00:00The first thing you do as a zombie is collect baby formula and diapers because you've adopted
00:04a baby girl. What's surprising is that she's the reincarnation of an empress. She fought across
00:08the lands, survived countless close calls, and killed many powerful enemies. In the end,
00:13Star Worm Queen killed her. She's been reborn at the dawn of the apocalypse 50 years ago,
00:17but as a baby, you transmigrated here and were attacked by zombies, eventually turning into one.
00:22But you retain your consciousness. You survived a month on frozen meat you found, but now,
00:26it's starting to rot. Though zombies eat rotten meat, you can't stomach it with your consciousness.
00:31So, you pretend to be a shambler to look for food. While heading into a house to search the kitchen,
00:35you hear a baby crying next door. You enter the bedroom. It's cozy, unlike the blood-stained
00:40living room. A six-month-old baby girl is lying in bed, crying. Seems like her parents locked the
00:45door to protect her. At the same time, Ivy Hole is feeling helpless. She's just been reborn,
00:50but she sees a zombie instead of her parents. She hasn't eaten in a long time. The immense fear
00:54overwhelms her. She faints from both physical terror and hunger. The baby's look surprises you.
01:00Though only six months old, there's a sadness and helplessness in her eyes. You feel a strange
01:04connection. You're both mysteriously brought into this world and thrown into this apocalyptic
01:08crisis. Amid loneliness and despair, Ivy's presence feels like a light, showing you a new
01:13direction. You decide to raise the baby. At least you finally have a company in this ruined world.
01:18Then, it hits you that the baby has fainted from hunger. You need to find baby formula.
01:22You close the bedroom door and block it with a couch. The kitchen is empty, so you head upstairs.
01:27The third floor is filled with dried bloodstains, broken limbs, and the stench of decaying corpses.
01:32Some zombies slump or crawl, searching for food. Used to it, you continue your search. You check
01:37several kitchens but find no formula, only a little barely edible meat. On the fifth floor,
01:41you find a house where the lady has been zombified, her child dead. You find two cans of formula and
01:46some
01:46fresh meat. It occurs to you that if the baby hadn't been locked in the bedroom, she might have met
01:51the
01:51same tragic fate. Unconscious, Ivy smells the sweet milk and drinks it. With some strength,
01:56she opens her eyes and is shocked that she's alive. There's a zombie feeding her milk with a spoon like
02:00a nanny. In her past life, zombies were mindless monsters, so she can't believe this. She wonders
02:05if the zombie plans to eat her next. Seeing the baby's eyes open, you finally relax. You give her
02:10a calm smile. Ivy, hungry for so long, is eager to eat. She's not full after one bowl of milk,
02:15so you prepare two more bowls. Raising a child is hard. You need more formula. Luckily,
02:20the sealed formula keeps well. Once Ivy's had her fill, she lies back in the crib. She finds your
02:24actions totally absurd. A zombie in front of her has a faint presence, clearly a newly transformed,
02:30low-level zombie. She knows from her past life that a zombie can't think. She's confused as to
02:35why you're taking care of her. As a former empress who faced dangers, Ivy is terrified,
02:39but since you've shown no intention to hurt her, she figures she can rest for now. After days of hunger
02:44and fear, she falls into a deep sleep. You know leaving Ivy alone is a death sentence.
02:49You decide to take her with you. This is an old nine-story apartment complex. The second floor
02:54is unsafe, but the ninth floor will block most sounds and smells, making it safe. Few zombies
02:58are here, and most are damaged. Using human tools and thinking, you easily take them out with a
03:03crowbar. At first, your limbs are stiff after turning into a zombie. But as you move more,
03:07your body becomes more coordinated. You can perform simple human actions now. Though you're puzzled,
03:13you're too focused on Ivy to dwell on it. In the room, you find many baby supplies and toys.
03:18The previous owners probably fled in a hurry. You take a bath and put on clean clothes.
03:23Aside from some wounds, you look almost human. As you're about to change Ivy's diaper,
03:27she suddenly has a shocking thought. If she were confused when you fed her,
03:31seeing you change her diaper now confirms you have human consciousness.
03:35She recalls details from your first meeting, like you turning the doorknob,
03:38prying open doors, and even preparing formula. A shambler won't do any of this.
03:42She's convinced that you're conscious. Only human willpower can suppress a zombie's instincts.
03:47The next second, Ivy gets angry. This zombie doesn't look like a woman. Her innocence is
03:51ruined by a diaper. But soon, she lets it go. Being reborn is a blessing. And it's this zombie
03:56who saved her life. She shall not hold on to this. She guesses you had a daughter before the
04:00apocalypse. After losing her, you see her as your own, showing such tenderness. Watching you,
04:04stiff and clumsy as you change her diaper, Ivy feels both moved and sorry. She imagines your pain,
04:09from a happy family to the apocalypse, and then being a zombie isolated from all.
04:12As a once-kind woman, her heart softens. She decides to accept you as her zombie dad.
04:17After cleaning your home, you think about Ivy's food needs and decide to stock up.
04:21Worried about getting exposed by going out during the day, you choose to move at night.
04:25Before leaving, you lock the door and barricade the stairs in case of intruders.
04:30You know the dark side of humanity. You've witnessed countless survival-driven acts,
04:33so you're cautious. Each nearby home has little, but it adds up to a fair amount of food.
04:38After packing them into a hiking bag, you carry cans of formula and head out.
