“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:14
Children don’t come to Jesus trying to impress Him with their résumés.
They just run to Him with open arms. That’s the entrance requirement.
In 2026, this verse hits hard.
We live in a world obsessed with achievement, influence, credentials, and “adulting.”
Jesus says the kingdom isn’t earned by climbing ladders — it’s received like a child receives a gift: with empty hands and a willing heart.
Bottom line:
The kingdom of God is for the humble of heart.
The trusting, the ones who know they need Him.
Don’t let pride, busyness, or “maturity” hinder you — or anyone else — from coming to Jesus exactly as you are.
Church is a healing place for the sick of heart, the faint of spirit, and those who have faith that they can be healed.
This verse is an open invitation… and a quiet warning against anyone who tries to gatekeep it.
