00:01A local man has been arrested for allegedly stealing four laptops worth about 6,000 ringgit
00:08from a private Islamic religious school in Johor Bahru.

00:18police received a report from a 34-year-old woman regarding the burglary at about 1.08pm
00:24on Tuesday. Police also detected several viral videos related to the incident at about 4pm on
00:32Wednesday. Following the report and circulation of the videos, police arrested a 32-year-old man
00:38at around 4.30am on June 24 for allegedly being involved in the theft. Initial investigations
00:45revealed that the suspect has 10 previous criminal records including drug-related offences. He also
00:52tested positive for methamphetamine. Police managed to recover all four stolen laptops, while
00:58the case is being investigated under Section 380 of the Penal Code for Theft in a Building.