04:41Meanwhile, after waking up, Ivy finds the room empty. She comfortably takes a dump in her diaper,
04:46then notices the blood moon in the sky. Seems like the evolution era is about to begin.
04:50The blood moon surprises you, but since you're in a zombie apocalypse and have seen similar scenes
04:54in sci-fi, you quickly accept it as a fitting apocalyptic sight. Suddenly, you feel something's
04:59off with your body. A strange heat surges inside you, both alien and familiar, like you're returning
05:04to life. An itchy feeling spreads, as if your head's about to burst. You wonder if your consciousness
05:08is fading, and if you're about to turn into a shambler. Other zombies are also shaking under
05:13the moonlight, experiencing the same changes. Survivors in the moonlight feel their bodies
05:17heat up. Blood flows faster, organs thromb, muscles harden, and bones become more resilient.
05:21In the bedroom, Ivy is bathed in the moonlight. Her body trembles slightly and heats up. You finally
05:27snap back to consciousness. Your surroundings seem the same, but your body has drastically changed.
05:32You're now agile and coordinated, no longer stiff like a zombie. You feel powerful. You can take
05:37longer strides and move faster. Your black veins fade, and your nails look human. You notice the
05:42zombies have changed as well. Their grotesque appearance now almost look human. As you pass one,
05:46a strange sensation rises in you. You find a thin thread connecting you to it. You can send your
05:51thoughts through this thread. Concentrating, you find the connection grows stronger. You successfully
05:56make it perform some moves. Excited, you start experimenting with this new power. You get the
06:01zombie to do odd moves. After repeated tests, you realize you can control two zombies at once,
06:07and distance prevents precise commands. This may be due to your mental power. You name the zombies
06:11you control zombie puppets. After testing their powers, you suddenly think of Ivy. So you make
06:16the puppets carry your supplies and head for Luna Complex. After the Blood Moon's influence, Ivy
06:20awakens from her sleep. Her mind floods with information. She awakens telekinesis, able to lift and
06:26suspend the leaves. And to her surprise, she regains her past life's power, time control. This rebirth keeps
06:31her old power and adds telekinesis. Having two powers excites her. They can make her one of the
06:36strongest. She became an empress with only time control. Telekinesis is effective in apocalypse
06:40battles. For both attack and defense, she tries using her powers. But since her infant body is weak,
06:46her mind aches. Weakness floods her. She realizes her current mental power is low. Still, she's hopeful.
06:51She knows as she grows, her telekinesis will strengthen. She'll far surpass her past. She even
06:56imagines defeating Starworm Queen one day. Hearing a noise outside, she guesses her zombie dad has
07:01returned. She wonders if a conscious zombie can awaken powers after the appearance of the Blood Moon.
07:06Your body has improved because of the Blood Moon. You can control zombies. Worried about Ivy being home
07:12alone, you rush back. Seeing the cabinet untouched, you finally relax. It's your first feeling of
07:17attachment in this world. After moving the cabinet, you see Ivy awake. You've never dated anyone, but
07:22right now, you feel like a dad. Ivy's cuteness calms your restless heart. You walk into the kitchen.
07:26You use bottled water to mix her formula. As you stir the powder, Ivy watches you. She notices your
07:32subtle changes. Your skin is smoother than before. You're starting to look human. Nothing like the
07:37evolved zombies from her memories. In her past life, zombies evolved in many ways. Tank zombies grew
07:42massive, reaching 9 feet in height. Their muscles, skin, and bones grew much stronger. Its resilience made
07:47it like a main battle tank. A nightmare for survivors. The lickers evolved for agility, with strong limbs and
07:53claws. They could cling to walls and ceilings and move with extreme speed and jumps. Their tongues
07:57could extend like whips, deadly enough to take down a survivor camp's leader. Some zombies grew bone
08:02wings from their spines to fly, while others could use elemental attacks. Usually, these special zombies
08:07show obvious traits early. Ivy has high hopes for your evolution. She wants to see you grow strong.
08:13After all, in an apocalypse, power is survival. But seeing your subtle changes, she feels disappointed.
08:18She thinks a zombie with no real evolution is useless. Even so, she still cares for you. She
08:23decides she'll protect you when she grows up. She knows that without you, she'd either be killed by
08:28zombies or starve in her crib. Her gratitude for your rescue and care runs deep. Repaying your parents
08:33shall not just be empty words. She knows zombies evolve either by eating living beings, which is
08:37partly a biological instinct, or by seizing the cores in other zombies' brains. Those special zombies
08:42with extraordinary powers, no matter the type. Develop a unique core in their brains. Even if
08:47your evolution is subtle, she's confident she can seize a core for you, helping you evolve. Then,
08:53you'll speak, and your body will look human. You have no idea what Ivy is thinking. She stares at you
08:57with wide eyes, looking funny. You tell her you've arranged two zombie guards, and even prepared her
09:02toys. There are dolls, plush bears, toy trains, and even robots. Aside from toys, you've brought her
09:09stacks of books. You realize she doesn't have a name yet. Since you live on the ninth floor,
09:13you decide to name her Ninet Lane, nickname Net. You hope it'll remind you of your times on this floor.
09:17You're satisfied with the supplies you gathered. It's enough to keep Net fed. Given the apocalypse's
09:23uncertainty and the changes after the blood moon, you decide to stay home until it's safe. In the
09:28living room, you pick up a one-foot machete. You wonder what kind of job the owner had to own
09:33such a
09:33long, sharp machete. You're stronger after the blood moon. Your reflexes are just like any humans.
