00:12And the nature in Albania is so beautiful.
00:20It is so wonderful to see you fighting for the flamingos,
00:25for the loggerhead turtles, for the monk seals,
00:29and against the oligarchs that want to destroy that nature.
00:34And we're here.
00:37We have appeased from the European Parliament, from the Green Party.
00:41We're here to support you in that fight.
00:44And we'll take your voices back to Brussels.
00:48And we'll say Albania is not for sale.
00:54Nature is not for sale.
00:57You're fighting for your nature, for your home.
01:01But you're also fighting for your civil rights,
01:04for the right to be heard, for the right to be listened to.
01:09Because this is in European legislation.
01:12And if Albania is to join the European Union, which you deserve so much,
01:19then your government needs to change the law.
01:28They need to repeal the legislation which they changed for the billionaires.
01:33And which they did not for the well-being for the Albanian people,
01:39but only for their own pockets and those of their friends.
01:50I thank you so much for taking this protest to the streets.
01:55Although the government tries to keep you from it, tries to intimidate you,
02:01tries to keep you from your civil rights.
02:05And Tinika just mentioned the resolution with the amendment saying,
02:09there must be a moratorium.
02:11I received an email from Eddie Rama saying,
02:15do not vote for this amendment.
02:20But of course we voted for this amendment.
02:24Because European law must be upheld.
02:28And European law is also not for sale.
02:36Please do keep up the spirit.
02:39Do keep up the fight.
02:41We will do our best to support you in Brussels.
02:44We will hold the European Commission accountable.
02:48Because the Albanian people deserve better than their government.
