00:00We got a bunch of new details on GTA 6, but probably one of the most surprising thing is

00:05that when you go into a store to buy it, there will not be a disc. Yes, GTA 6 is

00:11a digital release,

00:12meaning that when you pick it up, there will be a game voucher key inside where you can download it.

00:19Make sure to blur that out. Make sure to blur this code out. We wouldn't want someone to use

00:24that code. GTA 6 pre-orders are available tomorrow, but we got some details today that

00:29we are going to break down. First and probably biggest is that the game will cost $79.99,

00:35$80 US in the United States. That is for the base edition. However, for $20 extra for $99.99,

00:43you can get the ultimate edition, which includes a bunch of digital goodies. Now, what we're looking

00:49at today is mostly what's included in that ultimate edition, as well as some pre-order bonuses. We got

00:54images for all this stuff. We're going to go through them. Now, the other thing that I do

00:58want to call out that a lot of people aren't too happy about is that if you do buy the

01:02physical

01:02edition of GTA 6, you're not getting a disc. Nope. You are getting a code voucher, which you can enter

01:09to then download it. The interesting thing, though, is that you can technically pick up box copies of

01:15GTA 6 a full week before release. Now, you won't actually be able to play it, but the thinking behind

01:21this is that, hey, if you have a really slow internet, you can get it a week early, you can

01:26enter the code,

01:27and you can start preloading right away. There is no disked version of GTA 6, though. No matter what

01:34you buy, you will not be getting a disc. People have theories to this. Many reasons. We're probably

01:39not going to get into that now because we just want to go over all of the new images. So

01:44first,

01:44let's take a look at what we get in the ultimate edition. So this is just on the website here

01:49itself.

01:50So if you want to take a look at your own speed, you easily can. But basically, as I said,

01:55a lot of these editions consist of cosmetic stuff. Clothing, hairstyles, vehicle customization,

02:06weapon customization, that sort of thing. So we don't really have a whole lot of new details about

02:12the gameplay. However, there is stuff we can infer based on this. So ultimate edition, this is,

02:18you know, a nice screenshot of Lucia and Jason. As you can see, they don't look like they have been

02:26looking in sort of the cover art, box art sort of stuff. That's to show all the customization we've

02:31got here. So first thing is the 95 Grody Cheetah. This is a 90 sports car and an ode to

02:39the shore drive.

02:40The 95 Grody Cheetah is complete with minimalist retro futuristic livery and available to punctuate

02:47later stage action. Later stage action makes me think that if you have the ultimate edition of this

02:53game, you're probably not going to get this right away. I have a feeling you are going to need to

02:58build up your car collection. You're going to start with a piece of junk and eventually you'll make

03:02the money in order to buy something nicer. And if you're getting this with the ultimate edition,

03:07my best guess is maybe a character delivers it to you later down the story. So you complete some

03:13quest or you hit some checkpoint and a character is like, hey, I left this 95 Grody Cheetah in your

03:19garage. You can use it when you like. Probably a text message. That's my best guess.

03:25We get some info on the styling of it. So there is car customization in GTA. We'll talk about that

03:34later in the video, but this is just showing some of the unique interior customization that has gone

03:40into this. I have to imagine you won't be able to customize a Grody Cheetah to look exactly like this.

03:47I'm going to guess this is exclusive to the ultimate edition, but I bet you can still find

03:51this style of car throughout the world. Could be wrong though. We don't know. Weapons. So this is

03:57one of the exclusive weapons you'll be getting, the Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers. It is a revolver

04:05with a scope, a .44 Magnum. And then as you can see, there are some etchings. My best guess is

04:12that,

04:14oh wait, Jason Duvall and Lucia Camino. So hey, it does look like that these revolvers are exclusive

04:20to the characters. So it looks like Lucia gets a gold one with palm trees. While Jason gets a silver

04:28one that looks like a Monstera. Monstera leaf right there. I can't tell, but it's probably something

04:33tropical because, you know, we're in Vice City. It's about to say Florida. We're not in Florida.

