God Has NOT Forgotten You! Your Life Still Has Purpose | Jeremiah 29:11

Have you ever felt stuck while everyone else seems to be moving forward? Today’s powerful message is a reminder that God has not forgotten you. Your life still carries divine purpose — even when dreams have faded, doors have closed, and life looks nothing like you expected.

In this encouraging devotional, we dive deep into Jeremiah 29:11 — one of the most beloved Bible verses — and explore its true context for people who felt forgotten and hopeless. Discover how God’s purpose is bigger than your current season, and how He uses ordinary, imperfect people (just like Moses, David, and Peter) for His glory.

Whether your purpose looks like raising your children with love, encouraging others in secret, or staying faithful in hard times — it matters to God. Your mistakes don’t cancel His plans. This chapter is not your final chapter.

🙏 Pray with me at the end and let faith rise in your heart again.

00:00Have you ever felt stuck, like everyone else is moving forward while you're standing still?
00:05Today, I want to remind you that God has not forgotten you. Your life still has purpose.
00:11Today, we're talking about purpose. Not worldly success, not popularity, but God-given purpose.
00:19Many people feel discouraged because life didn't go the way they expected.
00:23Dreams changed, doors closed, plans failed, but God's purpose is never destroyed by disappointment.
00:30Let's read today's scripture together.
00:34Jeremiah 29.11
00:36For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm
00:42you, plans to give you hope and a future.
00:45Jeremiah 29.11 is one of the most quoted verses in the Bible, but many people forget the context.
00:52God spoke those words to people living in hardship, people in uncertainty, people who felt forgotten.
01:00And yet God still said, I know the plans I have for you.
01:06That means your current season is not the end of your story.
01:09God still has plans, still has purpose, still has direction for your life.
01:17Sometimes we think purpose only means something big or public.
01:20But purpose can look like raising your children with love, encouraging someone who feels hopeless,
01:28remaining faithful during difficult seasons, serving quietly when nobody notices.
01:35God values faithfulness more than fame.
01:39You do not need to compare your journey to anyone else.
01:43God's calling for your life is unique.
01:46The enemy wants you to believe you were too late, too broken, too weak, too unqualified.
01:55But throughout scripture, God used imperfect people.
02:00Moses doubted.
02:01David failed.
02:03Peter denied Jesus.
02:05Yet God still used them powerfully.
02:11If you feel stuck today, remember, God is still writing your story.
02:16This chapter is not the final chapter.
02:18Your future still contains healing, growth, purpose, restoration, opportunities, breakthroughs.
02:27Keep walking with God.
02:28He knows exactly where he is leading you.
02:31Pray with me.
02:32Lord, thank you that my life has purpose.
02:35Even when I feel lost or discouraged, remind me that you are still guiding my future.
02:41Help me trust your plans over my fears.
02:44Use my life for your glory.
02:47In Jesus' name, amen.
02:49If you believe God still has a purpose for your life, comment, God is not finished with me.
02:56And share this devotional with someone who needs encouragement today.
