dorothy doesn't fart.
10:51No,
10:52I don't know.
10:54I don't know.
10:55I think that explains it.
10:56I just,
10:56I was embarrassed, so.
10:57Vertical girls,
10:58vertical.
10:59They don't fart.
11:01Don't fart.
11:02They're princesses.
11:03They don't even know what that is.
11:04Yeah,
11:04they don't have that body.
11:05No,
11:06no,
11:07absolutely not.
11:07Okay,
11:08great.
11:08All right.
11:09Wait,
11:09why are you?
11:10I feel like he's just too restrained,
11:12keeping it all in.
11:13He's too emotionally,
11:15physically clothed off.
11:16Everything clothed off.
11:17Everything clothed off.
11:18He has to fart,
11:19he just goes back into his body.
11:21He's not the appearance.
11:22He's a billionaire.
11:23They don't fart either.
11:24Nobody farts in a particular way.
11:26Billionaires fart.
11:26Yeah,
11:26it doesn't exist.
11:28Who's more likely to make friends
11:30with a random stranger at a bar?
11:33One,
11:34two,
11:35three.
11:36Oh,
11:38interesting.
11:38Yeah,
11:39I was going back and forth a little bit,
11:41but I think,
11:43I think Nelson's a charismatic guy.
11:46He's got his assistant,
11:48his buddy,
11:48the whole time.
11:50I don't think he is.
11:53Okay,
11:54I think he's a little freak.
11:55Colivory.
11:56He is,
11:57but
11:59Dorothy loves him,
12:00so.
12:01Yeah,
12:01I don't think she's more of like an open person,
12:04though.
12:04Again,
12:05how to,
12:05how to ex-boyfriend.
12:07Nelson just feels more about the,
12:09about the damn umbrella.
12:11Yeah,
12:11maybe he doesn't.
12:12Maybe.
12:12Yeah.
12:13And like,
12:14scientist,
12:15like very,
12:16he's in your head.
12:17Yeah.
12:18Oh,
12:19scientist.
12:20Or doctor.
12:20Doctor,
12:21E.M.T.
12:22Ear,
12:22nose,
12:23and throat.
12:23Yeah.
12:25Okay.
12:26Next one.
12:28Who's more likely to survive a zombie apocalypse?
12:32And three,
12:33two,
12:34one.
12:35Uh,
12:36yeah,
12:37probably.
12:38Yeah.
12:38I have to be saved a lot
12:40by Mr. Nelson.
12:42But,
12:43Dorothy would put up a fight.
12:45She would.
12:46Yeah.
12:47She does,
12:48she does fight back a lot,
12:49but she might need a little extra help.
12:52Yeah.
12:53Between Dorothy and Nelson,
12:55who's more likely to win a bar fight?
12:57Three,
12:58two,
12:59one.
13:01There you go.
13:03I'd like to think,
13:04yet again,
13:05Dorothy would maybe get involved in one,
13:09but,
13:09I don't know if she would.
13:12She would need some help.
13:13She needs backup.
13:14She doesn't beat up three people,
13:18and punches a foreign guy.
13:20Yeah.
13:21Don't you like kick a trash can or something?
13:24As opposed to,
13:24but they changed it,
13:26and I pick it up,
13:27and I'm like,
13:28ah!
13:28Oh, yes!
13:29I do remember that.
13:30Yeah.
13:30So he's useful,
13:32but though...
13:32Always to protect Dorothy.
13:36Yes.
13:36Or just for fun.
13:38He's just a psycho.
13:39He has all these ladies that are,
13:41you know,
13:41and all this,
13:42they're so quick to anger,
13:44and to violence.
13:46Yeah.
13:46I just did one,
13:48one Kelsey that I rapped,
13:51and I also had an evil character,
13:53and the lead male,
13:54he's a good guy.
13:56I think he punched me in the face,
14:00I mean,
14:01genuinely,
14:0220 times.