04:38We're in Leonida. Here's more images of the weapons. Once again, you can see their names engraved

04:44in it. We've got Jason Duvall there. And actually, I don't think we see Lucia there. Oh wait, I think

04:51it might be right there. I can't really zoom in on this setup, but that's fine. So you're also seeing

04:55their two names here. But one other thing that you might notice is that this $100 bill right here,

05:03that is the face of the president in Red Dead Redemption 1. His name is like President Harden or

05:09something like that. Yeah. If you look at a photo of him in Red Dead and that, you can see

05:14he's got

05:14the same beard. So this shouldn't be surprising. They shared the same universe anyway, but this is

05:21like confirmation, I guess. Re-confirmation that yes, GTA 6 takes place in the same universe as Red Dead

05:28Redemption 2 and, you know, Red Dead Redemption games and GTA games. So there's some more personalized

05:35sidearms for them. Next is style. We're going to take a look at the new looks and the exclusive

05:44outfits and tattoos. So I'm assuming that like all the stuff we're seeing here is stuff that you can

05:50only get if you buy the Ultimate Edition of the game. Maybe there's some bits and bobs in these

05:56outfits that you can actually buy on their own, but I'm going to guess that a majority of the stuff

06:00we

06:00are looking at is not available in the standard edition. Jason's safe house vehicles. So switch

06:07gears and soak up the sun in an army of fatigue-tinged Dinka Enduro motorcycle or Kress Kayak.

06:15So I'm going to guess that if you do get the Ultimate Edition, you do get to start with these

06:19two vehicles. They seem, you know, modest, I would say, compared to the other car.

06:26Uh, and it sounds like they just start in your garage at the beginning. And it makes sense that,

06:31uh, at Jason's house or apartment, whatever it might be, safe house, uh, looks like you can see

06:37a little dock over there and you can see a kayak there. I wonder if it's the same kayak we're

06:42seeing.

06:42It's a crest. It doesn't look quite the same. It looks like this. I don't think you can pilot this

06:48one in the corner. I think that's just there for decoration. Uh, but then back here you can see a

06:53dock. So I'm pretty sure that's where you'll probably access your kayak and other vehicles

06:57as you go. All right. So now we're going onto a mod kit for the Ganado retro build.

07:03Inject some muscle and classic stylings into Jason's well-worn vapid Ganado low-riding pickup

07:09with exclusive mods. So now we're going to get more into the vehicle customization that we kind

07:14of saw here. Uh, so this is Jason's vehicle that I assume he starts out with. Uh, we can see

07:21it

07:21up front, but this styling is exclusive to the ultimate edition. So if you want your Ganado to

07:26look like this, you will need to get the, uh, you will need to get the ultimate edition. Uh,

07:32it looks kind of, it looks kind of cool though. Um, Oh, it looks like, or yeah, it looks kind

07:37of cool

07:37though. I don't know if, um, this alone would get me to, uh, buy the ultimate edition of GTA. Well,

07:45let's be honest. I'm going to buy the ultimate edition of GTA six either way, but if this was it,

07:50I don't know. I don't know if I'd, I'd be into it. Um, okay. This is where things get a

07:55little

07:55interesting and there was some debate in the office here. So mod shop write out custom. So

08:00what this says is transform vanilla vehicles into magnificent works of art with detailed interiors,

08:05exquisite rims, and donk stylings open only for business with the ultimate edition. So this could

08:14mean a couple of things, right? So what it sounds like is that there is a specific mod shop

08:19for vehicles called write out customs. That is exclusive to the ultimate edition.

08:25What I believe this means is that if you buy the standard edition, you won't have access to this

08:31shop. Now, despite that, there are still other mod shops available that you can visit. However,

08:37this one in particular is locked to only the ultimate edition owners. Now don't quote me on this.

08:43I could be wrong. This is speculation, but based on what I'm looking at, that's kind of how it sounds.

08:49So if you want to kit out your ride in this specific way, uh, here, we'll get a larger image

08:56of it here. Uh, you will need the ultimate edition. That's a little weird to me. Uh, I get different

09:05cosmetic options, but to lock presumably an interior, uh, from owners of the standard edition seems strange.

