00:08Quentin Tarantino's star-studded film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is just a few
00:12weeks away from hitting theaters and now the film is tracking to hit $30 million
00:16plus in the box office when it opens on July 26. The movie, led by an all-star cast
00:20that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, has just three weeks
00:25left to make its final marketing push and some even say the film could come closer
00:29to opening in the $50 million range. The Sony film could also be a different offering
00:34for viewers in the summer, which is typically dominated by blockbusters.
00:37Tarantino's previous project, Django Unchained, opened to $30.1 million in December of 2012.
00:44Inglorious Basterds, which launched in late August 2009, opened to $38.1 million
00:49and was a career best for the filmmaker. So a $30 million start from Once Upon a Time
00:53in Hollywood would still be right on par with the rest of Tarantino's work.
00:57The film made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May and currently boasts a
01:0192 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The story is set in 1969 and follows a faded
01:06television star played by DiCaprio and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth, played by
01:10Pitt, as they try to navigate their way through the ever-changing Hollywood.
01:14Robbie plays actress Sharon Tate, who lives next door. The film is also set to address the
01:18late actress' murder by the Manson Gang. For more on the story and more box office updates,
