00:05boat capsized off the coast of Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, on Friday night.
00:11Kuala Terengganu Police Chief ACP Azli Mohamed Noor said the incident occurred about nine
00:17nautical miles off Dataran Kuala Nerus at around 9 p.m. He said the deceased was identified as
00:2537-year-old crew member Ahmad Nasaruddin Mohamed Jalil, while three participants were injured.
00:32He added that 39-year-old boat operator Mohamed Awais Sa'ari and seven other participants
00:38survived the incident. All the victims were brought ashore at Tokbatin Jetty at about 10 p.m.
00:45The three injured participants were taken to hospital for treatment while the deceased was
00:50sent for a post-mortem examination. Investigations into the cause of the incident are ongoing.