09:11Maybe you can still go inside it. Maybe you can like, I don't know, rob it if you want,

09:16but it seems like you won't actually be able to access the shop itself in terms of like upgrading

09:21your vehicle. That kind of bums me out a little. Uh, that's, that, that seems like a weird thing

09:27to lock off. Um, but Hey, it seems like that's how it is now in the same vein of that

09:34there is Sarah's

09:35unisex salon. So same thing, get signature salon styles for both Jason and Lucia, including facial

09:41hair for Jason and makeup and nails for Lucia only open for business with the ultimate edition.

09:46So once again, I believe that you will only be able to access this store if you have the ultimate

09:52edition. Uh, and you know, I'm going to be honest, uh, these hairstyles look kind of dope. Uh,

10:00uh, once again, 20 extra dollars. I mean, it seems like you're getting a lot of it. Um, but yeah,

10:08I would be bummed if I wasn't able to, uh, access these hairstyles and we're only seeing two. The

10:14customization seems incredibly deep, not only for vehicles, uh, not only for guns, but like characters

10:20as well. If anything, that's probably where the meat of the customization will be.

10:26Okay. Uh, watercraft, uh, the Shih Tzu Swallow, uh, perfect for casting in Gambit Bay and reeling

10:34in catches of all sorts. This gradient pink and blue squallow docked at Washington beach is made

10:39ocean ready with an explosives laden weapons crate. Uh, cool. So it sounds like this won't be available

10:46at Jason's safe house, but you will be able to access it another place. And it sounds like there's

10:50plenty of explosives. Um, it feels like a boat for causing mayhem. If I had to guess one thing that's

11:00also kind of interesting is that in this image, you can see Jason and Lucia together. I'm really

11:07curious to see what their dynamic will be like during gameplay. One thing about GTA five was that

11:12yes, you could play these different characters, but it was only really in missions where you actually

11:16interacted with these characters and you are, uh, running around with them. In other words,

11:22they were kind of off doing their own thing, but it seems like Jason and Lucia's story is way more

11:25connected. And a lot of these images, we see them together. So I'm curious how that plays. I wonder

11:31if one will be following you or you can call them up and they'll be hanging out with you as

11:36you do jobs,

11:37uh, cause mayhem in, uh, Washington beach. Who knows? Um, here's some more images of it. Yeah.

11:46Kind of like what I was talking about here before. So there's also like a scuba pack over here. Um,

11:50pretty sure there's going to be underwater, you know, scuba-ing there was in previous games,

11:55and I think we may have seen stuff about it. Um, also dolphins, um, uh, Richard on staff was wondering

12:01if we'd be able to ride them. Fingers crossed. That might be kind of fun. Uh, but we'll see.

12:06And I see a cooler over there, some drinks, looks like a nice day. Uh, and then here's some other

12:13shots of it. We got vice city police. We've got vice city news, CCTV, vice city, uh, I think that's

12:23I can't tell what that is. Um, but I imagine it's a news copter or actually I see the badge

12:29here. So

12:30it's probably a police police chopper and they've got some guns and it looks like Lucy is driving.

12:35Um, so it looks like they are wanted. Okay. Clothing store. So we're back to the same thing.

12:44Uh, this stock 305 clothing store only opened for business in the ultimate edition. So, uh,

12:51a lot of these clothes that we were about to see, you will only be able to purchase in the

12:55ultimate

12:55edition. Uh, they do look pretty good though. Um, one detail that, uh, really stood out to me,

13:02uh, in this image is that you can see slightly how Jason's jacket is kind of bending to the curve

13:09of the gun he has hidden there. Uh, kind of a cool detail. Uh, you know, clipping in 3d video

13:15games is

13:15probably one of the like most common visual glitches that you'll ever see, you know, like hair clipping

13:21through, uh, clothing, sores, you know, whatever it might be, but it looks like that gun is, uh,

13:26fitted very nicely back there. Now, obviously these, I think these are in engine. They look

13:30in engine based on what we've seen, but they are pre-rendered. So I'm sure they did some like

13:34touches to make it look nicer. So we'll see if that's actually how good the, uh, the collision

13:39works in game, but either way, uh, I thought that was a very nice image. Um, we got some fits

13:45from

13:46Lucia here. We've got, uh, looks like some, some nice jewelry as well.

