Vance: tra Usa e Iran "ottime basi per accordo finale di successo"

Burgenstock, 22 giu. (askanews) - Il vicepresidente statunitense J.D. Vance ha affermato che il primo round di colloqui tra Stati Uniti e Iran in Svizzera ha gettato solide basi per raggiungere un accordo definitivo sulla fine della guerra in Medio Oriente. "Abbiamo gettato ottime basi per un accordo finale di successo", ha dichiarato Vance ai giornalisti nella località svizzera di Burgenstock, aggiungendo che "l'accordo finale è la casa... Non l'abbiamo ancora costruita, ma abbiamo gettato solide fondamenta per arrivare a una soluzione positiva per il popolo americano". Poi ha aggiunto: "L'Iran ha accettato di invitare nuovamente gli ispettori dell'AIEA nel Paese".