09:38You've never trained, but your zombie strength lets you swing the machete smoothly. You imitate moves
09:43from action stories in movies, feeling like you can take on anyone. As you're practicing,
09:48Ivy starts exploring her powers after a short rest. She's familiar with time control. She skips that.
09:54For her telekinesis, she focuses on the silver needles and makes them glide through the air,
09:59though her control is slow. Time passes quickly. Two days fly by. During this time, you train in the
10:04living room, while Ivy practices her telekinesis in the bedroom. Both of you make steady
10:08progress. After feeding Ivy, you hear a noise. Looking outside, you see two zombies fighting
10:14each other despite no food around. This behavior exceeds your understanding of them. Since the
10:18ninth floor is high up, you go to the fourth floor for a clearer view. One zombie is six feet
10:23tall and
10:23muscular. It can crush a car door. The other zombie is slender, but its claws are sharp, easily slicing
10:28through metal. Tank zombie is muscular with strong defense. Agile zombie hits hard but still can't win.
10:33After a brutal fight, tank zombie flings agile zombie aside, cracking its spine, then smashes
10:38its skull with a final blow before extracting a white core from its brain. You're stunned by their
10:42power and grateful you stayed inside. This world is harsher than you imagined. You can't get
10:47complacent just because you evolved. Seeing tank zombie grab the core, a strong desire surges in
10:52you. Instinct tells you it can enhance your body. Can the fight between them be over the cores? When tank
10:57zombie swallows the white core, it lets out a roar, then smashes nearby cars. Shamblers nearby freeze at the
11:03noise, then instinctively back off. Clearly terrified of tank zombie, you suspect the core
11:08boosts a zombie's evolution. The desire for it surpasses even the hunger for flesh. If you eat
11:13one, it'll definitely strengthen your power. But you know you're no match for it now. Strategy is key.
11:18As you glance at the gas tank, a strategy hits you. Meanwhile, Ivy hears the noise outside. She can't
11:23see what's happening, but her experience tells her the blood moon has triggered an evolution.
11:27Zombies and beasts fight to evolve. Human survivors hunt for cores to develop serums and discover
11:32cultivation techniques. Ivy, as the former empress of the human race, had mastered glazed breath method,
11:38the highest level of cultivation. She knows you, being a low-level zombie, won't survive the
11:42apocalypse. She must grow stronger to protect you. Though she's a baby, she can still practice glazed
11:47breath method. She begins by absorbing the energy in the air. After that, her body trembles. Energy
11:52slowly flows into her. She's grateful she can use glazed breath method in the later stages of the
11:57apocalypse. With each breath, massive energy floods her body, making her bones tougher and
12:01strengthening her weak telekinesis. When you return to the bedroom, Ivy is still deep in her practice.
12:06Seeing her tremble, you assume she's cold and cover her with a blanket. Ivy wakes up. She finds her
12:11worried face funny. At the same time, she feels your love. In her past life, she grew up in an
12:15orphanage.
12:16She's never felt a father's love. This is first, though you're a zombie. Once Ned is fine, you begin
12:20considering how to handle that zombie. The bomb needs to be dealt with up close. In the evening, you send
12:25out
12:25puppet number one to provoke tank zombie, who's absorbing core energy. Puppet number
12:30one hits it with a flower before running, luring it to a shop with gas tank set up. Just as
12:34puppet
12:35number one enters. Tank zombie charges forward. Its massive body crashes through the door. Its
12:40enormous fist slams into your puppet, smashing it to pieces. Then, puppet number two enters and
12:45ignites the gas tank. Hit by the explosion, tank zombie roars loudly. When it finally struggles out of
12:50the shop, it collapses at the doorway. After the explosion, you pull back, unaffected by the puppets.
12:55Tank zombie lies at the door, burned to a crisp. Having seen its strength before, you wait for ten
13:00minutes, making sure it's truly dead before approaching. Its face is completely burned, its body severely
13:05damaged. With your machete, you break through its skull. Inside, you find a red and white core. Its allure is
13:11stronger than the white one you've seen. You can tell the white core is the most basic core. By devouring
13:17other cores, your core changes color to red. As more zombies are drawn to the flames, you pocket the core.
13:22You pick two zombies with intact limbs as new puppets to guard downstairs. You go to the third floor. Once
13:27safe,
13:28you can no longer hold back and swallow the core. It dissolves in your body at once. As power surges
13:32through
13:33your limbs and tempers your body, your skin begins to shift toward human form. Other than physique changes,
13:37your strength, agility, and stamina see a nice boost. Your brain takes a heavy hit. After a short dizziness,
13:43your mind becomes clearer and sharper. Controlling zombies feels easier now. You can now manage five
13:47zombies at once and gain new shared vision with your puppets. No longer limited to controlling them
13:52within sight, you can pilot remotely. Tests show your telekinetic range stretches 3,000 feet. Within
13:56this range, you can command your puppets unseen. Your survivability improves. Ivy, hears explosion and
14:02roar of the evolved zombies. She isn't worried about being found, but your long absence has made her
14:07anxious. As a baby, she stands no chance against evolved zombies. She knows the threat such zombies
14:12pose to shamblers in survivor camps. She prays she doesn't lose you, her loving zombie dad. She
14:17tries to practice glazed breath method, but her anxiety makes it impossible to continue. Then,
14:22she hears the door open and breathes a sigh of relief. A smile appears on her face. Low-level
14:26zombies don't know how to unlock doors. Only you will do such a strange, unusual thing. Seeing that
14:31smile as you walk in warms your heart. You can protect her better with your new strength,
14:35so you happily enter the kitchen to prep her milk. Watching her drink contentedly feels like
14:39your decaying body regains a spark of life. Life suddenly finds a new purpose again. Over the
14:44next two days, you use telekinesis to scavenge the area through puppets and turn lower floors into a
14:49warehouse. Besides collecting baby supplies and food, you find tools to fight zombies, like gas tanks,
14:54fire axes, alcohol, crowbars, and more. Your days are spent caring for net or honing your combat skills.
