00:00A Florida man has been arrested after deputies say he hit 110 miles per hour while racing a
00:05Corvette through a 45 mile per hour zone. That alone is just crazy town, but here's the twist.
00:11The driver is 85 years old. According to the Lake County Sheriff's Office, Williams Bosworth was
00:17behind the wheel of a Nissan 350Z convertible when he was spotted alongside a red Chevrolet
00:23Corvette in the town of Leesburg. Body camera video shows an officer walking up to Bosworth's
00:28car as the 85 year old sat there puffing on a cigar. I mean, baller move there. Deputies say they
00:34clocked Bosworth at 110 miles per hour and the Corvette at 125. Now Bosworth insisted he wasn't
00:42racing, telling the officer he was just out for a ride in his favorite car and had only sped up
00:47to
00:47get away from the other driver. Yeah, okay, grease lightning. The deputy wasn't buying it either,
00:52telling Bosworth, quote, I know what street racing looks like when I see it, before placing the
00:57octogenarian in handcuffs. Bosworth and the 57 year old driver of the Corvette were both arrested
01:02on charges of street racing and dangerous excessive speeding. So let this be a lesson. You may be
01:07eligible for social security. You may have been alive during World War II, but that doesn't mean
01:12you get to try out for the Daytona 500 on residential streets.