14:03Wow.
14:04I was on the ground twice,
14:06and he's like,
14:07freaking pounding me.
14:08That's right.
14:09Wow.
14:10And you're that guy.
14:11Yeah,
14:11I deserve it all.
14:14I'm like a mean person,
14:15but he was like so ranged to attack.
14:18Oh, yeah.
14:18I think I always,
14:19if I'm going to lead,
14:20I'm always punching somebody,
14:22or attacking somebody.
14:23That's so fun.
14:25Yeah,
14:25let's keep the punches,
14:27let's get more and more punches in there.
14:29I call some of my episodes
14:30a slap fest.
14:33Yeah.
14:34We need to slap fest episodes.
14:36Yeah.
14:37Between Dorothy and Nelson,
14:38who's more likely to get cold feet
14:40at the night?
14:41Three,
14:42three,
14:42two,
14:43one.
14:46I don't know why.
14:49I mean,
14:49that was just
14:50romantic.
14:51I mean,
14:51he was waiting for it,
14:53like,
14:5420 plus years or something.
14:56I think,
14:57yeah,
14:57I think he'd be a rock and roll.
14:59Yeah,
14:59I think Dorothy had a lot going on in her life.
15:03Like,
15:03she had her mom was in a coma
15:04for 20 years,
15:07you know,
15:07so I think she'd be a little,
15:09like,
15:10yeah,
15:10she might be going through it too much
15:15to
15:17make that come.
15:18Yeah.
15:19Okay.
15:19And she's been hurt before,
15:21so
15:22I think some cold feet there.
15:24There's been a lot of,
15:26you know,
15:27trials and regulations.
15:29Yeah,
15:29the ex-boyfriends.
15:29Yeah, the ex-boyfriends.
15:30And even,
15:31you know,
15:31they have their things too,
15:33so.
15:33Yeah.
15:34That's a fun,
15:35that's a fun game for prep.
15:37Like,
15:38we should,
15:38we should all do this game,
15:39crafting for characters.
15:41Oh, yeah.
15:41It actually gets you a good,
15:42like,
15:42idea of who the character is.
15:43I think I'm going to learn more about him,
15:45right now,
15:46than I did on set.
15:48There's like,
15:48you know,
15:48these questions through.
15:49Yeah.
15:50Yeah,
15:50it's making me really think,
15:51I'm like,
15:52I don't know if I thought about that before.
15:54I,
15:54and I probably would have,
15:56added some layers.
15:58Between Dorothy and Nelson,
15:59who would be going to,
16:00PT and Bings.
16:02Three,
16:03two,
16:04one.
16:07Oh,
16:08okay.
16:08We both think very highly of,
16:10your character.
16:11Yeah,
16:12I actually,
16:13let's do,
16:13I think they,
16:14I would say both.
16:15Yeah.
16:16I think hers would be more like,
16:18out of luck with a kid.
16:20Like,
16:20because she's just such a,
16:21control.
16:22I,
16:22I don't,
16:23I really don't like,
16:24any character playing,
16:26realizing,
16:26she's just a controlling person.
16:28Yeah.
16:29And it'd be even much more,
16:29what's going on,
16:30what's going on,
16:30what's happening.
16:31I think you're very loving,
16:32towards Dorothy.
16:33If anything,
16:34I think you might be,
16:36a lot more controlling,
16:38yeah,
16:39you know,
16:39you really love her.
16:41So.
16:42If you were to give,
16:43Nelson some life,
16:44suggestion,
16:46what would it be?
16:47Take it easy.
16:48Okay.
16:49Go breath,
16:49do some meditation,
16:50do some yoga,
16:51man.
16:51Have a full shower.
16:53Yeah.
16:53Oh my gosh.
16:54Ice,
16:55ice baths.
16:56Ice baths.
16:57Yeah.
16:58Every morning,
16:59three minutes leaves,
17:00you know,
17:00for one degree Celsius.
