10:38Horror and science fiction collided on the American frontiers in these pulp comics of yesteryear, and they were a breeding
10:44ground for wacky creativity, weirdness, and brilliance.
10:48Your look must draw inspiration from this same weird wild world, and it must contain both western-themed elements as
10:54well as horror and science fiction tones.
10:57We also want to see a little panache in your performance.
11:01It's one thing to design and build a look, but it's another thing to sell it on the stage.
11:05And if you're going to win this competition, you're going to have to do both, and do them both well.
11:12The winner of the challenge will receive a $1,000 shopping spree to Fright Rats.

14:54so i'm really excited for the wild west theme and this is my attempt at remaking an iconic mugler
15:00outfit and i've used spandex but i knew that it wasn't going to be like enough on its own so
15:05i had
15:05to line everything with neoprene and it's been very labor-intensive but like so very worth it
15:12my concept basically is like a brothel worker hybrid pig lady basically i asked myself if i was
15:19back then in the weird wild west what would i be doing and hooking so i drew inspiration from the
15:25girls in the brothels i also have this character that i do she's an iconic pig character i constructed
15:31and i wanted to push myself to bring her to life more so my inspiration for weird wild west is
15:38going
15:38to be this like really nasty alien bounty hunter like very post-human just the world is absolute
15:46dust it's going to be a lot of leather and then with this just distress everything that's usually
15:53what takes the longest for something like this but it's pretty easily achieved it's just watered
15:57down acrylic paint and then lots of layers just to get the right texture that we're going for especially
16:02out in the desert things wear a certain way so it's like to bring that to life
16:09so you know i'm an old hill person from the south the backwoods of tennessee and as such i love
