02:50that we never would have normally put on the floor
02:52this early in the season with that level of difficulty

02:57But overall, I think you know that we need to step it up
02:59big time for nationals.

03:04Remember, Jazz is one third of what would determine
03:07the national champion when we head to nationals
03:09in just nine short weeks.
03:11I have affectionately referred to this routine
03:14as the bloodbath because you're wearing a very expensive
03:18costume that, for some reason, you've nicknamed the tampon.
03:22We're going to put you in the custom-designed red unitard
03:26that you just won our last national championship in,
03:28the red for bringing the fire, OK?
03:32But the number one thing we're looking for
03:34is how fierce you are.
03:35We want the dancers that are going to attack this routine.
03:39And this will help determine who the 20 are that are fierce
03:43enough to dance on that national stage to help us
03:46grab titles 16 and 17.
03:49What I want out of the Jazz routine this week
03:51is to see a complete opposite of what we saw in pong.
03:56Throw it, step it.
03:58So instead of just in your face athletically,
04:00I want to see sass.
04:02I need to see fierce.
04:03I need to see fire.
04:04I want to see hair work, where you grab the ponytail,
