00:00speaking of Paula I want to see this version from Hunter Lawrence the guy that we saw that first
00:06moto we've seen this story before you've been able to get your brother in these first races
00:10but when it counts Jett's been a little bit better than you can you replicate what you did
00:15that first moto with a bike chain so far we'll find out in 30 minutes so then that puts the
00:21pressure on the number one of Jett Lawrence four moto wins in a row we've certainly seen him with
00:25some epic win streaks that is now over for the second in the first moto a rare bad start for
00:32the
00:32number one what happens if Hunter and Jett start together who's the better brother today Hunter
00:40has certainly stated his case see if Jett can fight back
00:49Garrett Marchpanks is one of these guys who finished fourth at Thunder Valley but he said he wasn't
00:54necessarily satisfied he thought it was maybe given to him a little bit he wants to get on the
00:57podium by his own way doing his own thing and not because people got ducked so watch for a little
01:02eagerness out of Garrett Marchpanks he has to get this good start though absolutely that's been a
01:07tough that starts to be getting better at least for 36 so here it is moto two ufoplast high point
01:14national 40 riders on the gate 30 minutes and two laps to race duration cart is sideways ribs are up
01:23gates down
01:28better start for Jett this time and Deegan Prado is there but Hunter Lawrence is going to make it
01:34happen again what a move by Hunter Lawrence he got beaten at first corner but immediately he went to
01:39plan B snuck on the inside of his brother Jett Lawrence and oh shit it is family feud time
01:46side by side down the rollers
01:49gave a chicken down here
01:52and Hunter will win it great Hunter you show you saw how aggressive he was in that opening corner
01:58let's see what Jett does he knows how good brother is made some changes on the bike and I
02:03do believe this is a big race for a Hunter Lawrence to be able to come here he said he
02:07felt good the
02:08bike was good he executed that first moto let's get a little bro let's show him off the older one

02:14this field well done for Plessinger on the seven and orange to make the move on Prado his teammate to
02:20take over third there's Plessinger like hey Deegan's up in a little bit better start than he did the first
02:27Moto Jorge Prado is right behind his teammate Aaron Plessinger
02:34and the crowd loving the setup for this Lawrence brother battle here
02:42you know you go back to Hangtown where Hunter came in with the momentum winning the opener and
02:47Moto2 had the start had the edge on Jett but there was a red flag restart and then Jett got
02:53the better start
02:53the next time around and Hunter thought maybe that was the difference so he has the opportunity now
02:59to show that track position is all he needs yeah I mean and not only just Hangtown we saw it
03:04before
03:05then as Jett loses the rear and they put a little bit of water down there where Hunter is it
03:10really
03:10these finishes come start dependence Jett's in front of him he usually holds on this is a new spot for
03:15Jett and again we know how good Hunter's been all day long and so far this season just think it's
03:21a big
03:21moment for him especially with the bike change how he sounded on that podium he really feels he can
03:26beat his brother better best time on a track that Jett's never lost on me right now
03:36overalls that would be tough really to beat Jett straight up at any track but Hunter has been able
03:42to do it before can he do it now Plessinger hanging tough I'd say this has been the best ride
03:48so far we've
03:49seen this season outdoors for Plessinger Prado and Deegan top five
03:58all right now as long as these two got the pace I think Jett probably if he feels comfortable running
04:02at this pace he'll probably just sit here let Hunter pull him away open that gap because the one thing
04:07you
04:08want to do especially if you're in Jett's spot then if you can't beat your brother you want to beat
04:12everybody else but you don't want to start fighting Hunter while everybody's you know bundle up together and lose a
04:18whole bunch of points or positions so Hunter's got the pace let us separate and then you guys go to
04:23work
04:25Jett lost the back end again and the approach of that jump Hunter getting away
04:36seeing it all day kind of guys really trying to pick up the pace charge to make a small mistake
04:41and lose more
04:42time but able to close back up so let's see how quickly Jett can do that and if he can
04:48and what
04:49the risk is by him doing that and that's keeping Plessinger in the game as well this is much improved
04:55on the number seven Katie after motor one he went back into the team and he told them that he
05:00was
05:00actually really excited he felt like he rode a really good race in particular because he said his
05:04fitness he felt he could keep up with web march banks and he was keeping that pace that was
05:10confidence boosting for someone like Aaron Plessinger especially after he's battled some gremlins here
05:14this last year yeah it just seems like every time something's about to go right for Plessinger
05:19something then goes wrong to undo it so this would be huge if he could maintain this spot to the
05:25end
05:26he's riding well yeah he is I mean more of the form that we saw at the beginning last year
05:31almost
05:31winning some of these motos with Jett and Eli so um injuries sicknesses Aaron knows how to ride a
05:38motorcycle so far so good in this moto long way to go though yeah he's got Prado here with the
05:43pink gear
05:44and then Deegan in blue
05:48and it's a rematch about it once Deegan threw everything at Prado and Prado held strong to the end
05:53and here they are the same spots again
06:00and you just get the sense of this one and I think the crowd feels the same way
06:05something's going to give here I don't know what direction it's going to go
06:08yeah this is this is early laps I mean in the 450 class they kind of let things settle out