17:02Earth,
17:03your head.
17:03Everything needs that.
17:04He needs a lot.
17:05Yeah.
17:05What about you?
17:06I just thought,
17:08I was thinking about it in my head,
17:10Carrie Pepper's for a girl,
17:11like,
17:12yeah,
17:12she gets in a lot of predicaments,
17:15so that there's,
17:15you know,
17:16some thugs,
17:16assassins,
17:18some bar patrons.
17:19It's like,
17:20the stepsister,
17:22stepmom,
17:22you know,
17:23she just needs to
17:24get rid of them.
17:26Life doesn't fit
17:26every group of female.
17:28I'm just going to have
17:29some pepper spray.
17:31Because you're fighting classes.
17:33Yeah.
17:34I'm a like lord.
17:36Cool.
17:37All right.
17:37Let's move on
17:39to our next game
17:40of Troop or Drinks.
17:47Now we're going to do
17:49some Troop or Drinks
17:50questions
17:50for Dominic
17:52and Ben.
17:54First of all,
17:55how many vertical weddings
17:56have you had?
17:58Loser drinks.
18:02There it is.
18:03Uh-oh.
18:05Is that me?
18:06Do I lose?
18:07That's you.
18:07That's you, girl.
18:08Because I
18:09answered too slow.
18:10All right,
18:11so I had less.
18:11You had less.
18:13Got it quicker.
18:14Yeah, I know.
18:15I've only been in one
18:16wedding dress,
18:17but it was beautiful.
18:17I loved it.
18:20How many vertical
18:21babies have you had?
18:22All right,
18:23was this being pregnant yet?
18:24Yeah.
18:25Okay.
18:26Yeah.
18:26I'm like,
18:27wow,
18:27I think I've been like,
18:28pregnant in almost
18:29all of them.
18:30I've had five.
18:31Mm-hmm.
18:32Oh,
18:32and five.
18:33Cheers.
18:34Cheers, brother.
18:36Yeah,
18:37I was going back
18:38and being like,
18:39well,
18:39I was pregnant,
18:40now I'm pregnant.
18:41This one is pregnant.
18:41How do you feel
18:42about playing parents
18:43even though,
18:45you know,
18:46you got your baby?
18:47I don't mind it.
18:48Yeah?
18:49Yeah.
18:49Do you like it?
18:50Do you like the practice?
18:52It is fun
18:53with the,
18:53sometimes with the
18:54child actors on set.
18:55Yeah.
18:55When Kelsey and I did,
18:57we had a
18:58child actor,
18:59Luca,
18:59and he was a very sweet kid.
19:01He actually played
19:02the young version of me too
19:03in the mirror game.
19:05Does he look like you?
19:06Okay.
19:07He has brown hair.
19:08Okay,
19:09brown hair.
19:09Yeah.
19:09But he was your kid
19:11and then also
19:12then they need you.
19:13Yeah.
19:13So they're,
19:14they're positive.
19:15There's really something
19:16there.
19:17Yeah,
19:17something.
19:17Even like,
19:18Laura played my mother
19:19three times.
19:20Yeah.
19:20I don't know
19:21if we really look alike,
19:22but there's something
19:23if the client sees,
19:24perhaps they're actually
19:25like,
19:25you guys look similar.
19:27Right.
19:27Yeah.
19:27Right, right, right.
19:28Yes,
19:29what about you?
19:29What's it like
19:30to be a mom,
19:31a vertical mom?
19:32I know,
19:32I actually don't know
19:33if I've ever
19:34like,
19:35held a child.
19:36I don't even have a fake one,
19:37but I've had,
19:37I've either had it
19:39or I've had like
19:40the pregnant belly
19:40and the pregnant belly
19:41is always fun to have.
19:43Like,
19:43wow,
19:44this is so weird
19:44to see myself like this.
19:47Yeah,
19:47it's like the,
19:48oh my God,
19:49I'm pregnant,
19:49but then it's,
19:50I'm always happy about it.
