00:29when everybody is playing you're working and that like gets dropped at the door when we come
00:34to the Lutheran it just kind of brings out the romance in us we definitely need a home that has
00:41this type of view this is incredible our weddings can be 300 people so we're around a lot of people
00:46all the time when we got here we were the only two people on the beach it was just so
00:51much peace we
00:51found here we really need a place that we could just breathe yeah and really enjoy one another
00:57and we can work on our relationship and we could reconnect let's find a house
01:26this is like my favorite view of here this is amazing I love how you can see both the
01:31Caribbean and the Atlantic side yeah the differences in blues are crazy it's just insane
01:37looking we love Eleuthera we didn't want to go where there were big resorts we really like the
01:42seclusion here you can surf on the Atlantic side it's very wavy and then the other side is calm you

01:48float for hours the wildlife here is incredible just so many things to do besides the beach I can't
01:55believe we get to do this how awesome and we get to do it together yeah this is something that

02:01really want to do and we're gonna make it happen money is a concern we have a mortgage on our

02:06Houston we're gonna probably have a second mortgage here what's your budget $750,000 a million yes really

02:50place what I call home the Bahamas is made up of 700 islands and keys and today I'm in Eleuthera

02:57Nassau which is our capital and Eleuthera is 110 miles long and two miles wide there's over 125 beaches on

03:12yes we are four children later oh my we've been working so hard so we're so ready to like settle
03:21down here and see what you have for us is the seclusion and privacy still important for you guys

03:32ocean view all right half the seawater okay and with a pool and with a pool listen you're in paradise
03:40guys are you really going to use a pool absolutely yeah yes she's got to have the pool what about

03:47budget so she's worked me up to a million that's the top of my budget and no wiggle room at

03:54yeah maybe she already wheeled me up to a million all right and I'm going to see what properties I
04:00could come up with awesome thank you thank you the real estate market in Eleuthera is heating up you
04:06have a lot of buyers a lot of celebrities but limited inventory that means everything is going
04:11through the roof right now that one million dollars what they see as their ideal home is going to be

04:16hard to find so guys this house is going to blow you away I'm just here to show you what

04:28looks like different price points you can see all the way through the yeah this one is actually a
04:34three-bedroom three and a half bath and a separate cottage wow all your non-negotiables are in this on

04:47market is like it's gonna be challenging trying to put those non-negotiables in one property well

05:04restaurants are yes and then like where this beautiful house is located like it's really
05:08residential here on this left side you have a exclusive beach so the house where I'm taking
05:13you that would actually be only for this community nice and it does have a pool oh on the market

07:26can't see the ocean though that's yeah he said from the second floor we could see it okay let's go

07:31it this is a large room I love the vaulted ceilings yeah they've got four beds up here it's good

07:38kids yeah they have a whole nother living area okay you got oh look there's my view not what I

07:45hoping for we could make that a larger window maybe sounds like more money how was it tell me
07:51good that's good I think one of my main concerns is the road noise and then the small little window
07:57to see the ocean was just hard for me we're at 1.2 yeah over budget and it doesn't check

08:03I just don't think it's the one for us don't knock this one off your list just yet remember this
08:08market is very limited right now I was trying to fit all those non-negotiables into this property
08:13I know we fell short not having that exact view that's why I tried to include that golf cart and
08:18you have that private beach right up the road trying my best here you're busting my balls a little
08:23bit well we're gonna bust them a little bit more I believe you can find the house for us on

08:46all right this is a little more stressful for me because the costs are not what I anticipated I knew
08:51things close to the beach are high but this is a 1.2 million dollar house without a great beach

08:57I hear road noise and that's almost heartbreaking because we have our hearts set on this island in
09:02this place yeah I think it's a little discouraging just to see how expensive this place is and kind
09:08of the wish list that we have may not actually happen for us with the price point that we're at
09:21all right so preacher's cave this is where Luther was founded really yeah there's a shipwreck out
09:28there came over here and had to live in this cave well I'm not living in a cave we've been