06:13make those attacks early and they can't get it then they start going on the work kind of what we

06:18that uh cave manure slot chess battles here we'll go to where Hayden knows he's got a long race to

06:26around Jorge the rider down here that is Ferrandez trying to see what place that's at um a tough day

06:43oh same section we saw temperament go down earlier oh just collision both those lines came together
06:50you see you can't tell who that other rider but he was banking off that wall going inside Dillon
06:55was fading out was it Tondel 417 yeah Tondel been riding well the rider out of Norway man
07:04okay so yeah that wasn't uh uh Ferrandez was making a mistake that was contact look at this
07:11Chet Lawrence now a 3.8 second deficit to hunter so far so good for the 96. yeah he's getting
07:20a drop on
07:21younger brother and it's kind of the same thing he did that first moto this is a
07:26key part of the race because he's able to extend that gap and then jet gets a gap over these
07:30guys it's
07:31going to be hard from the race and it might be likely he'll fall in that same situation he was
07:35in that first moto so Hunter Lawrence understands this race is meant to win now and Ferrandez in the
07:42box there it looks like he is heading back to the pit for Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati tough
07:48weekend
07:48for them they don't have Justin Barsha this weekend who's out with a back injury battle's tightening up
07:53here the Red Bull KTM teammates and Deegan so it's Plessinger Prado Deegan third fourth fifth
08:01see what Jorge
08:04inside trying to stay in that that long so he can get over that double it's pretty good to be
08:09able to
08:09get that from the inside but like what Jorge did there he once he made that double he slowed down
08:14and then got over that double cleanly and that allowed him to jump over the next set of breaking
08:18bumps good line hey all fast this race goes on for sure what energy
08:29and Deegan still digging back here
08:37Katie any reports there for the 14 of Ferrandez yeah tough day for Dylan Ferrandez the team just
08:42told me he wasn't injured at all but they did pull the bike in mechanic hopped on and they drove
08:47away
08:47they said bike seems to be fine too so they're gonna diagnose and see what's going on all right
08:51thank you yeah hopefully he's just shaking up battles tightening Prado just keeps inching closer and
08:57closer to Plessinger uh Jorge see hey Deegan hanging around there Aaron's running really good today
09:10yeah definitely signs of the old Aaron Plessinger here but he's gonna have to hustle
09:14Prado wants him and Prado does not want to have to deal with Deegan doesn't want to get stuck here
09:22they both make mistakes coming up that hill it's so tough inside line now for Prado yeah Aaron
09:28they helped him out just a little bit as he's gonna be down the inside but man you see Jorge

09:34maneuver trials riding that bike through that inside that corner that was so beautiful yeah but Plessinger is
09:41gonna hang on can he get back to the inside he looks over no Prado gets there yeah that was

09:47teammate love kind of understanding that maybe Jorge's moving forward you don't want to end up
09:51slowing all you guys down could just bring it in 38 so Aaron he fought him and then he let
09:56his teammate
09:57go by okay so Prado back to third about six seconds off of Chet Lawrence and now Plessinger versus Deegan
10:11yeah Hayden's been pretty good today but he's just been a tick off when you look at
10:16speed wise and he's been it seems like this close to Jorge all day you know with the motos but
10:21let's
10:22see what Jorge is he able to get away or Hayden gets stuck behind uh AP JT yeah I mean
10:28Hayden's riding
10:28well but I just don't know that this track on a 450 the way Hayden wants to ride necessarily works