14:59Though the routine is repetitive, you feel a deep sense of fulfillment. You can clearly feel your
15:04strength steadily growing. Ivy spends her days feeding or practicing glazed breath method. She draws
15:09energy from the air to refine her body and sharpen telekinesis. At times, she hears noises in the
15:14living room. Recalling anomalies from days ago, she suspects you've run into Apex zombies with
15:18superpowers. Their pressure and combat skills far exceed shamblers. She assumes as a low-level zombie,
15:23you'll be scared. Shamblers are at the bottom of the food chain and face multiple treats from human
15:28survivors, zombie kins, and mutated beasts. She's moved that despite everything, you still care for
15:33her. In an apocalypse where humanity crumbles, it's precious that you still have a soul.
15:37She has to pick up her cultivation pace. After days of practice, her telekinesis improves.
15:42She can whip silver needles through the air. Combined with time control, she's confident she
15:46can silently kill, but she isn't satisfied. To survive this world, she must grow stronger.
15:50Meanwhile, you search neighboring buildings with puppets. The past owner may be a combat junkie,
15:55so they left countless fighting manuals about striking, clinch work boxing, freestyle fighting,
16:00and grappling, among other close combat moves. Your evolved physique is beyond human. Since your body
16:05isn't stiff, you can pull off complex moves more adeptly. Zombies attack in rough, crude ways,
16:10but human combat is scientific and efficient. Though your evolution isn't close combat focused,
16:15you believe these skills can make up for physical weakness. As a zombie, you don't fear being bitten,
16:20so you can use weapons aggressively. After absorbing and training the basics,
16:23you lead the puppets to the sixth floor and turn them into sparring partners. A zombie who knows combat
16:27is unstoppable. After drills, you realize theory and solo practice aren't enough for real-world fights.
16:33Real combat is the only way to hone your senses and read your opponent. After many battles,
16:38your progress is undeniable. You punch faster, you attack with accuracy, and you dodge as you fight.
16:43You learn joint locks to dislocate limbs. You can now fight shamblers easily. From a combat rookie,
16:48you're now a skilled brawler. Better yet, you can multitask. So as you train, you have the puppets
16:53search for supplies through shared vision. That's when you spot two zombies looting on the third floor
16:57of Sunshine Complex. Now, 1. Suddenly, a crimson figure appears with terrifying speed. If not for the
17:02marks on the floor, you'd think you'd been seeing things. You control a puppet to track it. Minutes
17:07later, you finally get a clear look. Its appearance is horrifying. Its skin is peeling off. Its brain
17:12exposed. Its teeth and tongue are deformed. Its hands and feet have beastly claws. Unable to stand,
17:17it crawls on all fours. But it has unmatched speed and explosive power. It scales walls and ceilings
17:22with ease. Facing crimson zombie, even your puppets show fear. It moves like lightning and instantly
17:27kills your two puppets. What the hell is it? After your vision returns, you're still shaking.
17:31The blood moon has pushed zombie evolution beyond imagination. You aren't strong to face that
17:36zombie. Even five puppets will be wiped out at once. You only hope it stays away from building
17:41number five. With no time to waste, you spar with zombies daily to improve yourself. A week later,
17:46you face three hulking zombies at once. You move flexibly in a tight space, dodge their attacks,
17:51and find the chance to beat them with unique moves. While practicing, you send the puppets out to gather
17:56supplies and make finding evolved zombies a new goal. Crimson zombie is a tough nut to crack and
18:02out of your league. As for hulk zombies and agile zombies, through trial and error, you confirm
18:07cores mostly grow in their brains. In the bedroom, Ivy continues cultivating. She absorbs energy with
18:13glazed breath method. Her telekinesis skyrockets from barely moving a silver needle. She now levitates
18:18an inch off the ground. To humans, flying has always been a dream. She can't fly yet,
18:23but through continuous training, she's learned to protect herself. She has no idea that if any
18:28major survivor camps find out, they'll be desperate to recruit her. A baby capable of
18:32levitation is an incredible feat. After training on the sixth floor, you have puppets clean up
18:36dismantled zombies. You're about go upstairs and feed net when a puppet reports a new discovery.