19:52And I think maybe
19:53I'd feel that way.
19:54Of pregnancies,
19:55I've had technically seven,
19:58but two have been
20:00miscarriages.
20:01Okay.
20:03Okay.
20:05We have a winner.
20:06That counts.
20:07who?
20:09No.
20:11Nine.
20:12Four have been miscarriages.
20:14Ooh.
20:15Yeah,
20:15that's sad.
20:16Well,
20:17question is,
20:17were they really pregnant
20:19or were they faking pregnancy
20:20so that they get to you?
20:22Oh,
20:22no,
20:22they're really pregnant.
20:23Okay.
20:24And I,
20:25two,
20:25I caused.
20:26Was it a test and all that?
20:28Was it a DNA test?
20:29I think it was just,
20:30in the script,
20:31it was like,
20:32yes,
20:32these are your kids.
20:33For sure,
20:33your kid.
20:34Two were miscarriages,
20:36one,
20:37I believe,
20:38was an abortion.
20:39That's right.
20:40Okay,
20:40so I still have had nine.
20:42So one of the miscarriages
20:43wasn't my fault.
20:45The other one was,
20:46she was pushed
20:46in front of a car
20:47by the evil woman
20:50and that baby
20:52did not make it through.
20:53Yeah.
20:54The heart goes to me.
20:56There's more babies.
20:57Yeah.
20:58I know.
21:00Yeah.
21:01Or they are born,
21:02but never seen.
21:03They're just always around.
21:04I have like,
21:05two fake babies,
21:06I think.
21:07A fake baby?
21:08One of my,
21:08there was a,
21:09like,
21:09from the last one.
21:10You're holding a fake baby?
21:11Yeah,
21:12one never came out,
21:13um,
21:16but in the last scene,
21:17I hold a fake baby.
21:19I remember the one
21:20that I did before with you,
21:22not this one,
21:23but the one before,
21:24um,
21:25we had the wedding,
21:27but the baby wasn't
21:29at the wedding.
21:30I was like,
21:30where is the baby?
21:31And it was too little.
21:32It was his eyes on it.
21:33Too little.
21:34I know.
21:35The baby was born
21:36before the wedding,
21:37but wasn't present
21:38at the baby.
21:38Yeah.
21:39And I was just like,
21:40where are you?
21:41Yeah,
21:42I was like,
21:43he's running through
21:43a lot of bad porn.
21:44Yeah.
21:45I'm knocking back
21:45some brewskis.
21:46Take a nutshell.
21:49If you have to pick
21:50one vertical actor
21:51to go on a date with,
21:52who would it be?
21:53And why?
21:54Wait,
21:55yours would be Ian.
21:55Why would he?
21:57He's the best woman
21:58in the entire world.
21:59You're taking a drink
22:00with this one?
22:01Oh,
22:01okay,
22:02okay.
22:03Um,
22:03but,
22:03but is there someone?
22:05Is there someone?
22:06No,
22:07I'm wearing it.
22:08Okay,
22:09okay.
22:10Foreign.
22:10Next one.
22:11Next one.
22:12If you would give
22:13an IMDb review
22:14of your worst vertical,
22:17what would it be?
22:19With saying the name.
22:20Without saying the name of it.
22:23Or you'd say that the weekend.
22:24Like what you would say about it.
22:26Yes.
22:26What you would warn people
22:27about it.
22:29He's a psycho.
22:30He has flat hair.
22:32He has a horrible
22:33five o'clock shadow.
22:35He has sex with me twice.
22:36They fall in love.
22:37Two thumbs down.
22:40Thanks for the reminder.
22:43Just disclaimer
22:44in the first episode
22:45on like rolling.
22:47Just to know
22:47he's not going to get better.
22:49Yeah.
22:49And the official
22:49will not grow at all.
22:51That's going to stay
22:52patchy and grows.
