09:28who he is supposed to protect, and that follow him kind of thing, to come with him and leave the

09:34And they didn't, you know, no one wanted to do that.
09:38They didn't trust him, or they didn't care for him enough.

09:41Not even, like, you would think, like, maybe a couple would, but he's a nobody, which is more wild.
09:47Because you would think that some people still had, on the Uchiha side, kind of like Tobirama does.

09:53Where he doesn't quite trust the Uchiha, and he's against Madara, and that kind of side.
09:56You figure there'd be some Uchiha who would be like that, and that they would follow Madara,

10:05So at that point, like, he didn't feel...

11:49If you look at Hashirama and Madara at, like, the river, it's like the...

11:55They don't know who they're supposed to fight.
11:57They're being told who to hate and who to fight against, you know?
12:00But as a kid, you're just like, oh, person, hi, how are you?
12:03There's an innocence and a friendliness that's kind of naturally there until it's, oh, no, you're not supposed to like
12:09that person kind of thing.
12:10And then Madara grew up with that and the hatred with losing his family and brothers, and Hashirama fought against
12:16it more so.
12:18But not every kid can fight against that ideal from their family, their clan, their, you know, whatever.
12:24Madara fell to it more and more, and now he has no brothers, no siblings, but...
12:29I don't know.
12:29I do like the one conversation point that Madara brings up as far as what he's feeling.
12:34It's like, if it was to sacrifice, to save the village, would you choose me to sacrifice or Toby Rama
12:40to sacrifice?
12:40Like, you call me brother, but I have no brothers.
12:44Am I really your brother?
12:45And it's like, you would save Toby Rama over me.
12:47Would I ever be more of a brother to you than Toby Rama, your actual brother?
12:52How close are we really in looking at, like, clans?
12:55And now his own clan may not even look at him as, like, a brother, you know?
13:00Whenever they say, like, they killed our brothers.
13:02Like, I don't think they literally mean...
13:03There are some of, they killed our brothers, but the clan is their brothers kind of thing,
13:08and they just keep fighting back and forth the whole time, you know?
13:11So, Madara can't escape it, but Hashirama is trying to.
13:15And he hasn't succumbed to the same things that Toby Rama went with, you know?
13:20I don't know if that's because of him being the older brother, but...
13:23And he felt different from the beginning, even with having the same dad and having to kick
13:30against all those biases and...

13:33And maybe that's it, too, of, like, the loss of their brothers.
13:36Like, they both had loss of their brothers.
13:39Whereas he went and was, like, trying to figure out how to deal with it at a river and crying
13:45and stuff, too, with that and showing his emotions there.
13:48Where Toby Rama was with his dad, feeling the hatred side of it, you know?
13:53And then instead, like, he found, you know, Hashirama found someone else to talk to,
13:58and they didn't have a hatred, and that aspect didn't exist.
14:03So he started to try to repair the loss with a different way than Toby Rama might have done.
14:08I mean, that's what helped.
14:09I don't know.
14:10Yeah.
14:12But I wonder what this will do with Sasuke, because, like, I feel like,
14:14with what Madara has said of different things, like, the Leaf Village came wanting peace.
14:20Hashirama was pushing, wanting peace.
14:23Madara just left unwilling to try, really, you know?
14:28Exactly what Sasuke is doing in Naruto.
14:30He's just unwilling to try.
14:32Like, let's make peace and be friends and see where we can take this and what could grow
14:38and be better, as opposed to just continuing the hatred side of things.
14:42And then, you know, Hashirama dies, and you get into the second Hokage,
14:45and he pushes towards that, and you get into the third Hokage,
14:47and you have Danza doing bullshit stuff, and then Uchiha are all dead now, you know?

14:54I wonder if through all of this, Sasuke is going to see parallels between Hashirama and Naruto
15:01and Madara and himself, where, like, Sasuke is trying to bring the village together
15:08and make it work, but Sasuke is the one that's still trying to tear it apart,
15:15do war to it.
15:17Yeah, because he's like, I want to destroy the Leaf.
15:19And hold on to things from the past and use that to fuel his fight.
15:25I like the representation of the story and what it is that the village is meant to represent.

16:54And, you know, you and everyone that you cared about before this arrangement is just going to have a shitty

17:09It's difficult to convince someone that it's worth it to them when they could just go away and not have
17:16to deal with all that.
17:18See, I'd respect it if it was just go away and not deal with that.

17:23I understand if, like, hey, there's been a drought and the land isn't giving us our crops, so I'm pissed.
17:29But you don't, like, come back, you know, years later and say, hey, remember that and just burn everything down.

17:35But, I mean, it is an injustice that was done to the Uchiha clan.
