The Bay Tree Cookery CIC founder has been recognised for her work tackling food poverty and reducing social isolation across the region. She says community support continues to inspire her mission to help others.

00:07work tackling food poverty and bringing communities together. Founder of Baytree Cookery CIC,
00:13she has developed projects including recipe kits and virtual cookery classes to build confidence,
00:19reduce isolation and improve practical skills. Judges praised her long-standing commitment to
00:25inclusion, dignity and supporting people facing hardship. Speaking after receiving the award at
00:31the Liverpool event on Friday, Michelle thanked her volunteers and students, saying community
00:37support inspired her work and continues to drive her mission to ensure nobody goes hungry on her watch.