13:54And then here's an image of the store. Uh, it looks like you can walk in. That looks like an

13:58interior to me, although it does look a little barren. So maybe you can't actually go in these

14:03interiors. Maybe it's more just like a, you walk up and do a menu, but I don't know, that doesn't

14:07seem

14:07like a GTA rockstar thing. They like that immersion. They like you to be able to walk up into the

14:12store,

14:12talk to the shopkeeper or try things on. Um, so I'm going to guess you can still enter it.

14:19All right, moving on the vapid dominator buggy, a mud club monster offering impressive off-road

14:27handling for backwoods of Mount Kalaga and beyond conveniently store it at the paradise garage in

14:32Watson Bay, which features a weapon locker, plus a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced.

14:38Uh, that to me is super interesting. I feel like in previous GTA games, you're not stealing a lot

14:45other than money, right? Like you are going to a convenience store, you're robbing them,

14:49you're getting, you're, you're, you're getting money. Uh, and that's it. You're not like stealing

14:54objects to then fence in your free time. Uh, this makes it sound like that that's the case.

15:00Uh, you know, in Red Dead Redemption, you could pretty much pick up anything in the environment.

15:04You could store it in your bag. You could sell it. Um, and what this is kind of telling me

15:10is

15:10that there might be the same thing in this game where you can walk into a store, pick up a

15:14bunch

15:14of different objects, maybe pocket something, steal it, throw it in the back of your buggy,

15:18and then eventually take it to a fence to sell. Uh, that's all super interesting to me. I love

15:25Red Dead Redemption 2 so much. One of my favorite games of all time. And I absolutely love the pace

15:31of it. I know a lot of people don't. I know that was probably one of the more controversial things

15:35about Red Dead, but for me personally, I hope GTA 6 is a little bit faster than that, but I

15:41really

15:41hope there's still moments where you can kind of just wander around the environment, examine things,

15:46pick things up, steal things. Uh, I like the idea that like, you don't have like an infinite pocket

15:52where you can just shove as many guns and items into. You really have to think about what you want

15:56to

15:56bring. Maybe you have to leave some guns in your trunk. Uh, and then if you're stealing something

16:00big, you have to park close by because you need to take it and put it in your trunk.

16:05That's all conjecture. I don't know if any of that's true, but that sentence kind of leads me to

16:10believe that, uh, these, these stolen objects have like physical presence in the world that you need

16:16to interact with. Uh, as for the buggy itself though, uh, it looks pretty cool. And, uh, also like

16:22one thing that GTA games also have not done before is, uh, it seems like there's going to be some

16:27like

16:27in-depth, uh, terrain traction mechanics. I mean, just looking at this image here,

16:32you can see the tire wheels, you can see the mud and the way this is worded. It sounds like,

16:36you know, if you are driving in mud with just a regular car with, uh, standard road tires,

16:44it's going to be tougher. You know, your car is going to spin out. You're going to have less traction.

16:47This makes me think that there's more to it. You know, maybe in rain, it gets even muddier.

16:52Maybe certain roads get flooded, uh, and you have to go around them, uh, or find other ways.

16:57I don't know. Could be kind of cool.

17:01Um, here's some more images of it. Uh, looks nice. I'm assuming this is the garage where you

17:07get it from. Um, I'm probably wrong, but you know, Hey, and then some interior shots,

17:12you know, one thing I'm curious about, um, I imagine it'll have to launch with a first-person

17:17mode, but GTA five, if you remember, didn't actually have a first-person mode. Uh, it wasn't

17:22until I think it came to the Xbox one and PS4 that they added a first-person mode. However,

17:27Red Dead Redemption 2 launched with a first-person mode, but given how detailed these interiors are

17:32and how insane it all looks, I have to imagine we're going to see a first-person mode out of

17:36the

17:36gate, which would be cool, especially for driving. I love doing that, uh, in GTA games.

