Barisan Nasional (BN) will not interfere in matters involving the royal institution and the Negri Sembilan Council of Justice and Laws (DKU) ahead of the upcoming state election, said Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi after attending the Rural and Regional Development Ministry's excellent service and appreciation ceremony on June 29.

Ahmad Zahid said at the 15th state polls, BN worked together with component parties in Pakatan Harapan but that approach will not be taken this time.