18:41In a nearby street, a lean agile zombie with mutated claws and incredible speed is hunting a gaunt,
18:46frail human survivor. The human survivor was finding food, only to run into the evolved
18:51zombie. Agile zombie is amazingly fast. It uses its claws to drift off a car door,
18:56quickly catches up, and kills the survivor. Watching it, you know it's time. Ever since
19:00the core gave you a boost of power, you've been addicted to strength. First, you send a puppet to
19:04tail and monitor agile zombie, while dispatching four more armed with fire axes. Once they regroup,
19:10you have them mimic shamblers and spread out in a semi-circle formation. Slowly, they close in as
19:15agile zombie feasts on the survivor. This positioning is tactical. Agile zombie is fast
19:19and highly lethal. A reckless charge may wipe out the puppets. When they're just 30 feet from agile
19:23zombie, you control the puppets to charge. Agile zombie dodges most attacks speedily,
19:27but your tactic works. Its right arm and back are slashed, but a puppet's axe gets stuck between its
19:33ribs. Agile zombie angrily rips off the puppet's head. Two puppets attacks from the front, drawing its
19:37attention, while two takes the chance to strike again. Agile zombie may be powerful to bat away the front
19:42attacks, but it can't dodge a brutal slash in the waist. The injured zombie sprints and tears
19:47another head, but the remaining three puppets rush in. It can't dodge the rain of axe strikes.
19:52The zombie finally falls. After killing agile zombie, the remaining puppets harvest the core
19:57and swiftly retreat to the complex. Back home, you station puppets at the door and take the core to
20:01the sixth floor. It's identical to the core you swallowed, which is a red and white core. Agile zombie
20:06seemingly has devoured a core. You swallow it and feel the power surge through you. After that,
20:10your power increases. Your telekinesis is stronger. You can now control 10 zombies at once,
20:15and your control range expands to 2 miles. Excited by your new strength, you head downstairs,
20:20pick 10 strong zombies, and arm them with fire axes. A formidable zombie squad is formed. Your
20:25confidence soars. You start dreaming of a zombie army and conquering the world with telekinesis and
20:30puppets. You even have a mass army strategy. Despite your ego boost, you haven't forgotten the crimson
20:35zombie. After fighting agile zombie, the comparison frightens you. Even with 10 puppets,
20:40you know little about the monster to guarantee a win. You'll send puppets in a few days to test its
20:44true strength. It's a ticking time bomb, and you can't rest easy. In 3 days, the sixth floor becomes
20:49a training zone. By sparring with zombies, your evolved body has improved in every way, including
20:53strength, speed, reflexes, and durability. You can now handle a swarm of 5 shamblers. With combat skills
21:00and strength combined, you can drop zombies or crush their skulls. You nod in satisfaction. You finally
21:05feel like that of an apocalypse survivor. After training, you have your puppets clean up stray parts,
21:10you wash off blood and head to feed net. Seeing her innocent grin, you can't help but smile,
21:14too. Her appetite is getting stronger. After feeding, you entertain her with toys. Ivy looks
21:19at the way you awkwardly try to amuse her and feels completely deadpan. She may look like a baby,
21:24but deep down, she's a cold, matured, and ruthless empress. How can childish toys possibly interest her?
21:30Still, it's your gesture of goodwill, so she smiles. When you try harder after seeing her smile,
21:35she can't help but sigh. Being too kind clearly has its drawbacks. Fine, she will see it as
21:40telekinesis training. After playing with Ivy, you decide to challenge Crimson Zombie. You pick 10
21:44large, intact zombies from the horde. Armed with fire axes, they look formidable, but it's not enough.
21:50Remembering the motorcycle shop on the corner, you smash the door and gear each puppet with a
21:55helmet. You believe this boosts the squad's lethality. The head is a zombie's fatal weakness.
21:59Protect the head, and they won't yield. Even with torn bodies, they can fight back with axes as long
22:04as their skulls are intact. Once fully prepped, you remotely pilot the revamped squad toward building
22:09number 1. With limited telekinetic range and poor close combat skill, you command the squad from
22:14building number 5. The squad cautiously enters the first floor, checking every room and corner,
22:18especially the ceiling, wary of the monster's wall scaling and surprise attacks. Soon, the puppets
22:23clear four floors without a trace of Crimson Zombie. Little do they know, it is clinging to a blind spot
22:28on the fifth floor. When the squad climbs up, it suddenly attacks. One strike sends the lead puppet
22:33flying, but the helmet holds, and the puppet survives. Swiftly, you control the squad to swing
22:38their axes. If Ivy is here, she'll recognize the zombie at once. It is the evolved licker after the
22:43apocalypse. In her past life, it caused massive casualties during the beginning. Enraged, the licker
22:49swats the puppets away with its claws, but under your control, they ignore their wounds and grab its
22:53claws as axes come crashing. Though the licker is trapped, it manages to leap away despite the
22:58brutal strikes. To boost combat edge, you master axe striking mechanics and tries to focus on
23:02swinging on a target point. Finally, three puppets sever the licker's arm. A wounded licker leaps to
23:07the ceiling. Your puppets hurl their axes, but it's just too fast. The speed, power, and accuracy of
23:13your low-level puppets drop. The licker shatters a window, climbs the outer wall, and disappears in
23:17seconds. You curse at yourself for underestimating it. Even with 10 well-equipped puppets, you let it
23:22escape. The licker is incredibly fast and scales the walls like flat ground. It's now on high alert and may
23:27take revenge. You're glad the puppets' helmets minimize loss, but now, your biggest fear is if
23:32it ever slips to building number 5. If it lurks in the complex and finds net, you'll be defenseless
23:37against its unique attack. You pull yourself together and map out a defense plan. Three strong,
23:42armored puppets patrol building, number 5. So even if the licker sneaks in, you'll be alerted in time.
23:47The rest continues hunting for evolved zombies. You feel excited after devouring two cores,
23:51thinking you're getting strong. But the licker makes you realize that you're just a small fry.
