00:10That was former Dancing with the Stars pro Peta Murgatroyd announcing she and her husband, Max Schramkowski, are now Florida
00:17residents.
00:17Peta shared that her three sons were so happy with the decision to move the family.
00:22But there were still plenty of tears.
00:23Peta posted this emotional YouTube video documenting the family's move from California, opening the video with them both crying as
00:30they drove away.
00:31She also gave fans insight into their move.
00:34Peta and her young children took a plane from California to Florida, while Max hit the road with their oldest
00:39son, Shai, and the family dog.
00:41Shai shared their plans to drive from California through Arizona, New Mexico, and Louisiana to get to Florida.
00:48But it wasn't all about the move. Max documented a fun dinosaur pit stop he made with Shai.
00:53Peta lived in Los Angeles for 16 years, and while emotional, she said it was time for the family to
00:59move on to new life and new adventures.
01:01But like any move, it didn't go completely as planned.
01:05Peta shared that Shai's bike was stolen in the process, noting that they were leaving the garage door open in
01:10the moving madness.
01:11Max and Peta's love story began after she joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars in 2011.
01:16Max and Peta dated for a few years, breaking up and getting back together, before getting engaged in 2015.
01:22Their first son, Shai, was born two years later in 2017, and while the two are no longer on Dancing
01:27with the Stars, both their real family and show family are supporting their move to Florida.
