00:00Something that's come up as significant in a lot of the post-match press conferences and mix zone chat was
00:06the halftime team talk.
00:08Harry Kane talked about how Thomas Tuchel asked his players to go man to man off the ball and just
00:12to be braver.
00:13Tuchel said himself he sat down with his players, he was calm, he just tried to encourage them and basically
00:18tell them to be brave and do the things that they have been doing over the past few months and
00:23that seemed to work.
00:24Is there a sense that maybe there's an example of just having that kind of world-class winner mentality manager
00:30in the changing room that England haven't had for a long time?
00:33I think with Tuchel you've got a manager who has delivered high-pressure team talks at halftime in plenty of
00:39occasions in major matches, you know, Champions League, things like that.
00:43And he has that experience of high-pressure occasions and no doubt that confidence in his own ability to say
00:49things and to pick the right thing to say in the right moment to say it.
00:53And perhaps in his first World Cup halftime team talk, he did that.