23:55Up in the bedroom, Ivy's telekinesis grows significantly. She's now maneuvering two dolls
24:00and making them dance in the air. As a former empress, she never likes such toys, but she doesn't
24:04want your gifts wasted. Plus, the toys turn out perfect for practicing telekinesis. Sensing your
24:09return, she quickly hugs them tight. When you see net playing happily, your mood lifts. Little one,
24:14the world is too dark and in ruins. I hope you won't grow up feeling disappointed by it. You'll surely
24:19grow up as carefree as you are now, and I hope both of us will make it through this apocalypse.
24:23With that, you gravely snap toward the window, then search for planks and nails to seal it.
24:27Ivy watches you in confusion. You haven't left for days, and now you're sealing the windows.
24:32Have you sensed how powerful evolved zombies are, and decided to escape the outer chaos in fear?
24:36To her, that's the only logical explanation. You seem like a total coward to her,
24:40but she's missing the obvious that everything you're doing is to keep her safe.
24:45After the blood moon, evolved humans start to appear. They used to flee and panic from shamblers.
24:49But now, even regular humans can hunt down low-level zombies with ease. You keep hammering
24:54away. After a while, the window defenses are up. You leave gaps for light and ventilation so it's
24:59safe and not a suffocating cage for net. It will also buy time if the liquor appears. In the next
25:04three days, the liquor hides away, but you keep patrols up around the building and refuse to lower
25:09your guard. Zombies don't eat, sleep, or ask for pay, so it'll be a waste not to use them.
25:13Suddenly, a mental pulse hits your brain. A puppet searching for supplies two streets away
25:18encounters human survivors. At first, they think it's just a shambler, but when it turns its head,
25:23they're terrified. Among them, a muscular man, Bob, charges at it with an iron rod. You swing a fire
25:28axe to retaliate, but you're shocked when they clash. The puppets you chose are strong in build,
25:32and zombies are naturally stronger than ordinary humans. But Bob is unbelievably strong. Powerful
25:37force from his iron rod numbs the puppet's arm. His insane strength sends the axe flying. He crushes
25:42the puppet's skull brutally and stands over the corpse, puzzled. He thinks, the world's gone crazy.
25:46Even zombies use weapons now. Is this a new breed of evolved zombie? But he doesn't dwell on it and
25:51tells his companions to move the supplies. Wary of drawing evolved zombies over, seeing him take
25:56down a zombie with a single blow, the others start sucking up to him as they grab food. Good thing
26:00Bob's here, or we'll never find this much food. Yeah. Evolved zombies are nothing. With Bob's strength,
26:06one swing is all it takes. Well, having a powerful protector means survival. So, everyone flatters him
26:11with fake smiles. Bob himself is pleased by the flattery. You're surprised to find survivors a
26:16month after the fall, especially a strong man like Bob, who fought your puppet. He's most likely an
26:21evolved human, as humans are hardly powerful. Recalling the zombie's evolution after the blood
26:25moon, you realize the world's changes are complex. All sorts of creatures may have evolved. Given
26:29humanity's intelligence, survivors may target your supplies, endangering you in net. You decide not to
26:35send your puppets there. After the encounter with the survivors, several more days pass. You've stopped
26:40collecting supplies because your puppets are so efficient. Building number 5 is filled with all
26:44kinds of resources. Meanwhile, Ivy has been practicing glazed breath method. Her telekinetic
26:49abilities have improved greatly. She's now using her power to practice crawling on the bed. As she
26:54gains better control over her body, she crawls faster and faster. Finally, she learns to walk. At that
27:00moment, you step inside. When you see that, your jaw drops. Is this a dream? How could she be walking
27:06at a
27:06few months old? You're first shocked, then filled with joy. You'd planned for her to adapt to the
27:10apocalypse, but never expected her to walk so soon. You carry her outside, thinking a flat surface can
27:15help her practice. With her power, she quickly adapts to walking. But due to her limited strength,
27:20she stops after a moment of practice. Thinking she's tired, you carry her to the couch. Then,
27:24you practice with a machete on the balcony. After consuming the core, your evolution speed and
27:28strength improve. You swing the steel machete, and the air cuts with the sound of whooshing blades.
27:32Your current practice is based on martial arts memories from your past life. You're just
27:36mimicking simple moves. But you believe as long as you're fast and strong, you can defeat others.
27:41Ivy sees you practicing and is shocked. She thought you were a shambler, but you can use weapons with
27:46conciseness, giving you an advantage over low-level zombies. As a former empress, she's experienced in
27:51combat and weapon training. She thinks your sword play is a joke. It looks flashy, but it's full of
27:56holes and lacks real power. It drains energy, to no avail. If you ever face a stronger opponent,
28:01you'll be wiped out in an instant. Seeing her staring at you, you think she's impressed. You
28:06feel proud, so you swing the machete harder. Earlier, you just saw Nat walk. Excited, you swing
28:11the machete again, but Ivy is utterly unimpressed. As a former empress, she's seen it all. She
28:16realizes you have no real skill. At the same time, she understands why she hears those noises
28:21downstairs. You must feel the external threat, so you're trying to get stronger. Your sword play is
28:25poor, but it's how a shambler tries to survive. Survivors of her past life would work out. She
28:30understands this. You think Nat is interested in your sword play, so you plan to teach her.
28:34You never imagine a girl would take such an interest in this. You let her play in the living
28:38room on the sixth floor, while you practice on the balcony. She continues practicing walking
28:43and telekinesis. Under your watch, she's progressing at a remarkable speed. She's like a prodigy.
