00:00How old was Harry Kane when you first met him then?
00:03I think he was six at the time, I think he was six or seven.
00:07He'd come over, we had trials and he'd come over to the team
00:14and decided, I've said this story many times,
00:18he volunteered to go in goal, he'd done very well in goal
00:22and I thought, great, we've got a goalkeeper.
00:27Yeah, exactly that.
00:28And then he's one of his friends, mother's come up to me
00:34and me, Dave, he's not a goalkeeper, he plays on pitch
00:37and he went on pitch and the rest, as I say, is history.
00:41Was it abundantly obvious, Dave, that he was a cut above the other players,
00:47whether he played in goal or played up front?
00:50He was very, very good.
00:52I wouldn't say it was blatantly obvious because he's only young,
00:58but the great thing about Harry, even when at a very young age,
01:02was his belief in himself and his willingness to learn
01:05and the fact that he didn't care if he missed,
01:08he showed the resilience at a very early age to overcome things,
01:12which has stood him in good stead ever since.
01:14Let's go, deep conversing,
01:16What's going on?
01:18You're welcome.
01:19We're welcome.
