00:06Reality TV star turned entrepreneur and lawyer-in-training Kim Kardashian has yet
00:11another business that she's really passionate about. Kim announced the big news on
00:14Tuesday on Instagram and notes that it'll be offered in sizes extra extra small to
00:184XL and in nine different shades of nude. But the line is facing some backlash from
00:23some critics who comment that it's not actually all-inclusive. According to the
00:27website, Kimono is fueled by her passion to create truly considered and highly
00:31technical solutions for every body type. But some social media critics pointed out that
00:35the images of models teasing the new collection were anything but inclusive. One
00:39comment said, she says for every body, but the only bodies shown are what society wants.
00:43Another said, if you need a 4X model, I'm here. According to Kim, what sets this apart from
00:48other shapewear, aka Spanx and other brands, is that the shapewear is cut to tailor to
00:52specific outfits that reveal more than some clothing designs allow, such as one item in
00:56the collection, the Solution Short, which is an asymmetrical bike short style shaper that's
01:01cut higher on one leg. Kim notes, Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women
01:05that actually work. I developed this style for all of those times I wanted to wear a dress
01:09or a skirt with a slit and still needed the support. The Kimono Collection is set to launch
01:13next month and includes traditional briefs, bralettes, a bodysuit, along with other items.
