Transcripción
00:03Hola, hoy vamos a hacer un box de Steam Machine, hacer una breve revisión de los features, y mostrarles cómo
00:08comenzar a jugar juegos.
00:28models.
00:28We'll take a look at those in a bit.
00:30And here's the Steam Machine.
00:32You can pull it out of the box using the attached handle.
00:36The stand-alone Steam Machine model comes in the same box.
00:39Pull this tab to unseal it.
00:42Then flip the lid back to open.
00:44Ta-da!
00:46Inside the box is a Steam Machine,
00:49an HDMI cable,
00:51and a power cord that matches your region's power outlets.
00:56Let's take a look at Steam Machine.
00:58It's about 6 inches square,
01:00around the size of a tissue box.
01:01Or, these other tissue box-sized things.
01:05Steam Machine comes with all the ports you need for a living room or desktop setup.
01:10On the front, there's two USB-A ports,
01:12a microSD slot,
01:14an LED strip,
01:15an indicator LED,
01:17and the power button.
01:19On the back, you have DisplayPort,
01:21HDMI,
01:22power,
01:23Gigabit Ethernet,
01:25USB-C port,
01:27a USB-C port,
01:27and two USB-A ports.
01:29Inside Steam Machine,
01:30you have dedicated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antennas designed to avoid interference.
01:35In addition, there is a built-in Steam Controller wireless adapter,
01:38which lets you pair your Steam Controller directly to your Steam Machine
01:42without using the Steam Controller Puck.
01:44Steam Machine's power supply is also inside the chassis,
01:47so no need to hide a power brick when managing your cables.
01:51The front faceplate is removable on all Steam Machine models.
01:55If you have the 2TB model,
01:57it comes with two extra faceplates for customization.
02:00One is solid walnut,
02:02and the other is covered in bright red fabric.
02:04We'll be releasing the CAD files and details for these faceplates soon,
02:08and we're excited to see what the community creates.
02:11Getting started with Steam Machine is as simple as plugging it into power
02:14and connecting it to your display with the included HDMI cord.
02:19You can also use DisplayPort if you prefer,
02:21or even both at the same time.
02:23One quick note about Steam Machine placement.
02:25Please make sure Steam Machine is not directly on carpet
02:29or in an enclosed space.
02:30The cooling system brings in air through the bottom vent and out the back,
02:34so make sure your Steam Machine has room to breathe.
02:37Press the power button to turn it on,
02:39and you'll see initial setup instructions on your screen.
02:43If you got the Steam Controller bundle,
02:44or already own a Steam Controller,
02:47plug your puck into Steam Machine and turn on your Steam Controller.
02:50Follow the on-screen prompts to complete any necessary updates.
02:55When you're done updating, you'll be prompted to pair directly to the Steam Machine.
02:59We think this is a great way to use Steam Machine with Steam Controller
03:02and allows you to do things like turn on the Steam Machine from the controller.
03:06Just like the Steam Controller Puck,
03:08you can pair up to four Steam Controllers to Steam Machine's internal adapter.
03:12When you pair this way, the Steam Controller Puck is no longer used for wireless connectivity,
03:17but it's still a great way to charge your Steam Controller.
03:19For instance, you could have the puck plugged in on a side table next to your couch
03:24for quick pick-up and play.
03:26You're also welcome to use a different controller or mouse and keyboard.
03:30Steam Machine supports every controller Steam does,
03:32so bring whatever input you're the most comfortable with.
03:35Plug your input of choice into Steam Machine via USB
03:38and make your way through the rest of the setup experience.
03:41You'll be able to pair your controller directly via Bluetooth later as well.
03:45Once you log in, you'll see a familiar UI if you've ever used Big Picture Mode or a Steam Deck.
03:51Your whole Steam library will be there.
03:54Steam Machine runs SteamOS, just like Steam Deck,
03:56and you can expect the same easy-to-use, gamepad-first user interface,
04:01integrated system updates,
04:02and all the quality-of-life features you know from Steam Deck.
04:06You'll also have access to Desktop Mode, just like any SteamOS device.
04:11Managing, purchasing, and launching games is simple with the gamepad-first UI.
04:16In addition, Steam Machine has a verified program, similar to Steam Deck,
04:21so you'll know at a glance if a game is verified, playable, unsupported, or untested on Steam Machine.
04:27With six times the horsepower of a Steam Deck,
04:30we've found that many games that were unsupported or just playable on Steam Deck
04:34play great and are verified on Steam Machine.
04:36In addition to customizing your faceplate, you can customize your Steam Machine's LED behavior and colors,
04:43or just turn it off.
04:45And just like Steam Deck, you can choose your startup movies or change your keyboard styles.
04:49You can even have the LED strip show your download progress while installing new games or updates.
04:55When you're done playing, just put Steam Machine to sleep from your controller or by pressing the power button.

05:06I'll see you then.