17:42All right. Tattoo shop. Once again, I know I sound like a broken record, but electric fang tattoo only

17:49open for business with the ultimate edition. So another store that you are presumably locked out of

17:55if you don't purchase the ultimate edition. Um, another thing too, I like that we are seeing like,

18:03uh, her actually getting a tattoo. It's not just, you know, walk up, you see your character and then

18:08the tattoo appears on their arm. It still might be that in game. Uh, this might be rendered out in

18:13the specific way to show that. Um, but I don't know, I think it'd be kind of cool if like,

18:18especially

18:19like first-person mode I was talking about, if in first-person mode, you know, you look down and

18:22they're like quickly inking something on your body, maybe quickly though. I don't want to actually wait

18:27like four hours for a bigger tattoo. Um, but, uh, it's kind of neat. Uh, also get a different look

18:36at Jason. I mean, I mean, they both look vastly different, um, based on what they look like. Also,

18:41you can see his arm hair. You can see his arm hair. That's crazy. You can see like the light

18:50bouncing

18:50off of it. The detail, I'm telling you. Can we see his arm hair here? Let's go back. We can

18:57see

18:58his arm hair here. Man, I didn't think I'd wake up today looking at another dude's arm hair, but here

19:04we are. Uh, okay. Another mod shop. Uh, this mod shop in Lake Leonida specializes in off-road modification

19:11and hand-painted automotive artistry, only open for business in the Ultimate Edition. Um, once again,

19:18this kind of makes me think that terrain will play a big role, mud, uh, water, all that sort of

19:24stuff,

19:24if there is a mod shop specifically designed to handle all-terrain vehicles. So not all-terrain,

19:29but you know, uh, uh, uh, four-wheel drive vehicles. Um, and if I'm being honest, this is probably the

19:38weakest that we've seen so far. This is like the, you know, in like Breath of the Wild, where if

19:43you

19:43pre-ordered, you get like Link with a Switch shirt that had the Switch logo. This is

19:48kind of what this feels like to me. Uh, I'm not super wild about it, but I guess maybe that's

19:53the

19:53point. It looks very, um, touristy, you know, and touristy clothes a lot of time look kind of corny.

19:59Uh, but yeah, good time gear. Um, Gang Compound. Okay, so this is something different.

20:08Raid the compound of one of South Side Vice City's loudest and most socially active gangs

20:13and escape safely to score some special items and distinct contraband. Uh, this seems like

20:19an exclusive mission. Um, this isn't the first time, uh, a Rockstar game has had missions behind

20:25like pre-order bonuses or ultimate additions. So I'm not surprised if I remember correctly,

20:29I think even GTA had one where you had to steal a blimp or GTA 5 had one. We had

20:34to steal a blimp,

20:35but I think eventually that was just added into the game for anyone. Based on what I'm seeing,

20:39it seems like there will be gang compounds. There will be, uh, I guess bases that you can infiltrate,

20:46uh, steal things. It sounds like special distinct contraband. Uh, very curious to how that plays out.

20:53Also socially active gangs. Does that mean like they're posting TikToks or whatever the in-game

20:58version of that would be? I don't know. Hard to say. Uh, and then Classic Car Collection.

21:06Track down a variety of abandoned classic and working project cars and revitalize them to their

21:11former glory in this special commission from eccentric collector and local fixer Wyman.

21:16So this seems like another quote unquote mission or collectible. It seems like basically throughout

21:21the world, if you get the ultimate addition, you will find beat up cars that you can take back to

21:25this guy and then he will refurbish. Uh, kind of a neat idea. Um, other games like Forza does something

21:33similar as cool. Uh, I'm curious to see what grand theft auto rockstar spin on it would be a little

21:40bummed that this is not something we will see in the standard edition, but I feel like I've been saying

21:45that all video. Anyway, I take it. These are some examples of the cars. This looks like the beat up

21:51one that you'd probably find. Uh, I mean, these aren't the same cars. There's no like before and after we

21:57can properly take a look at from what I can tell. Yeah. Um, one thing though, the Deviant, if you've

22:05played GTA 5, you'll recognize it. There is a Deviant in GTA 5 as well. Uh, the paint job's a

22:12little

22:12different. You can't get that kind of paint job. Anyway, that is the end of it for the ultimate

22:18edition. Now there is still more. We're going to take a look at the pre-order bonus as well,

22:22but here we are. We can see Jason and Lucia. I'm assuming all of this stuff that you are seeing

22:28here is stuff only available in the ultimate edition. I think this car was one of those

22:32collector cars that we talked about in the slide before that hairstyle, that gun, these outfits,

22:38all stuff only in the ultimate edition. Okay. So we've taken a look at the ultimate edition.

