The AMG Performance exhaust system is also a new development. It makes a significant contribution to the acoustic character of the V8 and underscores the emotional appeal of the GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ and GLS 63 4MATIC+. The standard flap control allows the sound characteristics to be adjusted – from a subtle accompaniment in Comfort mode to a dynamic character in Sport+ mode.
The exhaust flaps allow the sound to be optimally adapted to the current driving situation. The sound can be influenced either via selected drive programs or via the button in the central control panel of the center console. This allows the sound profile to be precisely adjusted to the desired balance between restraint and emotional presence.