28:48Ivy grows more anxious as the apocalypse intensifies. She knows the situation is dire for both of you,
28:53and this is just the beginning. Things will only get worse. For shamblers like you, there's no
28:58room to survive for much longer. Just as you two are working on your improvements,
29:02an angry roar echoes from outside the building. You control a puppet to head toward the greenbelt.
29:07There, you find two evolved zombies engaged in battle. One is a tank zombie, nearly eight feet tall,
29:12muscular, with strong arms and devastating attack power. You've seen it devour a fellow zombie's
29:16core. The other is a monster zombie, crouched on all fours. It's quick and powerful. It's the
29:21crimson zombie you've fought before. Only now, its wounds have healed. The regenerated arm leaves you
29:26puzzled. The two powerful zombies are clashing intensely. The noise is terrifying. You suspect
29:31they're likely after each other's course. Despite their strength, you decide to take the risk. You
29:36leave the room and call on your puppets. You tell them to approach with weapons and helmets.
29:40Ivy hears the roar and wonders why you've left. She can tell those are not shamblers. Heading out now
29:45will be suicide. She doesn't understand why you left. He thinks he's an expert after practicing for
29:51days. But for now, Ivy can't help you stop the fight. All she can do is pray. Meanwhile,
29:56your puppets have surrounded the two monsters. Tank zombie is huge. Every attack creates deep
30:00craters in the ground. Crimson zombie is quick and agile. They're locked in a fierce battle.
30:04Crimson zombie strikes fast, but can't land a fatal blow on tank zombie. Meanwhile, tank zombie
30:09misses most of its attacks. After a long, intense fight, things escalate. Crimson zombie rips off
30:15tank zombie's arm. Tank zombie smashes crimson zombie's left leg, but its fighting power drops.
30:20In the end, crimson zombie defeats it. Just as it's about to claim tank zombie's core,
30:24you order your hidden puppets to charge. Crimson zombie roars, trying to push them away,
30:28but they aren't intimidated. In the open space, it can't climb walls. As it hesitates,
30:33your puppets surround it. Your puppets hack away, severing both of its legs. Eventually,
30:37you manage to get two evolved zombie's cores. You rush back home and take out the cores,
30:42noticing they're mostly red. You deduce the zombie evolution pattern. Consuming cores makes them
30:46stronger. The more they eat, the redder their core grows. When it's completely red,
30:50they may evolve. You position your puppets in the stairwell, then hurry to the third floor to
30:54swallow the cores. The power spreads through your body, bringing in evolution. Your wounds begin to
30:59heal. Your body becomes stronger. The dark veins under your skin fade. Muscles tighten. But because
31:04you ate two red and white cores, your mind takes a massive hit. You pass out from it. Ivy,
31:09waiting on the ninth floor, hears the zombie roars fade away. She grows anxious when you haven't
31:13returned. She thinks you're a shambler. Fighting evolved zombies can lead to death. She thinks her
31:18situation grows worse. Finally, you regain consciousness. The pain subsides, and your
31:22mind's clear. You feel power surge through your body. One punch shatters a closet panel. You quickly
31:27test your jumping and running abilities. You can clearly feel your body has massively improved in
31:32every way. And with continuous evolution, your skin now looks human again. You're confident with
31:37your current body. Even against other evolved zombies, you can defend yourself. You realize that
31:41your mind has evolved. You can now control 30 zombie puppets. The range of your power has expanded
31:46to 5 miles. This is a huge leap in your power. You just consumed two cores. Your physical strength
31:51has grown, and your skin now appears almost human. You suspect you've entered the second stage. A bold
31:55thought emerges in your mind. If you can control evolved zombies, your combat power will skyrocket.
32:01You order your puppets to search within a 3,000-foot radius for evolved zombies. You're in a great mood
32:06because you've taken out crimson zombie hiding in the shadows. As you enjoy the power boost from your
32:11evolution, Ivy is rolling around in anxiety on the couch. You have been out for so long. She fears
32:17you're already someone else's meal. Just as she's feeling down, the lock on the door suddenly rattles.
32:22She jumps in surprise, but quickly realizes it's you. Opening a door is something no low-level zombie
32:27can do. Excited, she runs to you. But she's still getting the hang of walking, so she's wobbling.
32:32You crouch down to help her, but to your shock, she calls out dad. Your body freezes, like you've been
32:38struck by lightning. You can't believe it. You're stunned that net can now call you dad.
32:42It's your first time being a father in two lifetimes. You're amazed and excited. Ivy is
32:47also surprised to have uttered her first word. Having been reborn, she's not entirely unused
32:51to speaking. She hasn't practiced speaking as she only has you since the apocalypse. Thrilled that
32:55you're safe, she burst out saying her first word. You're already family to her. Reuniting with those
33:00she thought she'd lost brings her joy. Though she's used to separations, filled with the joy of being a
33:04father yet unable to speak as you're a zombie, you can only growl to express your delight. Gazing at
33:09net, you're thankful you can witness her growth. Also, you're no longer concerned about her speech.
33:14Instead, her talent amazes you. You think she's gifted. Ivy quickly runs over when she sees you
33:18preparing her milk. Dad, no milk. As she talks, she shows you her baby teeth. Pausing, you blush with
33:24shame. To think she's growing so quickly, and her teeth have grown. New to parenthood, you're flustered,
33:29but you soon get going and start making porridge on the sixth floor. You even stir in her formula milk
33:33to make milk porridge, a simple baby food. You nod with satisfaction at the bowl of dense milk porridge.