22:44Now let's take a look at the vintage Vice City pack. So this is what you get if you pre

22:52-order the

22:52game or I think like if you need to buy the game up until the day it comes out in

22:56order to get access

22:57to this stuff. Yeah. As we can see, this looks like it's styled out of like 1980s Vice City,

23:04you know, GTA Vice City that took place in the eighties. It seems like we are getting a bit of

23:09that and they're even standing in front of the ocean view, which you might recognize from Vice City

23:14if you play that way back in the day. But we're getting some vehicles, or is it a vehicle? It

23:21might be a vehicle. We're getting a vehicle. Vapid Staniere, Staniere, Cruise Shore Drive in this

23:28classic sedan and store it in the Shore Court Personal Garage that's just a stone's throw from

23:33the glistening sands of Ocean Beach. It features a weapon locker plus a secure place to deposit stolen

23:40goods to be fenced. We are seeing that again. Makes me think there is more objects to interact

23:46with in the world which can be stowed and sold to a fence. That's cool. I like that.

23:53Some nice photos though. Nice pose between the two of them. And look at the reflections on the,

23:59you can see a palm tree there. You can see the city lights. It looks super impressive. I'm assuming

24:05these photos are from like PS5 Pro. Could be wrong. But yeah, look at that. Look at how the light

24:11refracts on the brake lights there. It looks really cool. You can see the specular highlights there.

24:16It's a lot of detail. A lot, a lot of detail. All right. Outfits and hairstyles. Dress for the excess

24:24with Jason's effortlessly chic linen suit and vintage pastel complemented by the cut and coif of the decade

24:31of decadence. Very nice. I like the glasses. I like how there's like transparency on the edges of the

24:37glasses as well. And here we go. That is a very close-up shot of her. And she's enjoying a

24:50drink.

24:51Look at that detail too. It's crazy, man. It's crazy. In the cup, I should say what it is. Yeah,

24:57in the cup.

24:58Look at the detail there. You can see like the way the light's reflecting.

25:03Oh, and there's the glasses again. Nice and close. Can we see the... No, we can't see it.

25:12But anyway, look at that. You can see the eyebrow hair. All the hair. So much detail in the hair.

25:19Okay. Channel the original Kingpin. Adorned most guns with tropical pattern inspired by

25:24Tommy Vercetti's iconic palm tree button-up. Once again, that is the main character of GTA Vice City.

25:32All right. So we just went over everything that you'll get if you pre-order the Ultimate Edition

25:36and everything you get if you pre-order the game, whether that's the Base Edition or the Ultimate

25:40Edition. Now, I know it sounds like there is a lot in the Ultimate Edition here. And yeah, there is

25:46quite a

25:47bit. But I have to imagine this is just scratching the surface of what's actually available to you in GTA

25:526.

25:53There's like, what, four or five shops that you won't have access to unless you get the Ultimate Edition.

25:58I'm assuming there are going to be dozens, potentially hundreds of shops. Maybe hundreds is too many,

26:04but I think there are going to be many other shops where you will be able to

26:08buy different clothes, get tattoos. So I don't think you'll be cut off from everything by any stretch.

26:15However, seeing those exclusive stores makes me think that in order to get the full GTA 6 experience,

26:23you're probably going to need to buy the Ultimate Edition for $100. Anyway, those are just some of my

26:29takeaways based on the screenshots that we got today. Apparently, there's supposed to be a trailer

26:34tomorrow. So I will be right back here breaking that down, if that's the case. If not, well,
