00:08Super listened to Neil Diamond growing up. He was my dad's favorite singer of all time.
00:12We literally had a poster of Neil Diamond in our garage growing up.
00:16So those songs were just in my bones growing up.
00:19And so I knew every song before this was ever even a project.
00:22And I got to introduce my dad to Neil Diamond on opening night on Broadway.
00:33I think a lot of fans come to this show anticipating having a great musical night.
00:39Everybody loves Neil Diamond's music and are connected to it.
00:43And that the show offers in spades.
00:46But I think what people don't anticipate is having an emotionally fulfilling night.
00:50The show addresses Neil's life and a lot of the information about his life that most people don't know.
00:55And the challenges that he underwent.
00:57And it's very creatively framed in the way that the show is performed and the way the story is framed.
01:06So I think people go home with a much more emotionally fulfilling evening than they anticipated.
01:10But also having a great time with all the music.

01:26Which is this great gospel number that opens the second act.
01:29He's finally come into his power.
01:31And it's just the full band is all over the stage.
01:33And he's in, you know, sequins and just kind of at the height of his glory.
