00:00One of the biggest songs of late is an AI-generated song,
00:04Hawak mo ang beat.
00:05And it's really taking the nation by storm.
00:08So how do you comment about that,
00:10that a song written by AI, produced by AI,
00:14has taken the hearts and captivated the hearts of millions of Filipinos
00:18as a Filipino songwriter?
00:19Ano ang thoughts mo dun?
00:21Yun lang.
00:21Salamat.
00:22Oh, that's a tough question.
00:24Parang pinahirapan mo ba ako.
00:26Sorry.
00:27My answer to that is, well, number one,
00:32I think it's a call on all songwriters to up their game even more.
00:39To get better, it should be an inspiration for songwriters
00:43to see how they can improve themselves and take away from it as well.
00:48But having said that, I do believe there are AI tools
00:54that can help aid you in writing.
00:57Not in writing the whole song from scratch,
00:59but getting ideas.
01:01So if AI is doing this to us,
01:02then we should all also maximize the tools available to songwriters
01:09to improve their craft as well.
