00:00Of course, the crown goes to royalty. Meghan Markle and Timothee Chalamet have been
00:05named 2019's most influential stars in fashion. According to fashion's search site
00:11List, which uses data from 104 million online shoppers in 2019 to rank the 10
00:16most influential power dressers, the Duchess of Sussex and the King star topped the list.
00:21The numbers were measured in terms of stars whose personal style choices drove the
00:25biggest spikes in searches, sales, news coverage and social media mentions over
00:29the last 12 months. For Timothee, it seems like the honor was due in part to his
00:33Golden Globes harness, which Louis Vuitton actually referred to as a bib, and the
00:37buzzy sequin hoodie he wore to the premiere of The King, which also made quite the impression.
00:41And it comes as no surprise that Meghan Markle topped this year's list. Just one year after
00:46marrying Prince Harry in a jaw-dropping Givenchy gown, the royal has gone on to wear some
00:50standout statement pieces that's collected buzz all year round. Meghan also went on to
00:55design her own charity capsule of work attire to benefit unemployed women in the UK.
00:59Rounding out this year's list is Zendaya, who just last month presented her stylist
01:03with InStyle's Stylist of the Year award, calling him her fashion fairy godbrother,
01:08which of course was a nod to their show-stopping light-up Cinderella look at the
01:122019 Met Gala that was designed by Tommy Hilfiger. Billie Eilish, who wore a knock-off
01:16Louis Vuitton suit at Coachella this year and spiked online searches for neon green
01:21after she dyed her hair. Cardi B, who creates clothing capsules with Fashion Nova.
01:25Lisa from the K-pop girl group Blackpink, who led the demand for the Selene Triumph
01:30bag. Kylie Jenner, who just sold a 51% stake in her Kylie Cosmetics brand to Cody
01:35for $600 million. Lizzo, who's spoken to The Hollywood Reporter about her self-empowered
01:40fashion choices, saying she's a bad bitch that takes risks and wears whatever she wants.
01:45And gender-bending fashion icons Harry Styles and Billie Porter, who both made THR's best
01:50dress list for this year's Met Gala. For more on this year's influential stars in fashion,