09:34years now we work together we're always together we're pretty inseparable we're literally we're
09:39always touching it's a good sign for our marriage wow oh look at that I love how this island is

09:46not touristy at all there's no one all right you're gonna try to get up here you know we'll be

09:51here no we are not doing anything like that in this case we have a marriage ministry and we we

09:58about sex to people that are about to get married and how important for us it's a really important part
10:03of our marriage what do you think the settlers did vacationing too brings it out even more
10:08there's a lot of freedom in Eleuthera this is cool this is awesome sometimes we're the only
10:13people on the beach you know things happen oh my all right let's go to the beach
10:28I can't wait to show you this house we ventured not into current settlement this is like a little
10:34village town only residential very secluded as you can see it's bush and undeveloped land on the left
10:40and right sides of us so you got that privacy you got the seclusion we want yeah you could go

10:46that beach the house is a three-bedroom two-bath this would be the Caribbean side so you have a
10:53gorgeous beach at the backyard awesome and Shawn guess what the price is please tell me it's in our
10:58range at the top of your budget though one million dollars okay now you're speaking my language does
11:04it have a pool no pool but Lauren come on who needs a pool when you have the beach well

12:28view for sure yes it is wow I love being married to you I could do this for the rest

13:18dishwasher maybe too so now we're doing renovations I think I'm stressed because I want to spend a lot

14:11is in our price range if I can get her not to have to have new furniture at least for

14:32like it's an incredible house there's a few things for me she has particular taste all right is this

15:39always about work and doing and going however I have found the perfect spot that we can open a
15:45wedding venue here no this is our vacation spot oh no but it's so pretty at least give me a

16:00I am so excited we're gonna be headed for rainbow bay settlement for residential community very
16:08private still developing okay it's actually gonna be the atlantic side you're gonna have some nice views
16:14so well you got a rocky road here yeah super rocky road but that adds to the seclusion and the
16:20remoteness
16:21of this house guys you're gonna fall in love so this home sits on a 10 000 square feet lot
16:26you have
16:26an infinity pool that's heated and you could chill it oh wow this property actually just came on the
16:33market it's not perfect what is that it is being sold as is oh no oh come on give it
16:40give it some
16:41thought this is your construction zone here you still have some work to do yeah I see that but listen
16:48look past that everything you see here is only cosmetic and it's landscaping the house and the
16:53pool are done okay on the main house you have a two bedroom three bath and you have a beautiful
16:58one bedroom one bath cottage which adds a little bit of rental income for you so extra privacy for
17:03guests yeah and the entire property is 980 000 so you got some wiggle room there you got me under
17:09budget with the construction yes okay how I see it you got a little bit of shrubs and dirt you
17:15have to
17:15move around mm-hmm they're gonna get this property at somewhat of a steal the biggest challenge is
17:21seeing past the construction we're just gonna have to really fix this up for it to be as beautiful as
17:27the other properties you could always go at your own pace but now we have to work when we're here
17:32but we have a view it is you have a pool yes inside is amazing go on up and check

20:00that scares us a little bit because we do construction in houston and it's terrible there
20:05much less being on an island where it's hard to get things and what it's going to cost obviously
20:08and how much we're going to have to do so i know we have a lot to discuss yes yeah

20:14it's a really big decision a really big investment and if this is the wrong decision
20:19it's pretty tough to recover from so we want to make the right choice

20:33we chose the blue ocean view house this house is everything we hoped it would be we know we made

20:40right decision the yellow house didn't have a view that for me was the deal breaker and it was sitting
20:45at 1.2 over budget yeah the greenhouse had the view yeah like it was phenomenal yeah but it didn't

20:52a pool and we would have to change the furniture oh i need my wine the construction it's actually not

20:59stressful as what we thought it was going to be it's fun work because it's something that we are in

21:04with we can actually design our own landscape which is fun for us well we could rent a boat
21:11we feel very blessed to be here just beyond blessed being here is very romantic for us
21:18it rejuvenates us and gets us ready to go back to houston and work on our businesses it makes us
21:25better as lovers as friends it's just done incredibly uh great things for us