22:53There's no character arc
22:54in there.
22:55No.
22:55He just stays that way.
22:56And Jesus would give
22:57you the edge.
22:57He's like,
22:57no,
22:58you're a good guy.
22:58But yeah.
23:01I feel like I've been
23:02mostly lucky.
23:03Mine haven't been
23:04too extreme.
23:07In ways, yes.
23:08But not in ways
23:09that I completely dislike.
23:11You'll have
23:13no idea
23:14what's going on.
23:15You have to accept that.
23:17I think
23:17would be my
23:18review of that.
23:20One more time.
23:23We'll do that one more time.
23:25I do love that.
23:26You'll have no idea
23:27what's going on.
23:29You have to accept that.
23:31Great.
23:32Truth or Drinks,
23:33tell us about
23:34your first kiss
23:35on the vertical.
23:36I remember mine
23:37was like
23:39kind of the first time
23:41I ever had to really
23:43have like a big
23:44kiss with
23:45on screen.
23:46So it was a little
23:47nerve wracking.
23:48I remember like,
23:49you know,
23:49they're like,
23:50shut down the set.
23:51You know,
23:51everybody's just like
23:52throwing a couple
23:53people in the room.
23:55And I'm like,
23:56how do you even
23:57go into that?
23:58You know,
23:59it's very weird.
24:00So you're just like,
24:00I just got to go for it.
24:02And the guy was
24:03very,
24:03very nice.
24:04But so it felt
24:05comfortable.
24:06Yeah.
24:06Which I've been
24:07really lucky.
24:08All my co-stars
24:09have been really,
24:10really great.
24:11So that's always
24:12a good thing.
24:13Makes it easier.
24:15It's for you too.
24:16Who was your favorite
24:17vertical husband
24:18slash wife?
24:20Truth or drinks?
24:22No drinks,
24:22but it's fun.
24:23Must be true.
24:24Must be true.
24:26It's so hard.
24:27Like I said,
24:28I've had so many
24:29great people
24:30that I've been
24:31paired with.
24:32I love this one.
24:34Her name's Skylar Fast.
24:36It's her real name.
24:37She's one of my best
24:38friends just because
24:39we did a vertical
24:40together.
24:40And it was
24:41like a same-sex couple.
24:43So I feel like
24:44she was,
24:45yeah,
24:45like started out
24:46like as that
24:46we were best friends
24:47and then turned
24:48into this romance
24:50and then it flashes
24:52forward five years
24:53later and we're
24:53having our
24:55engagement party.
24:55Wow.
24:56So it's a
24:56it's a lesbian show?
24:57Or yeah,
24:58so I wasn't the lead
25:00in that one.
25:00It was like
25:01kind of the subplot.
25:02Oh, okay.
25:03It's really sweet
25:04and we have gotten
25:06a lot of
25:06like little reviews
25:08about that being
25:09like people's
25:10like favorite part
25:11which makes us
25:12feel good.
25:13Yeah,
25:14but yeah,
25:15we have a good
25:15connection and
25:16yeah,
25:16we're still friends
25:17to this day.
25:18We're gonna hang
25:19out like Saturday.
25:21She goes down
25:22the street from me
25:23so yeah,
25:24I really enjoyed
25:25that one.
25:25How are you?
25:26Yeah,
25:28we are branching
25:29out too.
25:30Yeah,
25:30I think it's great.
25:31All kinds of things.
25:31Great,
25:32yeah,
25:32more diversity.
25:33Yeah.
25:33Yeah.
25:34I just feel like
25:35I've been really
25:36lucky that we
25:37always like,
25:38like we were saying,
25:39it's always like
25:39a weird situation
25:40that you have to
25:41like be romantic
25:42with somebody
25:42who's not your partner
25:43but I feel like
25:45if you like establish
25:46a good friendship
25:47or a rapport
25:48it makes it a lot easier
25:49and it makes it fun.
25:50Yeah.
