Welcome back to another Assetto Corsa gameplay session, where today I’m pushing the limits of the legendary Ferrari LaFerrari at the historic Silverstone Circuit in practice mode. This isn’t just casual racing — this is about testing every ounce of engineering brilliance Ferrari poured into their most ambitious hypercar project.

💨 Car Overview – Ferrari LaFerrari:
The LaFerrari is Ferrari’s crown jewel, a hypercar that combines the soul of a naturally aspirated 6.3L V12 engine with the instant boost of an electric motor. With a total output of 963 BHP and over 900 Nm of torque, this machine is built to dominate both straights and corners. Weighing just 999 kg, it’s featherlight for a car of its class, delivering a power-to-weight ratio that makes it one of the sharpest driving experiences in any simulator.

Specs at a glance:

Horsepower: 963 BHP

Torque: 900+ Nm

Weight: 999 kg

Top Speed: 350 km/h

0-100 km/h: 2.5 seconds

Hybrid KERS system derived from Formula 1 technology

🏁 Track Breakdown – Silverstone Circuit:
Located in Northamptonshire, England, Silverstone is a circuit that carries both tradition and modern racing prestige. Once a World War II airfield, it now stands as one of the most technically challenging circuits in the world, hosting Formula 1, WEC, and other elite motorsport events.

Key highlights of Silverstone:

Maggotts & Becketts: A legendary high-speed corner sequence where downforce and balance are tested.

Hangar Straight: Perfect for stretching the LaFerrari’s 963 horsepower and hitting extreme top speeds.

Stowe Corner: A sharp test of braking stability at high speed.

Club & Vale: Technical sections requiring precision throttle and steering control.

✨ Fun Facts – Ferrari & Silverstone:

Only 499 LaFerrari coupes were built, making it a collector’s dream. A handful of LaFerrari Apertas (convertibles) were produced even more exclusively.

The LaFerrari’s hybrid system provides instant electric torque, allowing unmatched acceleration out of corners in Assetto Corsa.

The car’s carbon-fiber monocoque keeps weight under control while offering maximum rigidity.

Silverstone was home to the very first Formula 1 World Championship race in 1950.

The LaFerrari’s top speed of 350 km/h makes the Hangar Straight an adrenaline rush every lap.

In real-world testing, the LaFerrari achieved lap times close to Ferrari’s Formula 1 cars on Fiorano.

🎮 Gameplay Experience in Assetto Corsa 2025:
In this practice mode session, I explore how the LaFerrari handles the technical mix of high-speed and low-speed sections at Silverstone. The sheer acceleration out of corners feels explosive, while the downforce and hybrid boost make the car incredibly stable in sequences like Maggotts and Becketts. Watching this hypercar carve through corners at nearly impossible speeds feels as close to real-life racing as a simulator can get.