10:35know we've seen how effective Hunter Lawrence has been and Deegan and Hunter Lawrence are really
10:39antithesis of each other the way they want to go about their craft so yes Hayden's in the fight
10:44but I just think he's kind of fighting an uphill climb here technique wise
10:53we're about to find out as he is all over Plessinger
11:03and that's Cooper Webb problems back to the track or to the mechanics area to the mechanics area he goes
11:13odd I don't know if he went off the track or realized something was wrong the bike and cut across
11:18but it
11:18was a weird spot he was in yeah that's a bike problem oh man all right well that at least
11:24means
11:25he's uninjured tough one for Coop Deegan got the inside line on Plessinger
11:33side by side it'll be the inside for Deegan in the next turn
11:47it'll be all about how he gets out of this corner Hayden's going to have the run up inside yeah

11:53got him if he gets through this JT yeah we're watching this battle here but I was there when
11:58Cooper Webb pulled in and something was loose I you know can't tell if it was broken or loose but
12:02on the
12:02handlebars his handlebars were moving a good two or three inches in his hand so obviously can't race
12:08a track like this like that all right bummer there for Coop Deegan has completed that pass on Plessinger
12:15bottom boxing up March Banks moving up in green should be Hampshire and Harrop in front of him so
12:23another good day for Harrop on the triumph those three fighting that'd be six seven eight
12:30so Deegan is fourth it looks remarkably like the first photo Deegan's going to try to get Prado
12:37Prado going to do everything he can to prevent that from happening
12:41and how about Hunter Lawrence five second gap over Jett March Banks bottom box
12:48I got Harrop yeah good pass hair got stuck in there at Rudd yeah Garrett's got a really good flow
12:55here today last couple weekends been running really good not surprising starting to be not surprising
13:01seeing him up front closer to the top five for sure
13:09Deegan two and a half seconds off of Prado there you see Prado with the pink gear up ahead
13:18good ride by Jorge too and he's had pressure all day long in front of him behind him hey Deegan's
13:25right there he's still a long ways in this race but I like how Jorge's been responding
13:30you know really kind of fighting to pull through and that takes a rider that belief and you heard
13:34him on the podium saying he's good moto result started trying to get closer to the leaders up there
13:41and now back in the battle
13:46yeah I think that's the battle obviously the battle everyone wants to see is the Lawrences and Deegan
13:51that's the hype for sure but it would be interesting to see where Deegan as a rookie would fit into
13:56this
13:56field against a guy like Prado they had zero history racing against each other it's a bummer that Sexton
14:01is now out for the rest of the season with the torn ACL and also we lost the great Eli
14:07Tomac in the very
14:08first lap of the first moto of the year okay so outside after fly is the word from Brent Duffy
14:16the
14:16mechanic section of the track is that they're giving him some lines yeah I'm assuming he's talking
14:22about that fly big tabletop jump and Hayden he wants Hayden to go to the outside keep his momentum up
14:28because if you notice when Hayden's there he's running that inside really slowing down okay I'm
14:32assuming that's what he's talking about Katie well and remember Stu and between motos that was what
14:38he had said he felt like he needed a better line choice and they were going to help him out
14:41in that
14:41process something else he told me that he really wanted to work on was being smoother and smoother
14:46now he said I know I'm an aggressive rider but I need to learn how to do that aggression and
14:51use
14:51that aggression in the right places like be more flowing in and out of the ruts and so these are
14:56things that as Hayden is learning the bike he's learning the riders he's learning you know how to control it

15:56hayden starting to close up now i was wrong on that area so they're actually talking about a
16:00different section so if we stay there hayden's mechanic wants him to go on the outside of these
16:04ruts as katie mentioned maybe he was struggling a little bit in so that's where his mechanic in the
16:09middle part of the racetrack asking hayden hayden to switch his lines up so if he can make a pass
16:26he can make a pass on that section right before this moto they groomed that entire outside that's
16:31what brent's alluding to it is literally brand new around there instead of hayden using those deep
16:37ruts on the inside he could go on a fresh part on the outside all right j thanks jt james

