00:26Can we expect VP Sara to personally attend?
00:29Well, sa ngayon po, hindi pa namin napag-uusapan.
00:33Parati ko namang sinasabi na yung presensya, meaning yung physical presence ng ating Vice Presidente,

00:41It is something that the defense team will have to determine an advisor on.

01:23Well, actually, just to clarify, ang hinihingi po natin ayon sa ating pre-trial brief is at least 30 trial

02:17Ang sabi ng clerk of court ng Senate Impeachment Court, Attorney Powa, papayagan daw yung surprise witnesses.

02:30Well, sa amin meron din kami po mga reservations.
02:32May mga, kung baga may nereserve kami, para lang hindi tayo ma-misconstrued.
02:38Ibig sabihin po nun, meron kaming mga nereserve na witnesses.
02:41Meron kami mga witnesses na hindi muna pinangalanan para mapangalagaan din yung kanilang siguridad.
02:47At naayon naman po yan, dun sa notice of pre-trial na naibigay sa atin.
02:52Definitely, sa ngayon po tayo na magkaroon muna ng abiso, three days or whatever is agreed upon, days before the
03:01witness is presented.
03:02Para sa ganun naman po, ay makapaghanda ang bawat panic.
03:05May sinabi po si Atty. Tolosa, sinubukan daw unkatin ng defense team yung issue tungkol sa number of votes to
03:12convict.
03:13Pero ito daw ay binaril ng House Prosecution.
03:16Ano ang posisyon ng defense tungkol sa votes to convict, Atty.
03:19Well, sa ngayon, yan po ay kasi na-raised during the closed-door session.
03:25So, to be honest with you, Sir Ivan, I beg your indulgence.
03:28Baka hindi kasi appropriate na i-disclose ko yung mga napag-usapan doon.
03:32Pero, definitely, meron tayong legal position dyan.
03:35For us, the Constitution is clear.
03:37But, baka premature pa kasi na talakayan natin yan.
03:42Dahil sa ngayon naman, wala pang categorical pronouncement ang impeachment court.
03:46Kung magkakaroon ba ng lowering ng threshold, et cetera.
03:51So, sa atin, haka-haka pa lang naman yan sa ngayon.
03:55Parang hindi pa tama na we address the issue.
03:58Siguro po, pag nagkaroon na po ng pronouncement talaga ang impeachment court,
04:02titignan natin kung yun ba'y naayon o hindi naayon sa ating posisyon.
04:06And we will make the proper response at that appropriate time.
