I will always remember the day he passed away. I was so young, and I still remember hearing my father react to the news on TV early in the morning. I felt devastated. Then, on the day of his funeral, seeing the world say goodbye to him completely broke my heart.
Every year, I hoped there would be a tribute event on this date that I could attend, and this year I finally got to experience it in Paris, surrounded by other fans.
Michael, if only you knew how much you impacted my life, how much I cried for you, and how there hasn’t been a single year where I didn’t think about you. No other artist has ever touched my heart the way you did.
