00:00Thank you, Kami. Millie Cook from The Independent. You've hit out at chaos in Labour. Do you accept
00:05that the benchmark for chaos at the moment appears to be the last Tory government? And
00:09how do you plan to escape that legacy before the next election?
00:13Well, my job as leader of the opposition is to hold this current government to account and say
00:18what they're doing, not to hold previous Conservative governments to account. But we
00:22paid for those things. We paid for them with our biggest defeat ever in our 200-year
00:30history. And we have learned from our mistakes. And what I'm trying to do right now is actually
00:35explain to Labour that they are making the same mistakes and they're making even worse
00:40mistakes than the ones that we did. I'm not here to say that the Conservative Party was
00:44perfect. If it was, we would still be in government. But I have apologised for mistakes the party
00:49it's made. We've had policy changes, like on net zero, like on immigration, where we will
00:54leave the ECHR. But we have an agenda and we have a plan. Many of the things that went wrong
01:00were about making announcements before having the plan ready. That is what Andy Burnham is
01:05doing again. And I think it would be wrong of me to ignore that. I think it's the important
01:10things for people to see that being pointed out. And that's what I'm doing.
