00:06He's had a bit of a turbulent period since winning two majors in 2024,
00:10but he's still maintained an excellent record on the biggest stage.
00:14If you think about the fact he's got four top tens and a 12th place finish in his last six
00:17major starts,
00:18and his worst finish in eight US Open appearances is tied 14th.
00:23This guy is a top 10 machine in the US Open.
00:27It's insanely good form over a really long period of time in one of the toughest events you're going to
00:33find on the calendar every single year.
00:35So he warrants that selection, in my opinion.
00:38If you want a steady, consistent guy who you know is going to contend, or you're fairly confident is going
00:43to contend,
00:43Chauffele is your man.
00:44He was sixth at Shinnecock Hills in 2018.
00:46He's got great correlating course form, four top 12 finishes at Copperhead, great win at Royal Troon,
00:53in fifth at both Riviera and Torrey Pines.
00:55He's got good form putting on poor surfaces, which we know some players can find tricky.
01:00So there's loads to like about Xander's chances.