33:38This is baby food fit for the apocalypse. Noting your clumsiness, Ivy takes the spoon and feeds
33:43herself. Although the food you make is simple, she isn't picky. She's used to the harsh conditions
33:47and appreciates having a different meal. It's better than only feeding on milk. Seeing that she
33:52enjoys the food, you exclaim inwardly at how a net has grown. Suddenly, Ivy notices your transformation.
33:57You used to be just like other shamblers, thin, weak, and reeking of decay. But now,
34:01you're muscular and have glowed up. At a glance, you look like human. Especially when using the
34:05machete, you've mastered it and are now skilled in combat despite never receiving training. Can
34:10zombies, like human, improve their physique through training? But Ivy soon stops mulling over it.
34:15After all, you're the first shambler she's met that's conscious. It may even be the zombie's secret.
34:20Your growth reminds her of a training method from her previous life. She considers teaching it to you to
34:24help you improve and increase your survivability. She's also curious about zombies' training and
34:29evolvement. Through absorbing cores and evolving, your physique and combat skills have greatly improved.
34:34With a weapon, you can even put up a fight with evolved zombies in close combat. Your improvement
34:38fills you with confidence. Just then, your puppet spots an evolved tank zombie that's feeding.
34:43It's a chance for you to try controlling evolved zombies. To stay hidden, you and your puppets
34:48disguise as shamblers, slowly nearing the target. Within 300 feet of the evolved tank zombie,
34:52you feel its intimidating presence. You try to control it with telekinesis but face resistance.
34:57It fights back, growling, but you're now stronger. You finally overpower it, making it your puppet.
35:02Controlling the evolved zombie drains your mind, but it's still bearable. You're elated to have
35:06succeeded. It'll definitely be of great help in combat, as it has incredibly strong arms compared
35:11to shamblers. It's stronger than an entire puppet squad. You name the zombie titan right after
35:15controlling it and appointing it as the leader of your puppet squad. Titan is huge, with immense strength
35:20and strong defenses. Equipping it with two 1 0 0 pound hammers, you turn it into a formidable balanced unit.
35:26You lead titan in your puppets back and order titan to guard building number 5,
35:30securing the base better. Realizing how useful evolved zombies are, you continue sending your
35:34puppets in search of other zombies. So far, you've learned that evolving requires absorption of course.
35:39With titan in your team, you believe you can defeat any lone evolved zombie. Meanwhile,
35:43Ivy keeps practicing glazed breath method. It strengthens both her body and her telekinesis.
35:48She can now walk and even hop. She practices, controlling males, brutally slamming them into the dining
35:53table. With that and time control, she can defend herself early in the apocalypse.
35:58Resolve flickers in her eyes as she stares at the bleak world outside. Soon, I believe I can
36:02protect that as we forage for supplies. Ivy knows you train hard but doesn't think that
36:06shamblers can defy their genetic constraint by mere training and fighting evolved beings.
36:10She decides to kill more evolved zombies with her skills for cores to help you grow stronger.
36:14Though unsure how absorbing cores may affect shamblers, she hopes it works in your favor.
36:18While Ivy is busy planning for your and her future, you're sparring with 10 zombies on the sixth floor.
36:24You don't look much different from them, but your gap in combat power is vast. You're like a normal
36:28sedan in a Ferrari, similar in size, but a world of difference in horsepower. As you spar, you feel
36:34an inward tug. It turns out a puppet has spotted a huge mutated zombie dog in the base. It's almost
36:39six feet tall, muscular, and has tough black fur. Fierce, with the might of an evolved zombie,
36:43it kills a low-level puppet instantly. You send Titan, waving its hammers,
36:47it overpowers the dog with brute force. Taking its chance, it crushes the dog's front paws and ends
36:52it with a fatal stab. Eyeing the dog's body, you feel pleased. But its blood has attracted a horde
36:57of zombies. Before you can order Titan to retrieve its core, an evolved tank zombie on par with Titan
37:02appears. The zombie is eyeing both the dog's body and Titan's core. As they fight, the impact wipes
37:07out their surroundings. Though both are of equal strength, Titan gains an edge with your aid. The
37:12low-level puppets then join in, but the difference in strength is too vast. Their fire axes inflict
37:17little harm to the opponent. Some are even crushed. Your underhanded attempt to try to
37:21outnumber the zombie eventually pisses it off. Facing its wrath, you order Titan to use its
37:25hammers, and its strength increases immensely. Titan breaks the zombie's legs with the hammers,
37:30toppling it over. The other puppets swarm it, kill it, and retrieve its core. You laugh.
37:34After searching for evolved zombies for days, two have appeared simultaneously. You obtain two cores
37:39from the dog and the tank zombie. You realize mutated beings' cores resemble zombie cores,
37:43and your body craves it nonetheless, thus believing it's safe to eat. After all,
37:47you're a zombie now. You can't be picky about food. You swallow both the cores,
37:51and a surge of energy arises within you. But now, being an advanced zombie, you only gain a small
37:56boost from cores of normal zombies. But your mental power recuperates, enough to control another evolved
38:01zombie. Just then, Titan returns with the dog's body. You tear off a huge chunk of meat, but you
38:05realize you crave it less than before. You used to fight other zombies over a mere piece of frozen meat.
38:10It's much better this way. You pass the carcass to Titan after a few bites.
38:14As Titan devours the rest of it, his wounds start healing with shocking speed.