16:42we get to that section yeah we're coming to it right now so if you notice and see if hayden
16:47got
16:48that pit board this is that flat jump so hayden's going inside where jorge is so see how i didn't
16:54do
16:54it runs you look on the outside it's very smooth and what that would do he hits that outside gets
16:59through it he'll be able to be on the inside of nick's next corner you can't pass anybody for
17:04following so that's that section this mechanic's talking about all right halfway through this photo
17:09reminder to stock up on monster energy at bfs foods and look at the exchange just through that
17:16one section prada was able to put some time into deegan so deegan has to go back to work
17:24and i love the matchup because prado is so tough to pass so crafty and then we know of course
17:30how
17:30aggressive deegan is so this is a great kind of oil and water combo two things that don't work well
17:37together what is going to happen if deegan can get a wheel and show him a wheel well we know
17:43what's
17:44going to happen some battles you know i like what you said right there because i think even with jorge
17:50if i would say critiquing anything as a rotter it's not much to do i think he needs a little
17:56bit of
17:56i would say that hayden deegan kind of you know swag a little bit when he's rotting and maybe rotting
18:02with
18:02hayden deegan you know pushing them that attitude or whatnot jorge's picking up the pace they're
18:07actually keeping hunter lawrence at the same pace so jorge needs a little bit of this hayden needs a
18:13little bit of that and maybe these two can get closer to the leaders because they're rotting good
18:17but those two out front they're gone well we gotta shout out hunter lawrence who at the moment at least
18:22has a straight up one one day break him it's the word from prado's mechanic
18:30richard sterling to his rider that's exactly what i'm talking about his mechanic
18:35that's what you want that's that break you like the different attitude on here deegan's sending it
18:40now hayden might jump up to inside if he keeps doing that oh and almost contact jt prado able to
18:46double jt and he's trying i'm not sure if that's uh pedro prados mckenna i'm sure he thinks it's
18:51prado or drago but i would i would highly not advise for hayden deegan to read that if i was
18:57because
18:57that's the type of thing that will actually motivate hayden more and what you were talking about weeds
19:02with these guys you know oil and water this is really just strength on strength great defense
19:06versus incredibly aggressive offense i am so here for absolutely and deegan's going for it again
19:13i don't think hayden needs to read anything to find his motivation he'll put it in his mind but
19:18again nice response and you're right jt defense versus offense and a little bit easier to be in
19:24hayden hayden position but at the same time jorge knows how to block those lines and make hayden have
19:31to work and maybe he'll make hayden make a mistake and be able to ride away and find out
19:36and you see on the left side of the track hunter lawrence just maintaining that big gap
19:39over jet could be hunter's best performance one one he did it at the opener but today he's doing it
19:46against his brother and trying to wrestle points back in the championship back to this deegan
19:54outside becomes the inside this could be it yeah he got him at that point and for he was kind
20:00of lazy
20:00on the throttle getting out of there so not really sure i thought maybe he would put up a little
20:05bit
20:05more fight but maybe he's going to try to dive down inside and hayden checks that down he's got to
20:10respond he shut it down in two different sections the 38 march banks in the bottom box making moves on
20:16that green kawasaki now deegan going to try to get away from prado
20:24so that was a pass by march banks that you saw that bottom box again that'll move him up to
20:29sixth
20:29plus the girl lonely fifth and deegan trying to check out on prado yeah hayden might have ran uh
20:35or hayes before like jt said oh you want me to break okay no problem yeah don't don't tempt this
20:43guy
20:44don't make him angry don't get in his sandbox that's where he lives at like the hulk out there you
20:50don't
20:50want to see him when he's angry and deegan is throwing down now
20:56yeah and that section that his mechanic was asking is section three and if you look
21:00hayden deegan's not even on that page in fact he's in seven i think probably his lap right here he's
21:06still running that inside so he's probably figured that out really nice that's actually a really good
21:11line at that moment so hayden's picked it picked it up and they've actually somewhat closed in on jet
21:17we'll see if jet's kind of doing that same thing as the first moto just all right he'll realize and
21:21pull
