00:00That the United Nations Office of Investigations collected 5,000 pages of evidence, an awful lot of it from me,
00:08evidence that I gave, and in the 137 findings, there is no finding of conduct that could constitute prohibited conduct,
00:18but importantly, the most important thing, is three independent judges handpicked by the Bureau of the Assembly of State Parties,
00:28reviewed all of the underlying evidence, the full 5,000 pages, and the UN report, and they unanimously, as you
00:35said, concluded that there was no evidence to find misconduct or breach of authority to the required standard.
00:42And I thought that would be the end of it. Why appoint judges if you're going to reject their findings
00:47and their advice?
00:48And unfortunately, the Bureau departed from the principle of deference, and they have referred the matter now to the Assembly
00:56of State Parties.
00:56But I think it's astonishing, it's unwarranted, and it's unlawful.