21:21away but we're proud by hayden deegan teddy we're on the topics of pit boards and lines uh pedo put
21:29for prado inside tree turn so stew kind of what you were talking about maybe that's going to be the
21:33area that he's going to be focusing on to get to get yeah he lost a lot of ground there
21:39yeah you got
21:40this turn that turn that'll turn over there because hey deegan's gone he's got to figure it out
21:45hey deegan just put in his best lap of the moto a 2064 that is faster uh than jet's last
21:53time around
21:53by two seconds he's following jt hey he took the words out right out of my mouth that was two
21:58and a
21:58half seconds quicker than jet listen i don't want to jinx this thing but we've been waiting for these
22:04two to meet up and go head to head in a battle i'm not rooting for anybody but can we
22:08please just get
22:09it on already like i want to see deegan get up there and get get jet everything he wants that's
22:13what we're
22:14i think everybody's been waiting for it might have been the pit board there for pedro it's the
22:19best deegan's written all day yeah hayden's run good i mean i think he hates a champion so he senses
22:24you know jorge and jorge really didn't fight him coming out of that corner and hayden said okay
22:29these are the moments you break the rod and now hayden can go after jet or he can basically hang
22:35out
22:35where he's at in third place and that goes back to my point with jorge that's a little bit of
22:40that
22:40hayden deegan kind of thing i was saying with jorge because jorge has been faster than hayden all day
22:45long right that first moto hayden was there he's able to fight him off but when it came to these
22:50motos and that grind this is where he's got to work on that obviously hayden has it um at least
22:56for this
22:56moto oh yeah there's never been a question of the will of the 38 and listen to these fans they
23:04want that
23:04same battle and i'm saying hayden's on the same straightaway as jet so i don't know if jet's aware
23:10of this you're gonna look up there you see jet lawrence and when you're in the role hey deacon's
23:14found his flow found some great lines this is the last kind of rider that you want to find any
23:19kind of
23:20mojo in this moto
23:23so now we hear deegan's pit board said jet plus four so they're telling their guy to try to go
23:31at him
23:34and no answers for the 96 today not from jet lawrence not from anybody it is hunter lawrence's
23:40day if he can hang on to this an incredible ride for the 96 say probably one of his best
23:46rods of his whole career i mean there might be other races that he'd probably say i was faster i
23:51felt
23:51better but in the moment this is the hunter lawrence that we saw answer in supercross the
23:57guy that said man i don't think they ever raced this this guy that belief knowing how important
24:03this weekend was knowing how important that start was he executed both of them and he did he's doing
24:09something to jet lawrence i know he got seven and a half minutes left he's doing something to jet
24:13lawrence that i don't think anybody's ever done in his career up front and just pulling away and
24:17making it look easy in a motocross track that's insane yeah really no challenge just just moving away
24:24jet cut to second in the first moto not able to close second in this moto they started basically
24:29together not able to close hunter lawrence he needed it two great races in a row for jet
24:36he lost a point lead did hunter and he is answering back it's not going to be that simple this
24:42year
24:48and i think of jason this goes back to what i was saying in the opening show when you look
24:53at stats
24:54how many races jets won and all that you would think hunter lawrence doesn't have a chance and
24:58most would think that as well stats would say that but hunter lawrence has been trending in the right way
25:04and when i went back to a true racer you gotta look at their last results and hunter would see
25:09the four lot out of four losses three of those came in the last seven races and i've done two
25:14of
25:14those so in last i'm just as good i've got better this year i figured out something on my motorcycle
25:20and that's the only way you can come out and actually execute that no matter what you tell
25:25yourself to be able to execute that he actually believes this and i think it's huge i mean huge
25:31going into this off break for a performance like this if you can hold on another five and a half
25:35minutes
25:37a couple of crashes uncharacteristic last week for hunter then he told us after that first moto win
25:44they did some work trying to get that feel in the front tire that he wanted obviously that has paid
25:50off in spades and you're right we've seen a couple of moto losses really only a couple for jet in
26:00his 450
26:01pro motocross career chase sexton's gotten it done a few times but two times in the same day
26:08and two times where i mean honestly he couldn't even get a wheel in this might be the best answer
26:14anyone has had yet for jet lawrence in this class oh look at this plessinger has caught prado
26:21and that's and march banks yeah garrett's coming up it just shows you like a little bit of whatever
26:29they're working on that kawasaki it's starting to work here it's starting to find his form they're
26:33starting to believe and it's not like he's getting great starts he's making his way up here he's been
26:39doing it a couple weekends in a row he might have an opportunity to be top four getting more here
26:45classic are down to the inside there's march banks in green lurking
26:51this is exactly where they paddled at the beginning of the race
26:55yeah aaron's like are you gonna hook me up i'll let you
26:58hook me up here i don't think prado plays that way oh they almost collide
27:06yeah mine's crisscrossed yeah aaron prada he closes off now see how much he bites him
27:14he's making it tough yeah a lot tougher than aaron made it on him
27:19next time that's only allowing the 36 to get close
27:27oh so tough on plessinger right now and there's march banks
27:32see hamshire not too far back as well
27:37yeah i can tell aaron's probably not gonna be that happy about this one there's that outside line
27:43it's too far yeah it's too far and they figured out a good inside line i don't know if they're
27:48able
27:48to get out of those ruts but that inside is actually quicker now
27:56yeah and if you're aaron you're seeing how quickly you caught jorge and now he's picking up the pace
28:01they're starting to pull away from these march banks
28:05a little motivation that little teammate battle right there no matter what because it was questioned
28:11with jorge after he watched the lawrence get away especially after that first moto then hate got him
28:17it had been easy for jorge just to throw in the plug right here see your teammate that's that little
28:22bit of motivation that maybe keeps you going uh for the end of this race but
28:27good response by the number 26. yeah but think of the difference man he was there with deacon just a
28:34few laps ago the gap is 10 seconds but yeah he's definitely wrapped it back up now
28:39and plus you're asked to go back to work yeah but i think that gap a little bit is more
28:44a little bit
28:44of mindset of the whole jorge's here for a winning championship he wants to win the race and if at
28:49the least he wants to be on the podium so when he's in a position to do that and that's
28:54gone
28:55it could be 50 seconds to him i don't think that's a speed thing it's just really his mindset
28:59because clearly he's able to pick up the pace and pull his teammate off
29:03it's about two and a half minutes left to get this done now everybody great
29:12no changes up front deacon had that flurry it's still three seconds between he and jet lawrence
29:17hunter maintaining a gap of around eight seconds two minutes and two laps to go plessinger again
29:33get that double there you go tunnel jump double down plessinger gets it crowd responds
29:42jorge tries to fight back though pretty good luck right there by jorge that's gonna go inside here
29:51there's a student cowboy boots out needed the spurs there got a little out of control
29:57prato is fighting so hard now it's a little different than what it was earlier
30:03might be the last time aaron makes it easy on him early in a moto now that he knows he's
30:07in for this
30:07yeah then he's getting this battle again he's fighting him now

30:23they're pushing it so hard they're uh matching the leader's pace
30:28you know the hunter's just controlling it right now
30:32yeah this is a different rider than what we saw when uh hayden was able to get around

30:43aaron's got a little bit of gap now and you'll probably see march banks
30:48or he's really working these insides keeping them really close so
30:51i believe aaron's able to get away then garrett's gonna probably close back in on march bank but look
30:58at the gap they're able to pull steve

31:12bloss right out the top 10. bloss and craig both had problems in the first photo so nice bounce back
31:18for craig of the quadlock honda ninth and the liquid molly beta of bloss this track looks so rough so
31:26slippery so everything hit different sections of these guys are still pushing i was looking at that
31:33rear tire look like a tractor pull out there bike wasn't going nowhere catching those runs yep i mean
31:40it was bugs
31:43these high point fans sticking around to the final moments two and a half to go lab traffic that's jack
31:50chambers in green that prado's trying to get around while holding march banks at bay

38:26it seems like every time hunter lawrence gets a big win somehow it still feels like
38:31surprise to folks but this was in route he is here and he is ready to fight his brother
